The atmosphere and quality of ingredients are good.. but the portion size and prices are ridiculous €5.40 for a croqueta (yes a single croqueta) is daylight robbery... €7.20 for olives... €9.60 for patatas bravas...€32.20 for a pork chop... (small). Spanish cuisine is simple and hearty, not sure where they are sourcing their €7.20 olives.

VERY expensive for how small the portions are. Weren’t asked to try the wine (we got a bottle). Service was poor, had to send 2 plates back as they weren’t cooked properly and received attitude from the waiter. Bill was just under 400 pounds for 4 people with only one bottle of wine. Way too expensive for what it is and we have been to a lot of one, two & three Michelin star establishments.

I am Spanish, so please reflect on this when absorbing my review. Firstly the waitress was superb and knowledgable. She’s clearly had good training and knew the menu well. A great sign. The food was also top notch BUT very expensive. I was expecting a bill of £130 or so. But not £200+ for two people. I felt a bit cheated. £13 for just one leek is IMHO too much. I was slate this place for its pricing if it wasn’t for the quality of the food. Which was superb. The wine list is very Spanish which I loved. But again £50+ for Taxoli is very toppy. In spain you’d pay £80-£90 for just as excellent meal.

Great dinner at this restaurant with a water view from their beautiful patio! Other reviews mentioned that the restaurant was pricey, but I thought the quality of the food and ample portions was what I would expect at an authentic tapas place. I appreciated the beautiful presentation and well-paced service, so that as we ended a course, another was brought so we had a nice, leisurely flow to the meal. I feel sorry for anybody coming here as their first attempt at eating tapas especially if you’re gonna be the one paying! The food itself was over salted which is fine for me but not for the rest of my party! The food was extremely expensive, about 15£ for 3 croquetas that were mediocre and no special performance, if the food was good quality or came with a show I would understand their insane prices, we were recommended to purchase 12 tapas for 3 people! It is an absolute fortune to eat here and there are plenty of other better tapas restaurants in Bristol! Please please please do not come here.

Absolutely outstanding. We popped in for a quick dinner with our kids not quite realising the sort of level of food we were going into, but everyone left exceptionally happy. While it was more expensive than a dinner we would normally have taken our kids to (11/8 and 6), as the adults, we were seriously impressed by the quality and attention to detail in every dish. The cocktails were brilliant, great service, good tunes. Absolute standouts were the charcoal toasted sourdough and olive oil, tortilla espanolla, the tiger prawns, iberico pork chop and lamb. Would 100% go back again.

Could not fault the quality of the food. The leek with romesco sauce was excellent. Our gripe is that for the ££ the portions are very small. That includes the drinks which were all small for the cost. We managed to spend over £180 for two of us with not that much food and a few drinks. For that reason I’d struggle to recommend Parco.

The food was fresh and the cooking was masterful. I can definitely see why they were given the Michelin star. The only slight negative (and hence the 4 star) was the copious amount of salt used in some of the food. The amazing part is that the flavours punch through even after your tongue has been subjected to the salt assault. The best of the dishes served was the squid and aoli - delectable. I still can't decide if the presentation is a work of modern art or created by a 5 year old, certainly unconventional. The other thing to note was the wait staff whose knowledge of the ingredients and service with a smile made the experience delightful...

Very expensive, little quantity and little quality. We went to try it and had a disastrous experience. We ordered an anchovy tapa, which came with 2 anchovies for £6.50. A tapa of loin, which wasn't even loin, 6 slices £12 and a tapa of garlic prawns, literally 4 prawns, for £19. We were 4 people, thank goodness we only ordered 3 tapas to try and we didn't order more, because the bill with the 3 tapas and 4 beers was £65. I don't recommend anyone. This is a genuine review from Ordinary Punter a real person who actually ate at this restaurant It feels a bit futile writing a review about a restaurant that has announced it will close down shortly but if it's of use to anyone: Came back again, as liked it so much last time. With the family. Food is imaginative, tasty and locally sourced (generally). The service is cheerful and knowledgeable but verging n the too slow - we had to get their attention to be served anything at all and then the food arrived on the verge of starting to worry if it was coming. It was a busy Saturday night and they were over-trading a bit

I am writing this review because I am craving another meal at Paco Tapas as it is probably the best meal I have had in a Bristol restaurant but I am really not down for the services which was VERY obnoxious. It felt like the waiter was breathing down our necks the whole time, I was nervous for my next interaction with him. He made a point to tell us that we were in a 'posh' place now and at one point slammed his and on our table to snatch away the menu. Very weird. The food and cocktails were incredible but it would have been nice to see a bit more on the plate for the cost. Still debating whether I will go there again.

This is the first trip advisor review I have written as me and my partner were really disappointed in our visit here, and its the first time I have ever had to ask to move at a restaurant due to staff conduct. It was New Years eve and myself and my partner opted for the full tasting menu - spending a lot of money in the establishment. Menus were stained and we poured our own wine which is fine but what was not at all fine was being sat chefs table whilst barely one dish was being prepared and instead staff were playing catch across the length of the table with a dirty rag. Swearing and being rude. One staff member stood on the chefs table with feet almost touching our dishes. Over the course of our meal we were splashed several times with dirty water as despite us being the only two sat at the bar it was decided to ha-hazardously hope down and clean all kitchen equipment. We asked to move and one staff member had a word with the rude staff behind the bar and then we could verbally hear them complaining about us moving. I have eaten at michelins all over the world and also am a fan of relaxed dinning - this is one of the rudest staff experiences I have ever seen for a bill which was incredibly high, which staff member did not seem to respect should come with a certain level of service.

