The room should be refreshed, no one came for 10 days to empty the trash and clean up and ad extra toilet paper. The mattress was already worn out, it cracked. The heating did not work at night, I thought I would freeze.

Good little place. It's a small hotel that has the feeling of an independent hotel but you have the support facilities of a hotel chain if needed. Good price, good location and the friendly staff although usually not on site are contactable and closed by if you need them for anything.

Very reasonably priced, clean and pleasant room. I wasn't sent the check-in instructions but the helpful people on the other end of the phone re-sent them and I got into the building and the room without any problem. My main complaint is that I was travelling with a friend in a wheelchair so I rang before booking to ask if the room was on the ground floor. While the reply - 'yes' - was accurate, I was not informed that there are about ten steps to the front door. This should be clearly stated on the website. Fortunately, my friend can go up stairs, albeit with difficulty, and her wheelchair is lightweight so we were OK - but it could have been an insurmountable obstacle for someone less able and/or with a heavier wheelchair.

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel given the cost, but I was pleasantly surprised. Ok, the room was tired and the walk to the basement was a little bleak but here's what I got: -2 double beds and a single in a twin room -Clean bed linen -Clean room -Clean bathroom with toiletries and plenty of towels -Kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits -Electric fan -Loads of plug sockets -Free Wifi What I'm really impressed with though is the service. This hotel is unmanned but I got a call the day before my stay checking I had the email with the codes for the doors and WiFi code. Got another call on the evening of my stay checking I got in and everything was okay, as well as pointing out the 24 hour phone number in case of any problems. This is not a room you'd want to spend more than a night or two in, but perfect for a theatre trip or similar. Location is brilliant. I would definitely recommend as a budget stay.

Family’s living in rooms can be loud at all times of the evening ( 10pm and 6 am) with sitting in the rooms with their doors open which isn’t the hotels fault but no physical staff so couldn’t raise this there and then. Bathroom is small and had a potent smell and can smell like damp as no good ventilation in bathroom smell lingering when door is left open. Beds weren’t made well and had to be re done by me which wasn’t ideal Brilliant that there was a fridge in the room and a fan If you just need a room to sleep in it’s fine Perfect location near shops and food shops

I only gave them 1 star because zero and negative 5 stars was not available! This was an absolutely horrifying experience! The property turned out to be an old house with individual rooms for rent, not a traditional hotel as we expected. We were placed in a basement room with no air conditioning, and it was unbearably hot. There was no one to greet us or help us check in nor did they send us a code to get in. A random person staying had to help us figure out how to get a hold of someone from the property. The entire place had a terrible odor, like unwashed armpits. We were so uncomfortable that we had to sleep sitting up because we felt unsafe, and our kids were in tears. Other guests expressed the same concerns. I feel misled as this was presented as a regular hotel. This place is not safe—avoid it at all costs!

It's a self- check in hotel which suits me fine because I really don't want to hang around in hotel obvious when all I want to do is drop my bag off have a shower and go out in which I was able to do here the rooms were fully equipped clean functional very well worth the money for the part of London so in one in Arms reach of everything I always feel welcome and at home it's always quiet and you always have a peaceful night sleep if you're at the front of the hotel don't worry all the windows seem to be soundproofed from that busy road outside with highly recommend and would stay again

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL! It is an aparthotel with self-check-in. There is no reception, no breakfast, no key, access is by code There is no elevator You will receive a code by email, otherwise you must call the Oyo number I advise you to call first. Very good for a short stay, next to Hammersmith tube. Lots of restaurants, a supermarket and lots of outings nearby and 15 minutes from Victoria and 20 from St Pancras

Great stay for the price. Everywhere near the tube in this city gets price gouged, and this is among the more consumer-friendly locales. The walls are thin, and I legit heard a full on divorce in progress from my neighbors next door. It was pretty funny, but with the fan on I could drown out their shouting. The bed was very cozy, the location was great, the room was clean. The shower was stuck on rather hot water, but that's my only real criticism. The customer support line had a helpful lady. Overall, I'd recommend this spot. Moderate your expectations for the price and you'll likely be pleasantly surprised, as I was! Thanks, Sino

This hotel do not care about the customer's well-being. The rooms are very small and the pictures displayed on their website are false. After a long wait at the airport,I planned to have a very long shower but was disappointed because of the state of the room and hotel. Unfortunately, I had to leave immediately and request for a friend to book another better hotel as I had issues with my credit card. However, I have been requesting for my refund and still no proper response from the management of the hotel. This is so unfair. You messed up my holiday and Business meetings.Refund my money now.

