Handy cafe with some nice staff and coffee. Had breakfast here and really enjoyed the goats cheese and pomegranate on toast

If I had stayed here for one night, I would immediately have awarded this property five stars. Its bestselling points are: 1. Superbly central location; you can access almost everything in central london by foot alone. 2. Room amenties were most lovely: there was a large Marshall Bluetooth speaker, a complimentary minibar (with coke and coke diet, milk, beer) - and popcorn ; very nicely scented toiletries (lavender-peppermint) with plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner in large dispensing bottles, towels were large and luxurious; windows were large and came with electric operated curtains. 3. Air conditioning was quiet and working well. Yes, its “basic” but sometimes, basic things like this can get on your nerves so I’m glad it worked throughout my entire stay, peacefully and effectively. However, I stayed for six nights. Here’s the usual problem - the longer we stay in any property, the more “problems” we discover. Almost all the time, such “problems” have to do with consistency. Although the fridge items were replenished daily, the popcorn (and sugar?!!) wasn’t. The hotel also lost two opportunity costs on us. Firstly, the discordance between the receptionist and ther manager who proactively emailed me and asked if I wanted the hotel to arrange for two-way airport transfer. I had initially declined but on arrival, I decided to request the receptionist for airport transfer to the airport - the reply i received was that the hotel did not offer such a service. The second loss to the hotel was that at registration, I had clearly ticked the boxes for daily breakfast, but it turned out that they had missed it so they did not “cater” the breakfast for us (apparently the cafe needs to ‘prepare’ pre-orders). That’s fine, so I suggested i would pay for the daily breakfasts for the rest of my stay- the reply i received was that it was no longer possible because i didn’t pay on arrival. I’m grateful to the receptionist for offering us complimentary tea and coffee from the cafe on arrival (“because we are staying for so many nights”). But the above, and oh yes the incredibly soft pillows (you need two to provide some decent neck support), dented my experience here. Lastly, I couldn’t connect to the Bluetooth speaker at all. Oh well…

I Live in London and I just come to the coffee shop. The staff in this place is very kind and friendly. Always paying attention to all, they are very professional. I guess all of this is the same at the hotel so, at least from my experience at the coffee shop, I would totally recommend this place. I am very happy with the experience :)

Liked · Page 8 is at a super location - buses right when you exit the hotel, underground train is 2 minutes walk. Its right on Trafalgar square in front of the National Museum - you can't get a better location. This was especially nice since we planned to spend time around Soho / Covent Garden and this meant walking distance. The hotel rooms are spacious, and we found the facilities matching our traveling needs - a large safe fitting laptops, small fridge, toiletries, water, TV. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating on the several times where we approached them. The cleanliness wasn't perfect but it was definitely comfortable. Disliked · We did find several long hairs scattered around some prime locations - near the bed, on the toilet, in the sink, in the shower. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the cleanliness rating, and while it did not disappoint per say, I do think its a point worth improving.

Visited Wrights Cafe Pall Mall last weekend. The food was absolutely delicious! I also had a coffee and it was the best one i have had in the area….The prices are definitely on the cheaper side, especially for the area. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend to all!!!

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
