Enjoyed an evening with Crown Kareoke, plenty of room being very spacious. Over all a good place for an evening out

Was going to have a meal here but tried phoning to check on a couple of things first but no-one EVER answers the phone. What's the point In having a phone number, displaying a phone number if it's just going to be ignored. Did leave a message but no-one rings you back either.

The service was so slow, in the end we had to ask for it to be put in a takeaway container as we had 8 mins to get back to work and still no food had left the kitchen for us. I would understand if it was busy, but it wasn't. The chips when we got them were lovely but the ciabatta steak and cheese was below average. Never again

Good beer, friendly staff, relaxing place to meet friends.

Service and staff are great. We were served by Becky who was lovely. Food quality is on par for a local pub. Would very much recommend for a casual drink or meal, the atmosphere is very relaxed.

We went for a family meal for my husband and mother in laws birthday on 07/08 and the staff were amazing. When we went to order the food the gentleman was awesome, he pointed out offers to save us money which was much appreciated. Very friendly and speedy service. Lots for the kids to keep them occupied, little mini snakes and ladders games and kids chairs and colouring. The lady that bought the food over was very pleasant and friendly also. Food was very nice and so affordable, my mother in law couldn't believe the price of all of us eating for less than £50 there was 3 adults and a child and baby. That included drinks. Lovely place, recommended and will be back again! Thank you:)

The pub was almost empty but service with a smile good came quickly and was hot pub clean and fresh deffo come again

Great local pub, filled with character and the burgers are great.

We arrived on a Sunday about 6pm. The place was deserted. We sat in a booth and the kids got some games out. Unfortunately they're all incomplete. The food came out quickly, but cold. We had to ask for more garlic bread as they had burnt ours to a crisp. My husband had the tex mex sharer and had to send half of it back at the end( as they didn't come to check if the food was ok) the chicken in the taco was grey and smelled sour ( he never sends food back). The kids pizza is a Chicago town margarita. The whole experience was a shambles. Then myself and my husband were ill the next morning. My parents said that's what happened to them when they last went aswell, they got very poorly the next morning. Unfortunately we won't be returning and I would suggest avoiding this place like everyone else seems to have already done. It's like a ghost town for a reason.

As this Greene King pub/restaurant is my local I am ashamed to say I don't use it as much as I should. A mate of mine and I booked in for Sunday lunch and we both enjoyed our Roast Beef. It came with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire Pudding, broccoli, peas, carrots and a seperate jug of tasty gravy. It all went down very well and I will visit more often in future.

Just tried the Katsu Chicken Fries, from the the small plates on the 🆕 menu. **** AMAZING****

Friendly staff, Food good value and nice.

If I could give 0stars for food I would. Not sure how they can call the cook a chef. Mac N Cheese came out cold was then reheated in a microwave wasn't a fresh one. Chicken on mix grill wasn't cooked properly. My daughters kids meal had plastic in it which could of been extremely dangerous. The salad tasted days old wasn't fresh not sure how anyone can mess up a salad🤦. The cheese sauce on the Mac n Cheese was white not yellow and runny and watery disgusting. Waitress had a rude manner and didn't apologise or care much. Wouldn't even let my dog eat here if I had one. Defo won't b going back anytime soon not sure how one place can get so many things wrong. So called "Chef"

We were a walk in of 6 at around 1.30pm in the easter half term, staff were very accommodating and we easily found a table. We were a right pain in the bum and order several small plates and sharers. Staff were informative and explained that not everything would come out at once which we were fine with but everything came out in good time, hot and fresh. Chef done amazing! All staff were helpful, attentive and friendly despite us being a pubs worst walk in! Thanks everyone, keep up the good work and we shall definitely return 🙂

A lovely cosy place. With outside seating. And next door for Morrisons supermarket !..my husband wishes we had this set up where we live, he would come food shopping with me everytime..🤣😂🤩

Wonderful staff, and brilliant service.

The food was basic and just poor. The quality was awful and very bland and completely lacked flavour. One member of staff clearly had a problem with being on shift. The toilets were disgusting. It looked like someone vandalised it using bodily fluids. I will never go back there that is for sure.

