Had a great experience yesterday at GBK white city, wanted the cheese sauce and truffle mac and cheese, but being valentines day those items were sold out. My pregnant wife didn't fancy having a veg burger but wanted the lighter bean melt instead asked the waiter and said the melt was only available till 5pm. Spoke to the manager Andrea and she was able to make an exception for my wife. Really happy with the service and food all round. Thanks Andrea again!

Gourmet burger more like rubbish burger. The burger £10 it was as small as a biscuit 🍪 Fries halfway filled Toilet had poop on the floor Food wait so long Water £3.50 Fries £4.50 And 12.5 percent service charge The food was like eating flavoured air so disappointed 😔.It was freezing in the restaurant a little toddler was shivering then his parents put on a coat and he was still shivering he ate a adult sized burger he was still hungry he ate adult sized fries he was still hungry so he ate another burger he was still hungry

I visited this place today and was totally disappointed with the staff's behavior. I waited for my order for more than 40 minutes when the place was not even half full. Then just for a pint of beer I had to wait another 20 minutes, all because I asked the waitress where my order was.

Dated decor. Old furniture. Really cold as a draft. We moved tables three times. Waited a long time for food. The burgers were tasteless. The first time I've only eaten half. On the way home I was sick. On getting indoors a serious visit to the lavatory. A business hates a bad review, yet imagine how ill you've made me feel. My partner wasn't ill yet needed gaviscon for discomfort, heartburn and belching.

Came on a Friday night - seemingly only about 10 tables (about 10% of the restaurant) in use but we were turned away abruptly because they said they were “too busy”. Not sure who made this call but terrible terrible and insensitive customer relations.

I dined around 3pm on 28/11/2024. Unfortunately the burger was burnt around the edges which affected the taste and was unpleasant. Good, attentive service from the seemingly mild mannered gentleman Ajith though.

Had to wait over half an hour for 1 burger and chips. No warning that it would take a while when I ordered, no update as time went on. Lots of deliveroo orders being collected but customers in the restaurant kept waiting. I asked for a refund and went somewhere else that had my food ready in 10 mins

Came here in the afternoon overall lovely food for reasonable prices however extremely overpriced milkshakes although large quantity not worth the money. Charged 12.5% service charge for what reason I don't know the service was mediocre HOWEVER the food and burgers was honestly very nice overall would recommend going here but with a group rather than yourself service charge is not worth it. Good location however right in to Westfield perfect for a bit of shopping afterwards!

I would usually write a review regarding the food, which was fantastic I should add, but no, this is for the manager, Andrea. What can I say, Andrea you a credit to GBK and the F&B industry. We visited the Westfield GBK yesterday (10/11/24). As soon as entered we were greeted with a wonderful welcome and immediately engaged with our children, which is a breathe of fresh air! She was extremely polite, professional and inviting. Never have I come across an employee of a restaurant as welcoming, especially from a Manager! Throughout our meal my wife and I praised Andrea for her professionalism, can do attitude and customer service. For our son to be immediately comfortable with someone takes a lot, and Andrea surpassed all expectations. I would be sincerely grateful if this feedback is provided to Andrea; due to this amazing experience we will certainly be returning! THANK YOU!

I had the gluten-free smash burger, and it was amazing! I also have a peanut allergy, and they were able to facilitate me! Definitely worth a drop in for lunch or dinner 😎🤌

Absolutely horrific experience with this restaurant. Ordered on UberEats, it took 1 hour to even be prepared. The burger was totally undercooked as you can see the meat is literally pink - a big no no for smash burgers. The fries were starchy and uninspiring. All in all a really sad meal and experience, do not order from here on UberEats unless you want absolutely terrible, cold food which poses potential health hazards.

WORST BURGER OF OUR LIFE. Mc Donald’s burger are better and cheaper. Bread and patties speachless in a truly negative sense. Didn’t imagine patty of meat was thinner than 5 millimetres. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) in Westfield London, and I must say I was quite impressed with my experience. I swear what I’ve had in this place must’ve been the greasiest and blandest burger that could possibly exist. Funny enough, the fries weren’t that greasy, but the burger was literally soaked in oil & fat. Inedible to say the least, disgusting to be more honest. First time trying this joint and will never come back again.

Had the lunch special very tasty. The cocktails however where terrible and at £8.50 each I didn't expect the espresso martini to be out of a bottle it look liked dish water I did complain but they didn't seem bothered

I have been coming to gbk for like 10 years. They have changed their menu like 10 times. First they removed the monkey nuts and now the sweet potato fries. Has become five guys level and no longer gourmet. Been disappointed for the past 3 times so this is the last time I’m coming back.

