Pacinis in South Lanarkshire

over two hours for a delivery when live under five minutes away, and surprise it was cold when it arrived,,,, phoned to to find out where the delivery was and no apologize or anything along those lines just that we are busy,,, really don,t know why !!!

Went in here tonight just after 8pm, everyone in the place was waiting stood there for 10mins without any acknowledgment or other customers telling me they were waiting. Asked them if waiting now this was after 10mins, said I’ve not even ordered yet, the fryer then symbolic me just a minute, no apology or il be with you as soon as I can!! Waited another 5mins with 4 staff all running around with what can only say as headless chickens with no direction. Still my order was not taken, abysmal service, I work to hard for my money to wait 15mins just for what is supposed to be fast to take my order!! My order by the way was 4 fish suppers and 2 sausage suppers, so well done on your service cost yourself in excess of a £40 order👏👏👏👏. I will never got here again!! Abysmal

One of my previous experiences of telephoning an order in for "pick-up" had me waiting in a queue to find that the order wasn't ready and I had to wait for food to be cooked. Thought I would give Pacinis another go, thinking things could only get better. This time it would be simply walk in and request to have a fish supper, please. While waiting to place my order, I noticed there were several pieces of cooked fish in the heated compartment and chips were being served. But no, was told I had to stand back against the wall and wait, and wait and wait. No please was given in the direction! A customer who came in several minutes after me and was waiting at the counter despite being told to stand back was served with a fish supper. Counter staff couldn't give me a reason why I had to wait. Not the place it used to be and will be even longer before I go back.

Restaurant staff downright rude when I could not work the code thing it was. It clear as it was turned away from my sight. I was with my grandkids or I would have said something. I just told them she was having a bad day. 2 stars given for the fish supper which was delicious 😋

They dont know how to cook fish, batter rock hard, fish dry , even most of the chips went in the bin, would put it as a one off but exactly the same experience a month ago

Used this for the first time and was very impressed - good value, quick delivery and the very tasty food was piping hot when it arrived.

ordered online Got told a time to pick up Food over 30 minutes late Order incorrect Extreme Covid risk with how they manage their premises. I would advice to avoid at all costs.

I went in to get dinner as I finished work and decided to get a burger and chips which was delicious but as with the current situation with Covid 19, ya know the virus going about, we should be wearing face masks and social distancing but when I went in today, that never happened, like it never happened. There was 5 staff that were working and I didn't see one of them with a face mask on and they weren't social distancing at all. So that's disgraceful because clearly you dont care about keep yourselfs or the customer safe, and they have a thing where you have to wait outside for your food but they give you a "buzzer" in which i never received and never got told to wait outside so again, clearly they don't care at all about Safety, so apart from the food the rest of the experience was disgraceful and also, try and make your staff smile because they seemed like they didn't want to be there and couldn't care about their job so yeah

I have to say that my family & I have used the restaurant & take away many many times as we live locally.... 5 min walk away. We are delighted that we have the best chips in the world right on our doorstep. The girls serving are always so friendly & could not do more for you... You just have to ask. The food is great & very fresh & we are always happy with our food. If we were not... I am sure that they would fix this, but this has never been a problem. Its great for families as my partner & I can come to have a nice meal & sit & have a wee drink as well as eat with our kids & can just walk home. Food is a great price! I have to say that we haven't been up the last few months due to covid-19 but did get take away when that was all that was available instead. We were up last weekend & sat in & it was empty... only 2 other tables booked. All we did was phone up to make sure that they could accommodate us at a certain time & it was no problem. The place is clean & tidy & as a regular customer I would say that they are doing all they can to keep everyone safe & have made changes in line with the recent circumstances to follow guidelines. We are heading back up there tonight .... Looks like our wee Friday night dinners are back on at PACINIS...... Brilliant!!

Am surprised there are bad reviews as have had many a takeaway from here and it's never been less than great , suppers , pizzas and even breakfast !

Ordered a haggis supper and was charged £5.50 which is absolutely ridiculous but thought it’s the first chippy I’ve had here for a while so was looking forward to it but it was rotten!! Haggis just tasted of fat and chips were dry. Will defo not be returning and would not recommend at all even if it had acceptable prices!!

