Great music, awesome vibe, and very skilful staff!

Amazing night!! Cass was an amazing server, recommend the best drinks based on our personal taste and amazing service. Good chats and lots of banter! Best service I’ve had in Oxford in a long time :)

Really love this place, staff are always friendly including bouncers. Drinks are nice and it’s a nice safe environment unlike Atik. Tend to stay here for most night outs now.

Rupali was amazing. We were given top notch service by Rupali all night and the best, most customised drinks. She was so attuned to what would suit our tastes!!

Gentleman behind bar made some good cocktails - but, there was also a female member of staff who was exceptionally rude. If you are having a bad shift, I get it, but don’t take it out on customers!! Despite the man doing a good job, her attitude really put a dampener on things!

I loved this bar so much, I will definitely come back on the next visit to Oxford, wonderful cocktails, the ambience and the songs is really great.

Great atmosphere, good selection of cocktails

Seemed like a decent enough place but I had a very poor experience with the bar staff as they made two daft mistakes with my orders. First of all I ordered a gin and tonic and received a gin and soda (who would actually drink that?!) eventually I managed to get that changed and not get charged for this. After that stressful ordeal, I decided to order a double laphroaig with a dash of cold water - sounds simple enough- I received a small dash of coke - drink completely ruined and forced to pay for it. One would think after ballsing up the first order the staff would listen more carefully!

The bar is big and has a lot of space to sit. There are 2 entrances, the main one in the corner of the main street and a second one going to the bus station. Cocktails are good 👍

- Was told to take my hat off when I walked in as they have a 'no hat on weekends' policy. I must have asked the bouncer 4 times why they had this rule, and each time he just repeated that they had a no hat policy on weekends. Didn't know brick walls were being hired as bouncers. - £9 is very steep for cocktails in my opinion! - Absolutely 0 air conditioning - walls were literally WET from condensation and no windows were open. - Absolutely packed on weekends, but quieter during weekdays - Decor is really lovely though and quite classy - Music is decent but feels a lot too hype for a sit-down bar, especially as no dance floor is provided

Lovely place located by the airline bus station and a 5 minute walk from the train station. Perfect first stop for a drink when off for a holiday :) I was aslo surprised by the great deals they had. Bar staff very chatty and friendly!

Lovely place. popped in last night after going to the theatre. drinks were nice and the bar itself was lovely. needs improvement on the staff. no one looked happy, everyone looked miserable. it wasn't busy as it was Sunday night but one member of staff in a white shirt and jeans seemed insistent on following me and my husband round the pub where ever we sat and felt like he was constantly watching us, not sure why we were only having a few drinks after the theatre, we weren't drunk and rowdy. Will probably go again but not in a rush

Fantastic free pour cocktails; just like you'd get on your holidays in the Caribbean. The music is great and the staff are quick to serve customers.

Nice bar in Oxford ideally placed for the coach station.

My friend and I were asked to leave our table and go sit on a tiny table next to the toilets just because a group of young rowdy men came in and they wanted our table, even though the table didn't have a reservation on it. So rude of the staff and we left as soon as we finished our first drinks.

Went for friend's birthday celebration. The bartender is very kind and recommended me a really nice non-alcoholic drink! -- A friend of mine lost his jacket here, though. It seemed like someone took it on purpose(?) So, probably best to stay alerted all times.

I love this place !! The music is incredible, the interior is so cool and the drinks are super cheap for students. It really could not be more of a perfect place for socials and pre's. I love the interior and the space you can have to sit down and chat. I love this place so so much. Will be telling my friends about here. Awesome place to hang out as it felt really cosy .

Had a great time in the bar. My girlfriend and I booked and we wouldn't have managed to get a seat otherwise. The staff were friendly and made the drinks quickly. Drinks were delicious! The staff dealt with a pretty angry drunk man incredibly calmly and professionally. All round great experience!

The OXO bar, I did it find fun to go. It has a nice ambiance, pleasantly laid out decour. The outside area is under cover using oak tables and red canopy's, which is quite relaxed. Drinks menu looks fine and various cocktails. I will try this venue again.

Just happened to pop into OXO on a recent visit to Oxford, as it was across the road from where we had dinner. I'm so glad we did! It's beautiful, cosy feeling cocktail bar with beautiful ambience and atmosphere. The drinks were really good!

The hidden gem of Oxford. This quaint, boutique hotel is the perfect place to rest your head after a day exploring Oxford’s rich history. The staff are lovely and good humoured and the rooms are beautiful, with antique furniture and freshly painted walls. I can’t wait to come back!

What a lovely little bar! Staff were friendly and accomodating, and even the bouncers on the door were really nice and helpful. Cocktails were that good we pretty much stayed all afternoon and night and made our way through the menu! Would recommend that anybody visiting Oxford should treat themselves to a nice cocktail in lovely surroundings with beautiful people....oxo bar was by far one of the best in the area!

My partner and I couldn't find a table anywhere in Oxford for a drink this evening, the male member of staff who was greeting guests kindly seated us on a large table that wasn't booked for an hour or so...we really appreciated this. All of the staff were polite and cheerful. Great atmosphere - highly recommend!

Rude and uncompromising waitress

The female staff member was openly discriminatory and rude. We want to support the industry and are always great humoured guests who neck our drinks and have a good time, but using covid as an excuse to be unreasonable and rude just needs to be left in 2020. Bad vibes!

My daughter and partner went here on their first day out together after the lockdown. Felt sorry for them as it was a big let down due to a very rood manager called Mario, and the very very expensive wine ! . The waitresses was nice and polite and professional that mad up for the moody manager. 2 stars for the waitresses. Thanks for the reply. Your reply isn't true , and the drink requested was for a birthday gesture, this was going to be paid for! ... also it was 1 table change from a dark area. Never mind won't be back.

The drinks were great and they did an excellent job preparing the place for Covid with everyone spread apart. Staff were very attentive and overall it was just an excellent experience, I'll certainly be back. :)

Great place to stop and grab a cocktail

Great bar, good cocktails and reasonably priced! Came here for an evening and it was a nice atmosphere and a two for one cocktails deal on the house cocktails. Music was not too loud so I could still have a nice chat and it was an enjoyable evening.

It's always been dead in here whenever I've been. The cocktails are all right but not as good as The Duke of Cambridge down the road. Good place to go for a drink if you're eating on George Street or waiting for a bus, but maybe not worth a detour

Stumbled across this bar whilst making our way to dinner. Great modern cocktail bar with nice decor. Two bars are situated on different floors making the service quicker. Fantastic cocktail menu, lots of classics and new mixtures. It was happy hour early on Saturday evening so that was a bonus, drinks were £5, otherwise cocktails started at around the £8 mark. Good place for gatherings and tables can be reserved in advance. Great bar and I'll be returning.

Had 5 different cocktails so far, all perfect. Speakers are very good, DJ playlist great for a Friday night. Happy hour joy!