I definitely wish that I had read the reviews on here before visiting. We were given a "Chef's Taster Menu" as a gift, which amounted to £85 per person, and thought a nice idea, so we visited today 06/01/24 and to be honest really wished we hadn't as we came away very disappointed and feeling that we'd wasted a Saturday night out ! Not one of the tapas dishes were anything to get excited about, most cold or barely luke warm, the seared tuna was bland and tasteless, two miniscule pork ribs barely warm & very salty, stuffed quail which looked virtually raw & again barely warm etc etc I asked if we were to have any bread to which the waiter said yes and eventually brought 20 minutes later. After finishing we asked for the bill, which arrived totalling £248 less the £170 pre paid voucher, so £78 to pay - 3 small glasses of white wine (£10 each) £30, 1 very small bottle of cider £6.50, 1 small bottle of beer £6 and £7 for the Bread ! and to top it off £28.50 service charge !!!! I would definitely not recommend this restaurant at all and will 100% not be visiting again.

Good service they all seemed busy and attentive. The food however lacked in our opinion, there are far better tapas restaurants around. Not one dish blew us away , most dishes were very salty and the dish that left us both an impression was a bowl of tomatoes which kind of says something… Unfortunately not our favourite meal but that’s our own taste!

Been back again because the food is stunning . The front of house staff are amazing as per usual . When you sit at the kitchen tables you see why it takes time for food to come out the accuracy of them cooking it they’ve got it down to a fine art. £50 for a steak is it expensive yes it is but also is it worth it yes it is , it just melted. It’s basic simple cooking that lets the food speak for its self which is a rare find these days so many restaurants get low quality products even Michelin standards are dropping and they just hide food with sauces and garnish. Here it’s just simple and well done. It’s what Michelins should be like. First time around the meal came to £180. Second time the meal came to £160. It’s not cheap but. If you think of the cost of everything has gone up and the overheads will of as well as the staff should be getting a living wage too. It’s not just the meal in front of you the process behind and all the hidden costs you don’t physically see. Hopefully I’m going to be back in January for another amazing meal.

Went to Paco with a friend whilst on an overnight stay in Bristol. We were seated on stools overlooking the food prep stations. 1. The food is grossly over priced! We paid a ridiculous amount for what was in fact a quarter of a tomato thinly slice with olive oil and a sprinkle salt. 2. 1 croquett which was small for £5. 3. Absolutely shocking service, waiting at least 40 minutes in between dishes coming out! When we questions this one waitress had an incredibly bad attitude. She was rude and when we asked had out irder been forgot pushed up in our faces and demanded to know who told us that! 4. Raw Spanish omelette with was like scrambled egg with no flavour. We were told this is how they are served. After waiting an hour and still never getting Albondigas we asked for the bill. A Liverpudlian man working there was superb, has excellent communication skills came to chat with us. We explained to him and he apologised and tried to get us to stay. Now we were treated like we were uncultured idiots! We are from South Wales where there are some excellent tapas bars in Cardiff! When we mentioned them the gent we spoke knew these restaurants and gave them glowing reviews. My friend I was with worked in Cadiz for over a year and is very aware of how tapas is served! We were told by one of the waiting staff that the restaurant was on its way out and on its last legs. DO NOT GO HERE, RUDE, POOR SERVICE, UNDERCOOKED FOOD AND A RIP OFF!!

Very disappointing. No issue with keeping it simple and letting the produce do the talking but it has to be perfectly done and both our pieces of fish were undercooked and under seasoned, had we not ordered vegetable dishes it would have been so bland. We sent one back and the head chef agreed it was under but rather than apologise we were made to feel like we’d offended them. The calamari was small and sad looking, the saffron mayo was a nice touch though. We sat and watched all the food get prepared and there is a lack of creativity, where were the clam or mussel dishes with sauces or Albondigas! Shocked to hear after it has a star! A real gem! Service was superb, food up there with some of the best tapas we’ve eaten (the monkfish and pork ribs are an absolute must) and the atmosphere comfortable and casual. We’ll definitely be back!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother coming here. The food was nice but decidedly average, especially for the cost. I've eaten food as nice in plenty of Tapas restaurants. We were initally seated about 2ft from the cooking area which was so hot and loud it was...

This is a busy and full restaurant where the staff still find time to talk knowledgeably about the menu and try hard to make you feel welcomed. The food quality is excellent with specials added to the regular options. The food is representative of all...

Went for a special anniversary meal which only just justified the bill which was significantly more than we paid at our last visit before it expanded from baby sibling to Casamia. Sadly the increase in price wasn’t matched by an increase in enjoyment. The food...

Fantastic food and service. We sat near the service/prepping area which was perfect to watch a very skilled team at work. We had the 'chef's menu' option which was multiple courses covering most of the menu. Highly recommend!

On the whole, disappointing. Nearly every dish was over seasoned with the predominant flavour being one of salt. Good quality ingredients and some good technical cooking marred by this issue.

Over all a very underwhelming experience. Food its self was extremely overpriced for what you get even for london standards. While understand charging premium for premium products a lot of prices offer poor value as a dinner. Again if the flavour and presentation was amazing...

A great spot for a wonderful lunch. We had the chefs choice with sherry pairing and we were excited to see each dish that came out.

Very good food. Every dish was reliably well cooked and tasted delicious. I have to say that no dish we tried was truly amazing, but it was consistently very high quality and delicious. Service was very good including handling an allergy without any fuss. We paid £145 for 2 including drinks.

I recently visited Bilbo’s and we were really looking forward to trying their fries. Unfortunately, they were drowned in way too much gravy! While I love a good gravy topping, this was over the top – the fries became completely soggy and lost their crunch. A lighter hand with the gravy would’ve made them perfect. If you’re into fries swimming in sauce, this might be for you, but I’d love to see a bit more balance. The flavors were good, but the texture really missed the mark. Hoping they adjust this in the future!