The location was excellent, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. You get what you pay for. My single room was much smaller than expected and had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom drain. The room was not clean, and during my 4-night stay, I never saw any staff or housekeeping. The rooms are very close to each other, and you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. My room had no regular windows, just a skylight, which didn’t help much. The checkout time was 10am, but around 9am, someone suddenly and without warning opened my door, which was quite scary. That was the only time I saw any staff at the hotel. Overall, only the location was superb.

This was a very gross hotel. The bathroom looked like it hadn't even been cleaned, and the shower had no door. The room was small and the beds were very close together, and the floor was covered in hair. It's in a nice spot, close to the tube station and some other nice places, but I would rather not stay here again. Ever.

We hadn't been refunded the money either, as they stubbornly claimed we had. Even so, they manage to send several emails during our stay in London and ask how we are at the hotel!

The good: The best thing about the hotel was the location. The beds were also clean. Water and drinks available. The bad: The floors creaked every time you or someone in a neighbouring room moved. They provide towels but I found a hair on mine. The furniture looked like it was picked up off the road. Many issues with shower water. Flimsy hangers (one breaking on the first day). The window was broken so couldn't be closed. The soap available made our hair feel awful. The toilet fan didn't work. The ok: The texting and online system was a bit awkward but they usually responded fast.

Wir sind sehr entäuscht. Wir haben eine lange Buchung (eine Wiche) gemacht und extra angerufen, wie wir es machen sollen, da wir das Zimmer nach 5 Tagen wechseln müssen, da unsere Freundin uns besuchen kommt. Dann haben wir noch ein Tripple Zimmer gebucht wie uns empfohlen wurde von Oyo. Dieses Tripple Zimmer wurde uns nun ein paar Tage vor der Abreise grundlos gecancelt. Nach mehrfachem hin und herschreiben und anrufen hat man uns gesagt, dass sie die Stornierung vornehmen mussten, da sie Wartungsarbeiten vornehmen müssen. Komischerweise ist das Zimmer nun immernoch und auch weitere Zimmer auf booking verfügbar einfach 100 Euro teurer. Also geht es hier nur um Geld. Während des Telefonats hat man uns dann die anderen Oyo Hotels empfolen. Aber anstelle uns für denselben Preis den wir bezahlt haben entgegenzukommen, hat man uns einfach den 100 Euro teureren Preis genannt. Sehr Kundenunfreundlich. Wir kommen jedes Jahr für länger nach London und dachten wir hätten ein cooles Hotel für die Zukunft gefunden, dass wir gerne berücksichtigen möchten. Diesist nun jedoch nicht der Fall. Schade!

Leider sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Wenige Tage vor unserer Anreise wurde unsere Buchung ohne Angabe von Gründen storniert. Auf diversen Buchungsplatformen ist genau das Zimmer aber noch verfügbar (natürlich 100€ teurer da wir unsere Buchung vor Monaten gemacht haben). Wir werden ganz sicher nie mehr etwas bei euch buchen.

Avoid this hotel at all. Requested room cleaning service 3 times during my 7 day stay. No one came at all, even once. Had to stay without cleaning service for 7 days. And sink blocked since day 1, and no one came to repair. Whenever I called their number, someone answered from another place and told me they would tell the ground team. But actually, there is no reception, no staff on the ground.

Same as allowing people to go in and out at any time . Doors bang hard behind people and that’s all you can hear. Yes it’s cheap but not worth any of your money AT ALL

I enjoyed my stay at OYO Shepherd’s Bush. The location is 12 minutes away from the Hammersmith and City line. And it’s an enjoyable walk because you can discover different cafes and restaurants. The service from the staff on-site and in a different location was good. I was contacted before my stay to see if I’ll be arriving. I was contacted when I arrived, to make sure I was okay; and even after I checked out. Also, I had an minor problem in the room and the on-site staff came in less than 5 minutes to solve the problem. For a hotel located in London, it was truly a great experience.

It was a nice place. Communication was great though only on WhatsApp. The hotel is walkable distance of roughly 15 minutes from Hammersmith train and bus stations, shepherd’s bush market and Westfield mall. Bus stop is only 3 Mins away. No noise while in the room. Challenge was that they were not cleaning daily. Cleaning is done every after 3 days and you have to inform management. No lifts in the hotel and no receptio. We had to carry our own laggage to and from the room on second floor.

Even though we had no problem with our stay the hotel was extremely out dated, walls dirty and bathroom not so up to date, toilet seat was broken, and looks like a bad tiling job, bathroom need a bit of proper attention, and curtains beed a bit of washing or new ones but other than that we had a great stay, floors, beds and bathroom was clean. Some of the fixtures on the wall was at an angle and will annoy anyone. Thank you for the friendly service.

