This was our first time at the Oyster Shed. We stopped by for a quick coffee and were greeted by Francisco, who made our morning. Kitchen wasn't open till 12, nevertheless we will be back to try some of their menu as it looked delicious!

Far too noisy with Music blasting out of speakers, i will never book again for Business Lunch, you could not get away from it even in small room in the corner

Food & service were ok ...nothing special, friendly and swift enough. Location was lovely and when I can afford to go again I may consider it. I think thats the story of the visit....expensive for what it was..overpriced. Of course the location was excellent and maybe it's just London prices, but they seemed excessive. If the price was lower, my rating would have been 3 to 4.

The food was fantastic, and the service was equally impressive, with engaging and friendly staff. A special shout-out to Francisco for taking such great care of us.

Brilliant Restaurant and Experience. Great Service and the food was unbelieve. The staff are very friendly and everything was spot on. From Adrian the Head Chef to Lucy the waitress everything was prefect. Highly recommended!!!

Great place, location, food and staff

Lovely dinner! Food was good, very nice oysters, good selection of drinks and non alcoholic too. The highlight was the staff; the service was impeccable! Kevin really made our night better. Great views too. It seems to be quieter on weekends than weekdays (I went on a Wednesday and it was packed outside but tables available upstairs). Will come back again!

Lovely watering hold down by the River Thames

My partner had bbq short rib, which was extremely tender but way too fatty, but the restaurant compensated us properly and more than we expected. I had the burger which was great and tasty. The service was outstanding and very attentive!

Great vibes all round! The service was amazing despite the place being packed. My lobster risotto was outstanding. After great dinner, we moved the party outside for some sundowners with the view. Unbeatable atmosphere!

They do not seem to acknowledge the composition of a Caesar Salad. The price is ridiculously high, and you have to pay £7 extra for them to add chicken to the Caesar Salad. I chose crab, hoping for crab leg (considering the price), but it was just tinned crab. Tesco serves better salad.

We had a lovely dinner. They placed in a great table in the window with very comfortable chairs. A lovely round table. The staff gave us an excellent service and did not rush us. The food excellent. We had the Charcuterie board and bread to start. Then we had the Haddock fish and chips, soft crab burger and the Cider Mussels.

We recently held our company’s summer party, and it was an great experience from start to finish. Everything, from the staff to the food, was excellent. Our team arrived ahead of schedule, but this was not a problem for the lovely and professional staff. They promptly guided us to our designated private area, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. The service was impeccable, with everything served right on time. The food we selected was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. The variety of options was impressive, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. A special mention goes to Valentino, Anette and Diego, who took exceptional care of everyone in the company. Their attentiveness and dedication contributed significantly to the evening's success. Our party coincided with the Euro 2024 semi-final, and it was a delightful surprise to find a TV set up so we could enjoy the game. This thoughtful touch added to the evening's enjoyment. Everyone had a fabulous time, enjoying great food and drinks in a fantastic setting. Overall, it was a flawless event, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you for a memorable evening. We give you a well-deserved 5 stars!

A really nice pub/bar will views over the River Thames. It's on the North bank, close to the Monument and Cannon Street stations. Space to sit/ stand inside and out.

What an AMAZING PLACE!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Was welcomed by the door with a big smile! Seated quickly and the glass of wine I ordered came with in minutes. Not long after that a very nice cheese plate (value for money) Outside and inside full of people and service is QUICK! Smiling people every where. Valentino was so attentive and welcoming! (asset to the pub! I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN WITH FRIENDS FOR A GATHERING!

Wow talk about class. This place says it all . Had a beautiful dinner with my partner. The evening couldn’t get better Guys please try the seasonal oysters. 5✨ to that!!! this place is complete with a beautiful view of the Thames, more over complete with the man in charge Valentino a very professional person and very attentive . We will soon definitely join with more friends.

Great spot for a drink along the river on a sunny day. Didn't try the food, but the drinks were decent. They were a bit on the sweet side, but you come here for the view.

Opted for fish and chips. Promised a nice piece of Haddock. Chips were good, chunky, hot and tasty. The fish was very poor. Small portion, overcooked batter, tasted greasy. Seven hours later I could still feel it sitting in my stomach. Glass of Pinot Grigio that was bland and flavourless. Very disappointing.

Visited on Friday and despite it being quite busy, we was tended to and seated fairly quick. Was recommended the Oxfordshire Ribeye Steak and we was not disappointed. Fernando who i assume is the manager stopped by our table for a chat and thanked us for the visit and asked if there was anything he could personally do to improve our experience. Bless his cotton socks as we was made up by the hospitality. Will visit again.

Beautiful view, accompanied by tasteful and delicious food!!! The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, attentively catering to your needs, it’s not just service but a cuddle in the form of hospitality. Really recommended to enjoy a day next to the London Bridge.

Great pub, in a perfect location to chill with a friend. Fast and polite service. Waiters were very attentive to detail, that is bonus. Came there to meet a friend and had no intention to dine just to taste some food. Had a burata, that was a very strange combination of ingridients, not to my palate. What I missed is a share plate for 2 just to taste: bits of different cold fish, prawns etc. would be great. Overall, great place and experience, definitely will come back.