A lot of the food we asked for were sold out. We took my daughter for her birthday and she was excited to get a milkshake but they were sold out. She said that it was fine cos she's used to McDonald's. The actual burgers didn't really match the pictures but it tasted alright. The fries were nice as well. We would've been better in a pub getting some fresh fish n chips. The server was nice but sounded like they didn't want to be there. Just smiled the way through and payed and left. Also highly expensive

Terrible time at the Westfield White City and it was absolutely terrible. Multiple tables sent their food back for being undercooked, despite the restaurant being relatively empty service was so slow. We ordered burgers with toppings but seems like the chefs just make cheese burgers and when you ask for your missing toppings nothing materialises. The food also tasted below average. They should close this franchise down

We ordered 3 burgers and two fries. All of them were super tasty especially the smash burger with blue cheese and korean burger. The place was busy but we still have been looked after. Happy to return back again. Staff was lovely.

No no no ….. 15 dirty tables I was there 45 mins and it was not busy !!!! , my table no31 no napkins asked twice for them, no form of good customer service in there, it makes sense they ask people to pay first, because the £29.00 I paid for a bunless meal so was not worth it!

Me and my partner have been a loyal customer of GBK in the last 4-5 years. Usually our venue choice was either Chiswick or Westfield. As Chiswick don’t do Delivery, we ordered from Westfield. Unfortunately the quality has gone dawn hill, and recently the menu has been changed ( smashed patties, etc ). The last two deliveries we had from Westfield were not good. First my partner order the smashed option of the burger WITHOUT CHEESE.. and it came with cheese… ( the burger it’s a Fast Food style ) . The second order we made, we opted for the old 6oz style…) because there’s no “ Blue Cheese “ burger option .. we “ built “ our own. The patty tasted like it was cooked ages ago and reheated.. “ Pink and Juicy “ is just an option/ myth, what you get it’s burnt burger. The topping inside such as avocado tasted more like lemon and the bacon felt like it was cooked long time ago, and kept in refrigerator then added to the burger. Overall an awful experience, not be ordering again with them!

Very expensive, poor quality and small sizes

Walked into GBK Westfield shepherds bush at roughly 7pm on Saturday 29th June and was seated pretty quickly. A young lady took our order and drinks came swiftly after. While waiting for our food I noticed the table next to us had all staff coats, bags etc... just left on the table beside us, which I thought was odd. (Surley they should have somewhere to put their belongings) An older lady waitress came beside us on the table where bags and coats were with a tray of knifes, which must have just been washed as she was wiping them to put away. As she got up to place the knifes in the draw a few dropped which she picked up and placed on the till where the draws for the knifes are kept. I watched the older waitress put all the knifes away and to my surprise also placed the knifes that dropped on the floor into the draw with the other clean knifes. When I told her she had put dirty knifes that fell on the floor in the draw she said she didn't. I didn't say anything more but noticed she rushed over to her manager to inform him I said something to her. When he came over and I told him, he immediately said no she didnt however, when i told him to look back at his CCTV footage, he kept telling me he will investigate the matter, how the food hygiene is 5 stars and they are very clean. The whole time he was speaking to me the waitress continued to fill the draw up with more knifes, so I asked the manager why he was allowing her to continue putting knifes in the draw why not tell her to re wash them as now she doesn't know which are dirty, he shouted over to her and got her to bring the knifes out the back. To which I said I would like the bill. In all if you want to eat food from this place where cutlery is dropped on the floor then given to you to eat then go ahead, I will not be eating from there again

GBK was one of my favourite places since 2016. In the last few years I have noticed a decline of food quality. Sadly today's lunch was pretty disappointing too. Instead of Korean BBQ Burger I was served with "Sad Schnitzel Burger". Just have a look at the picture, I believe it speaks for itself. Sweet Potatoes fries were fine.

Food was perfect but the service was somewhat questionable. Henry was our waiter who didn't really pay much attention to our table. It took him a long time to come and take our food order. He seemed to be rushing us, as when we finished our food he asked straightaway if we wanted the bill eventhough we still had drinks on our table. This was the first time I've experienced this in a restaurant and we didn't really feel welcome. On the other hand it was good to see that the other staff members had a good work attitude and were working hard.

Food was good, as well as atmosphere - however we repeatedly asked for water and another drink yet it was never fulfilled or given to us after asking twice. Staff were not enthusiastic.

This has gone severely down hill. GBK used to be one of my favourite places to eat - I loved their skinny fries and cheese and bacon burger. My last good experience was May 2022 at lakeside, but I stopped going shortly thereafter due to the prices becoming ridiculous. I received a half price promotion email recently and was excited to go back but was left really disappointed. Even half price our meal was not cheap, and it seems to me that costs are being cut beyond reason. The burger quality seemed noticeably poorer, I added avocado to the burger which was a tiny serving and had clearly been premixed with lemon juice or another preservative which left it tasting not fresh and unpleasant. And there was no Hei hei salt in the restaurant at all, which was one of my favourite flavours! The service was fine and atmosphere slightly dull. To me, GBK is a former gem thats charm and quality has been lost to becoming such a massive chain.

I'd never thought I'd find myself reviewing a GBK but here we are. Though my friend and I only stopped by for a quick meal at a well-known trusty burger joint, our experience at this particular franchise surpassed all expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Elia. She took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The standard of food was also well above par for your average GBK. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming through Westfield, and I will certainly be returning soon.