The rooms are extremely gross and dirty. The new and supposedly "clean" towels were dirty and there were found bugs on the bed several times (the first night i noticed little holes on the ned cover and ive heared thats caused by bedbugs). The bathroom is uncomfortable and the shower drain literally doesn't work, the shower end up filling with water and stays long after you're done. We told them about this problem and they supposedly fixed it but then the dame thing happened the next time we used the shower. Also fan doesn't work, is it supposed for be decoration because if not what's stopping them from fixing it. This place doesn't even have a lift or anything. So if you've got some heavy baggage or can't use a staircase for whatever reason this place is not for you (or for literally anyone becaus its disgusting). We weren't even told that this place didn't have a reception until we already paid. This place is so gross and you literally couldn't pay me to stay here again. The only good thing about this mortifying hotel is its location, it's close to some good stores and a great shopping center. However I guess that practically means that the only good thing about this place is when you're not in it. If you have an ounce of self respect and you enjoy idk being clean never even consider staying here.

El personal del hotel, ni está ni se le espera.Odisea para conseguir los códigos para poder entrar en la habitación que teníamos asignada, nos los tuvo que dar el anterior huésped o nos quedábamos en la calle. 5 días instalados y ni uno solo vinieron a cambiar toallas ni tan siquiera a reponer un triste papel wc. Not much good to say about this place, except for the location. It's fairly well connected. However, there is mold growing on the windows, the wall paper is peeling off the walls, the shower is leaking, the bathroom is dirty and full of other people's hairs, there is clear water damage behind the heater, and of course there doesn't seem to be any staff. While this latter point might have offered some flexibility during the check in process, it has been quite bothersome since then. It's impressive that 300 pounds can't even guarantee you a somewhere sanitary... But hey, the location is alright. We could also not sleep, as the neighbours barged in and out at all hours, and the wall separating our rooms seemed to be thin plaster. We could also hear them literally banging...

The hotel was mostly good. It is in an excellent location a few minutes from the centre of Hammersmith. However, it could do with a bit of a refurb. Some of the mattresses in our room need to be replaced and the bathroom needs a spruce up. We lost hot water but that was sorted the same day after contacting the service team.

I’m French I went to this OYO hôtel for 3 nights, i booked with opodo and it was a really good place to stay. My room was clean with a very good presentation. I didn’t have any particular problems with the self check-in or anything else. If we have a problem we can call the hotel service and they answer quickly and they’re very helpful. The hotel is in a really good place with everything around and only 3 underground stations far from the center of London (touristic spot). I recommend. Would not recommend to anyone. At first everything was fine and we were contacted prior to confirm the stay. Rooms were cheap and cheerful. A few hours after we checked in we received a call to stay there was a water pipe explosion and we had to return and evacuate (no offer to stay at an alternative hotel - we were stranded in London). Upon returning, there was several refugees in various rooms with beds being put up. It looks as if we were kicked out to make room for refugees. Review is not a reflection on the refugees but instead the hotel management who made the decision and left us stranded in London. Shady stuff.

Reported the to the Hammersmith Trading Standards office and their Environmental Health Office. Watch this space for OYO's standard response and platitudes. They do F...all to resolve. The problems. We had no hot water whilst we stayed, even after complaining. This was the same for other rooms after speaking to other guests. It rained whilst we were there and the window leaked so much that a spout was created and leaked enough to make another shower, shame that one wasn't hot either. After complaining, we were offered no compensation as they said the room looked 'fine' after checking it a week later.

Definitely DO NOT recommend. Woke up with BED BUG bites all over my body. I emailed the reservations team about getting a refund for my stay which they refused to give despite sending pictures of my bites. The fire alarm went off and we all had to wait outside for at least an hour before someone came to turn it off. Tiny room and most likely a BED BUG INFESTED mattress!

The room was adequately cleaned, however there were other issues. We were provided mugs to make coffee’s but no kettle, there was no hot water until the 24 hour helpline was called and the windows were faulty and so remained open all night, meaning we were cold during the night. All of these issues weren’t addressed in a timely manner and i’m very disappointed with the stay. Wouldn’t recommend if u want a hassle free stay.