We are upstairs on a Wednesday evening. Service was good which is a stark contrast to downstairs where it’s usually very slow at the bar. There were 8 of us and the food came out fair promptly. Our server was polite and friendly. I went for the crab roll starter which was excellent. Then I had the king prawn and calamari as a main. While the sea food was cooked fine and had good presentation it lacked an accompanying sauce. So the prawns felt a little too meaty. It wasn’t unpleasant at all but lacked sauce to give it 5 stars. The ribs were apparently very good too so recommend those. Overall a decent place for food. I would go again. .

Valentino did an excellent job in hosting us and making a very enjoyable afternoon

We visited for lunch, and we're seated promptly. The service was very good, but the restaurant was not very busy during our meal, which makes judging the service quality a little more difficult. The variety of menu options was quite good, but centered around seafood dishes, as you would expect. All of the selections our group made turned out to be very good, and we would select them again. I do recommend this restaurant, if you like seafood and a "seaside" eating environment.

Great place but the Sunday roast was a bit underwhelming....roasties tasted like yesterday's and gravy too watery. Otherwise a lovely place with pleasant staff in a great location - worth a visit most definitely!

Service was excellent, dinner was ok , dessert ( frozen cheesecake ) was a disappointment. Think a larger dessert option would be a improvement

It is a nice location, but the food is not great, and the worst part was ordering this cheesecake, which is basically a weird deconstructed pile of nothingness.

The service could be very improved and the quality of the food too. Especially considering the prices they charge for the dishes. The truth is that it has a very good location and views of the Thames River. To have a few beers it is very good. I do not recommend it for lunch or dinner.

Nice place to enjoy a drink next to the Thames and not as busy as the South Side of the river . Didn't try the food but it looked nice and the place was very clean.

Mikel is amazing!! He is the assistant manager and his attention to detail and service was incredible! He could tell we were slightly uncomfortable with our table to moved us somewhere more suitable with no hesitation. The starters were mediocre but the mains were delicious!

I booked this pub for a large family dinner (30 people) and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The food was average and the customer service, poor. We didn't receive much attention from our waiting staff and needed to guide them on basic tasks- asking to refill our water and switching out empty prosecco bottles with full bottles. Also baby changing table not easily accessible considering it's location (on basement floor). Likely won't be returning.

Shout out to Mikel this man is on point. Knows the food. Excellent on recommendations. The oysters were amazing, definitely get the lobster risotto and the king prawn/squid.

Liked the food but the description is incorrect as it states it’s a whole squid here it’s two pieces with 2 tiger prawns , no seaweed to be found. For £25 it wasn’t value for money hence 4 stars. It was well cooked though

The worst bar service I have ever received If you are polite and ask for a beer you will be ignored, the ignorant bar staff are only interested in serving the loud obnoxious bankers. I was ignored multiple times when just asking for a beer!

Nice place right in front of the Tate Modern (opposite bank) with good food and service. Good choice for both a drink and an easy dinner. Great location too.

Our trip to the Oyster shed was a little disappointing . I booked this lunch table expecting to have the Spring/Summer 3 course menu, only to be told I had to request this on booking? I went onto the website and there is nothing to that effect? We were seated at a table inside with lovely views but my chair was broken & the waitress looked at a loss and couldn't swap it for me. We enjoyed the haddock & chips very much & had reasonable service from 3 different staff but had to ask for some more curry sauce as ours came out stone cold. The bar was busy and there was a nice Friday lunchtime buzz. However i was appalled by the mess as I went through the doors at the back to go down a huge amount of stairs to get to the toilet! The back of the bar had a leak pooled over the floor & out to the restaurant, there were boxes of rubbish stacked near the exit doors, & on exiting the doors, top step down was broken!

This place is awesome in terms of everything. A scenic location by the banks of the river and the lovely ambience is the ultimate luxury. Food tasted great. Their Oysters is a must try. Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Valentino! you were amazing. The knowledge you hold is commendable. 10/10 for your service. Will definitely make a second visit.

While my daughter loved the risotto the ceviche and small plate of prawns, fish, and mussels was overcooked, oily, tasteless. Dirty glasses explained as a problem because they sit under the soda stream!! Better food, vibe and river views in so many other places. Very disappointed

I don’t usually do reviews…I was impressed. It’s a big place and they do well to handle the crowds. Food was very good ‘for a pub’. Service attentative without overbearing.

Food was excellent. We booked a table of 6 way in advance, and to our surprise we were allocated a table of 4, hence the 3 stars for service.

We were served by “Rayan” Very smiling and very professional waiter. Very good cocktail, and he knows how to speak French! Well located restaurant, very beautiful setting. I recommend ! 👍🏽😁

Booked out the Captain's Table for a surprise party, the staff were amazing prior to the event when making the booking and on the day helping with set-up and make sure all the guests had what they needed. The food was superb - burgers were definitely a fav. Great night had by all!

Catch it on a good day and you can have seats in the sun facing the river which is just gorgeous. On a sunny day, with wide window panels you can benefit from the beautiful weather and the view of the shard & River Thames. But, it gets busy very quickly. They have outdoor seating. Not had food there in a while so cannot comment. Not the cheapest place but it has benefits that others can't offer

Came here for a birthday event. Food was on point, as was the service. Used the upstairs bar, with on point service from the lovely Giota and Dimitris. Recommend. View on the Thames also recommended.