10 chips Max on roll , 10p a chip , horrible hard chips , asked owner if that was right as the worst roll and chips I have ever had , just got a stupid look and reply, steer clear to avoid dissatisfaction, daylight robbery , learn by my mistakes, I will never be back , if I could score less I would .

Just stopped here on the way back from Ayr to Edinburgh after finding it using google. Brilliant food and service. Restaurant through the back is lovely. Kids had fish and chips off the kids menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby had battered sausage and chips and me smoked sausage and chips. And curry sauce All were freshly cooked. Chips were best chips I’ve had From a chippy in a long time. Very reasonably priced Will definitely be back!

We have eaten here several times on our travels from skye and nothing compares to the place the fish is so tasty and the batter incredibly light and just that perfect crispiness to it, and for sitting in nearly £5 cheaper than we get it on skye and ten times as good we will be back, keep up the great work...

This is a gem of a place. Whether for a coffee, a breakfast or a good old fashioned chippie tea. The restaurant area is relaxed and thestaff are very friendly. Love this place

Wont be going back to this Restaurant as I was embarassed at the way I was spoken to by a very Rude Waitress I sat at a table which had two empty juice cans on it which was absolutely fine in my eyes along came this so called waitress and said to me in front of several people sitting at other tables"You should have sat at a clean table and I would have served you as i'm working at the Front" I felt so humiliated I wanted to just get up and walk out!! She obviously has no people skills and needs to learn how to be polite instead of being Rude. Unfortunately I didn't get her name as they don't wear name badges!!

Came here on a recommendation. Didn’t disappoint. Had the carbonara with a side of chips and both were incredibly fresh and tasty! At the prices charged, it really is value for money. Would definitely come back!!

food is brilliant and staff are friendly what more could u ask for? anything they can do for you they will !!

I have no problem with food it’s great but service is awful , tonight I wanted a special fish supper but was very busy , before you could just ask to put it on but now you have to wait till you get to till to order so after a 20min wait in queue you still have a wait so they can fry it up !

On the evening of Monday August 27th 2018, I thought I'd try Pacini's chip shop in Greenhills Square as it's not an establishment I've frequented too often.I checked on Pacini's website for what I wanted to order, a ham & pineapple pizza, spicy chicken pizza & a regular bag of chips. Website said the bill would come to £13.65. Now I would have proceeded to order from Pacini's website but they try & sneakily add an extra 50p to the bill for the convenience of using their site. Not for paying any additional fees, I just went up to Pacini's restaurant & placed the above order in the shop.Girl serving quickly took the order & got pizzas in the oven. A few minutes later, quick check on cooking progress & then she went off to clean tables.A few minutes later she quickly boxed up my pizzas & chips & said that'll be £13.75. I mean it was £13.65 on the website before additional fees. I wasn't for arguing over 10p. Either the girl on the counter can't count or her till was short & I was getting used to make up her earlier mistakes & reduce her losses.Now when I got home I took a photo of the burnt offering & it's now there for all to see. Pizza was bland, burnt to a crisp & tasty. It was meant to be spicy chicken, to be honest it looked like the kind of chicken you get at the Iceland supermarket next door. Absolutely no flavour & overall a waste of money.I now know based on the above experience why I don't usually go to Pacini's.Your mileage may of course vary.

Had a lovely fish tea on Saturday night fresh bread and butter, lovely big mug of tea next time will order small portions as the regular portions are too much

i thought the stoneage restaurant had gone .went in waited to be seated had to ask the chef can we take a seat ,sat for maybe 10 minutes and waitress went to 1 table then disappeared ,2 minutes later went to table beside us told us be with you soon did not come back . there were 2 or 3 customers in actual chippy so not busy 3 staff on . when we got up and left as not served no one even bothered .probably worst service ever . had chippy in takeaway before but wont be back if you dont care why should i

Nice local fish and chip shop with sit in or take out, but hate their chips. Too white. Just not cooked long enough.