First the good - smooth check in and they were accommodating Room too small, ventilation grossly inadequate, hot, sound easily travels on your floor, and the worst part was the mattress. It was 2 spring mattresses stacked one on another, and you just sank in it and went into fetal position. Couldn’t sleep the entire night due to the sinking mattress and the heat, and work the next day I had a terrible back ache from the curve

Zimmer und Bett sehr klein für zwei Personen,keine Klimaanlage die funktioniert und das bei einen Zimmer unter dem Dach .Bett war sauber ,aber quitscht bei Bewegung sehr laut .Beim Kühlschrank lief das Wasser aus.Altes Brot und Marmelade im Kühlschrank:(((( Jalousie der Dachfenster defekt.Waren froh auf der schnelle etwas zu bekommen, da unser gebuchtes Hotel seit 2 Jahren geschlossen war.Auch das noch.Und nun für 5 Nächte noch sehr viel Geld bezahlt.Ist einfach nicht das Geld wert und wir sind sehr enttäuscht. Die Lage dafür ist aber zentraler.

The room was under the roof, we couldn't open the windows so it was really hot. We had 2 fans but none of them was efficient. When we arrived we had to sleep in a room without towels and with the previous guest sheets because none cleaned the room and the number of the hotel didn't work. It took us a whole day to have it cleaned. A homeless guy was sleeping in the room next to ours when the person who booked it arrived. At the beginning there was no wifi at all. The structure has no emergency stairs and none is there if you need something. They "clean" your room only when you arrive: we stayed there one week with the same towels and sheets and with the only bin of the room completely full. There was no space to move inside the room and in the bathroom: we had to dry ourselves inside the shower because there was no room outside. The doors don't really close and let in a LOT of light. There was MOLD on my mattress. We also had to buy toilet paper cause there was not a single roll. In general the conditions of the structure are not hygienic at all and I'd rather sleep in a hostel then staying again at the OYO Sino. This hotel should be closed.

We rented a room for 4 people for 5 nights. During our stay, the room did not get cleaned once, meaning we ran out of toilet paper pretty quickly. Moreover, the wifi did not work when we arrived, so the second day we called and turned out we had to use a whole other network. The call was handled pretty nice and efficiently, but it still kind of sucked we had to call in the first place. The bed sheets weren't big enough for the beds, and the big bed didn't have a night light. Water pressure was kind of bad and sometimes there would only be cold water, and other times there would only be hot water. There was nog bathmat and only one towel per person (because the room didn't get cleaned in between). The place was in a nice location and pretty affordable, but I still wouldn't really recommend it.

Une honte de proposer ce type de logement, nous aurions été mieux dans une chambre de prison, lit en fer, matelas épuisé et usé, douche sentant l'urine, de l'eau une fois sur deux, ce type d'établissement devrait être interdit. Simplement une honte, j'espère que ce type d'établissement sera contrôlé et fermé.

Hôtel catastrophique ! Le soir de notre arrivé nous n’avons pas pu prendre de douche car il y avait pas d’eau , la chambre n’a jamais été faite tout le long de notre week-end et un jour il y avait pas d’électricité. L’hygiène est à revoir. Et il y’a pas de réception, si vous avez un problème vous devez appeler c’est pas professionnel. Cet hôtel prétend être un hôtel 3 étoiles mais c’est faux rien ne va. Le prix est élevé pour rien il y a zéro service.

Booked via booking.com for 2 nights. Self check in/out was very easy and details provided in advance. The room was simple, clean and had all the necessities, very worth the affordable price, compared to other options. Great location within 15min of under and overground stations. Only concern is how often room code is changed and front door wasnt always locked, not sure how easy it is to gain access as a stranger. Otherwise, good value for money overall.

Didn’t go, booked wrong location in error and couldn’t get refund. Website sucks.I’m sure I got redirected in the booking process.the hotel I thought I booked doesn’t exist. Went there and it was a homeless shelter. PS - the hotel replied to this post that they were sorry, took pride, yadayada and wanted to make good. I emailed them a week ago explaining my experience… no response.

It's not a bad location at all, and ok to get your head down for the night. But I really did not appreciate being woken up by maintenance knocking on the door at 8.30am asking for a plaster board. The room wasn't the best, not enough room to swing a cat in the bathroom.

I'd recommend the hotel to any budget seeking party. Customer service acted very quickly to rectify the problem we had with trickling toilet. We were moved to a better room in 10 minutes after phoning them. Place is good, clean and quiet, very convenient for travelling and visiting landmarks and parks. Good shopping facilities and restaurants around. I'd stay in Oyo, Hammersmith again when I'm back in London.