I used to love GBK and have eaten there a lot but not for a few years so thought i would try it again as i was in the area. Menu extremely poor and no kiwiburger or anything really different. Service excellent. However i wont return as it is just another burger bar and nothing that feels very different

Onion rings were peppery, no fresh juices, limited selection of soft drinks and all fruit drinks are fizzy, burger no longer cooked according to preference. Not even salt and pepper on the tables. It used to be a treat coming here and the service was excellent but it is no longer much better than McDonald’s, except for the meat. Although it was lunchtime the restaurant was quite empty.

Staff were friendly and attentive and place looked clean. I ordered the lunchtime deal of a strip burger and chips with an extra side of wings. The tenders for the burger were very dry and tasteless with the wings having an unpleasant odour which made me think it was under seasoned. It’s great that the chicken served is halal but I feel like the lunch options were not worth the money considering the burger is smaller than the full menu.

We have been in GBK(westfield today around 15:45,not a busy day. The staff were really rude!!! I dont know how they recruite this person! Never go to this branch

Had a beef burger on gluten free bun with vegan American cheese. It was absolutely delicious. There was some sort of relish inside as well, all the flavors complimented each other really well. I had sweet potato fries which comes with a sauce. I chose the garlic sauce and that is the best garlic sauce I have ever tasted. Will definitely be going back

Food here is good, however the service leaves a lot to be desired both in terms of speed and quality. Went into the restaurant only to workout ourselves you had to order digitally. To add to that the wait time is pretty lengthy.

We walked and was given a table and sat there for 15 minutes. No staff member acknowledged us. We were not asked for any drinks or even a sorry for the wait but we will be with you. We was completely ignored so we got up and walked out. Terrible terrible service

Went here for valentine's day. Burgers and fries were all very tasty and reasonably priced. The dessert menu needs a huge improvement as we got nothing due to lack of selection. Cocktails were okay, but a little basic. The hot honey butter turned out to be a red sauce, which is not what we were expecting. They should have more description on what some of the items are . Overall we'd come back here for the nice burgers.

I went to GBK at the Brunswick centre on the 29th Feb with my partner in the early evening. It was very disappointing. The service was poor and one of the waitresses spent more time on their phone than they did checking on the customers. Our food took a very long time to arrive (over 45 mins) and the my burger and fries were cold, whereas my partners was warm. The restaurant wasn't busy and the people seemed to be prioritising takeaway items over ours. No one checked on us, and we were so short on time, that we just paid on left.

Ordered vegan bean burger but didn't taste nice, strange chemical smoke taste. Chips good. I think for people who eat meat good place to go with family or friends.

Probably the worst place I have been to recentl We waited for 45min for an order and the food came cold, then for the bill another 20min because no one had time to come over. The waitress or manager was very unpleasant, she didn't even try to explain to us why there are such delays etc.

Ive been to many GBKs branches. This branch is the one I mostly visited so far and this is not because of a good quality but due to the safe and simple burgers. Chickens are halal here. There are not a lot of options for starters at all. The price is quite high compared to what you receive and sharing options are none(almost!!) If you take out anything from your burger, you need to pay extra for any alternatives or put some free sauce instead!! Like you take out the bacon, and what you get is more sauce!!! There is no any special about GBK but what is very good is the option of going no bun with your burger and it comes with a very good size of home slaw and salad. i can say this is the only thing I would like to go there once in awhile.

The staff were extremely friendly customer service was impeccable. The food was love at first bite the Lemonade was wonderful. 100 percent I am coming back . Not to mention I got free ice cream 😋

We are not stranger to GBK came back from Dubai just for few days and we had to get a stop here. I went for the Korean burger kimchi is just hot enough amazing flavours the only disappointments is that the peanut butter on the menu. Also big shout out to the manager excellent service

I went to this place with my friend today and while we were standing there waiting to be seated, the waiter was busy with some delivery ubereat drivers, then when he finished with them he said sorry its only 2 of us today indicating we should go elsewhere! Terrible welcome. I'm glad I didn't spend my money in this place!

Always reliably good food. Table service was a bit slow in this restaurant, it was unclear whether they wanted you to order from the counter. It was also weirdly quiet for around 7pm but that meant we could choose where to sit. However, the food came in good time and was great.

I like this place when I go out with the kids. Being able to order with the app takes some of the stress away. A pity that it’s quite cold in the winter

Came here few months ago. Waited patiently inside by the door to be noticed and seated, no effort was made, stood there for at least 3-5 minutes before finally the person made effort but ignored us and spoke to someone who had arrived after us. Walked right out, and went to bills instead.

We’re no strangers to GBK and our trip this time was as good as it always is. Plus, with the 25% Tastecard discount you can’t go wrong. We order the Classic Beef Burger with extra bacon, the Korean BBQ chicken Burger, Skin-on Fries and Halloumi with Basil Pesto and Pomegranate seeds. All the dishes tasted great; however, our favourite was the Korean BBQ Chicken Burger. although it was a tad messy the tasted really outweighed that. The Chunky Skin-on Fries tasted nice, but we really miss the old matchstick fries they use to serve (hopefully they’ll bring them back).