Very disappointing stay. I could not wait to leave as soon as arrived. No bathing soap or bathroom gel provided. The room was not cleaned throughout my stay. Terrible stench in both the bathroom and room that made me almost choke with irritation! Worst of all, there was no reception or customer service to direct complaints to. The customer service line rang perpetually with no human answering my calls. None of the requests I had placed while booking was met. Coffee/tea and desk/chair claimed to be provided in the property description turned out to be non existent. Very misleading advertisement and a waste of money as I have gotten much better service at lower cost in better areas of London. Beware! Will never book again!

Very bad experience, wouldn't recommend it for anyone. We received the room number & key code via text message, but once we got there we found somebody else's belongings in the room and somebody in the toilet. There was no reception or staff to help us so we called the customer service number. Our call went to India, and the person on the phone wasn't able to help us, just promised to contact the manager. After waiting for a while we found a cleaner who had let the other guest in that room because they didn't remember their key code. She offered to remove that person's luggage from the room and let us in instead. She was also very happy to tell us that in fact there was nobody in the toilet - the toilet was just broken and therefore making noise. We refused to get into that room, since it didn’t make us comfortable to think that - somebody had been in that room and it wasn’t cleaned after them; - someone most likely has the key code and will be able to enter the room at any time; - the person whose luggage would be removed would come back at some point and be in the same situation than us, finding us from his room; - the cleaner apparently lets people in any room upon a request, without checking more on it; - toilet in that room was broken. Apparently the manager had been hanging out on the yard at our arrival, and clearly heard us talking on the phone about the issue, but decided to flee from the site. Finally we got hold of him, who then said that we had canceled our reservation (which we didn’t). Check-in started at 3pm, and at 4pm (just half an hour before we arrived) we had been sent an email saying that the hotel had canceled our stay. We already had the key codes, so we were able to enter the room and it was just about luck that another person happened to be there before us. The manager kept pretending that he didn’t know anything about the cancellation, until I asked him - “the name on the email is you, isn’t it?” He got quiet and hung up the phone. Needless to say, after all this we left and stayed in another hotel instead. Based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, absolutely terrible customer service and very poor management.

Zeer slecht hotel!! Absoluut niet hygiënisch: gebarsten lavabo, vieze afvoerputjes, stinkende ijskast, vlekken op de stoel… Enkel het bed was gelukkig proper (dekbedovertrek was wel gescheurd). We kregen slechts 1 handdoek per persoon voor een verblijf van 4 dagen en er werd nooit gekuist in de kamer. Ook 1 wc rol voor die tijd is veel te weinig!! De kamer was klein, maar dat was op zich voor ons niet zo een probleem. Dit was wel een probleem aangezien er geen enkele plek voorzien was om iets van kleren te leggen, waardoor we onze koffer in het midden van de kamer moesten leggen (en helemaal geen ruimte om te bewegen meer hadden). We hebben verschillende keren geprobeerd om het hotel te contacteren (er is geen receptie of dergelijke, alles is automatisch), maar eens we iemand aan de lijn hadden was deze niet bereid om een oplossing te voorzien. Kortom: absoluut het geld niet waard!! Hier blijf je beter weg!!

Firstly it smelt like mold as soon as we got in. When we went to our room, someone else was there. Felt unsafe and tried to contact custom service, but didn't get good help. Custom service was bad and wasn't helpful. Manager was unhelpful and disrespectful. They were gonna take the other customers luggage out just like that and tell us it's available, but they didn't seem to understand why that wasn't ok. We were just disappointed how they handled things in there

My recent experience at the bar at Riverside Studios was incredibly frustrating due to the inconsistent and poor service from the staff. When I first got a table outside, one of the waiters rudely told me there was no service for the outdoor seating area and that I had to order inside. However, just minutes later, a different server came by and confirmed that outdoor table service was available by ordering via a barcode or directly with her. When I confronted the original waiter about the contradictory information, his excuse was that outdoor service was simply up to the discretion of each individual server - a policy that makes absolutely no sense for a bar/restaurant. How are customers supposed to know what to expect in terms of service? The waiter's dismissive "oh she must be a nice person" comment about his coworker who offered outdoor service was also unprofessional and rude. It suggests he simply couldn't be bothered to provide that level of service himself. Adding to the poor experience, for the next 30 minutes after our interaction, I watched this same waiter simply standing at the bar playing on his phone rather than attending to customers. His laziness and lack of care for his job were glaringly apparent.Between the inconsistent service policies, the rude staff, and the lack of proper training from management, I can't recommend the bar at Riverside Studios. The sloppy service and inability to get a straight answer from staff ruined what should have been a relaxing outdoor drinking experience. Avoid this place unless you enjoy frustration and confusion, as there are some of London's best pubs less than 100 m away along the river.