I treated my best friend to a meal there twice while i was down they are really friendly

I wanted to treat my girls to dinner so went to the owl on Saturday night we phoned ahead as was going to be a late booking and was told that it wouldn't be a problem, 5 of us eating as well. The food was absolutely amazing and the small plates are great value

Attended the pub on sat 24/02/2024, this was for a family lunch. From start to finish the service was great, food was outstanding. Sorry we didn’t get the member of staff name but we sat on table 27, she was very polite and helpful. Can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely afternoon The Goldens

Bad first experience tbh. Had booked a table and asked for a quiet spot if possible.... And then put right next to a head height TV. So moved. Table 2 was sticky and needed washing with hot water n soap..... As did the menu card.... Gross. Fish was not available.... Nor was pineapple for Gammon and the next table asked for bread but none available. Given the proximity to a Supermarket I would have restocked there!

Dull pub. Don't treat regulars that well . Forced in to paying a tab that wasn't mine. I live within 5 minute walk from here but won't be visiting again. Never anything on for entertainment

Loverly place good atmosphere. Staff are really friendly. Absolutely brilliant. Good friendly atmosphere. Nice food. And extremely dog friendly. Handy place to go while wife shops. Or just a place to play pool. Watch the football and sport. Huge tv around the pub.

Great beer and lovely atmosphere.

Good food, although more vegan options would be welcome, as the only vegan dessert options is a mocha tart that nobody at my table could stomach because it was too sweet, or ice cream, which most people don't want in winter. The staff however are amazing and attentive and really make you feel at home.

Me & my sister in law visited yesterday and both had the katsu curry & it was absolutely delicious. The portions were very good & we also had a dessert each which was also lovely. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.Thank you for a lovely afternoon x

Sat outside under the decking. Really nice place to sit. Pub has made a nice effort to give a relaxing environment to sit and enjoy a drink. Nicely lit with heat lamps for the colder weather. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Prices were also good Main bar area is large and clean. Not eaten here so can't comment on food

I selected this pub from previous good experiences of Greene King pubs whilst in East Anglia and I wasn’t disappointed. Lovely, courteous staff, good beer and fantastic food. I had Steak & Ale pie and it was lovely, just like me old Mum used to make. Not much else to say, nice friendly atmosphere, would recommend 10/10 👌🏾

Visited on way home to Kent after a short break in Suffolk. Impressed at the young staff who seemed to know all the local oaps by name. They did not stop working. There were so many people enjoying the lunchtime seniors menu that we were advised the food wait was 30 mins. They told us before we ordered giving us the option of proceeding or not. Actually the food arrived faster than anticipated. Two drinks, two hot meals and two puds for £20. Can't beat that!

Good place for a burger! Table was a little sticky, but the food was great. They got part of our order wrong, but the manager came over to apologise immediately, offered a round of free drinks to make up for the wait (didn't take him up on that, as we really didn't have to wait long!). Above and beyond service. Nice crispy fries, good burger. Cricket on (followed by F1) for thise interested in that sort of thing. All in all a nice visit, would recommend.

Been a few years since I've been in the owl, have to say the food was fantastic, had the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection, nothing was dry as some mixed grills can be, chicken was moist and the steak was cooked perfectly, staff were great, especially the girl who served us, she has a huge personality and is a credit to to you,will be back again,

Been here for mothers day today. Very accommodating, big selection of food, lovely atmosphere and staff were very efficient. Food was tasty, looked lovely when it came out not just chucked on a plate. Had quirky accessories the food very good quality. The young lady singing was very good and a nice little touch on mothers day.

All friendly and welcoming staff remember you by name no what I like could not do enough for you. One of my favourite places to go in Felixstowe whether just for a drink or a meal all amazing. Cannot rate highly enough.

Had low blood sugar and they didn’t let me eat when I had my own food what will help me with my blood sugar I understand they have food but the food I had it would kick in more to make my blood sugar good again. The pub has such a homely feel to it the staff are nice and friendly the menu had everything we wanted and even the kids enjoyed it which was a bonus will definitely be going again

Stopped for Lunch and a drink. Had the rump steak toastie. It was huge, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Staff were very friendly, excellent customer service.

Horrendous place, don't know there own greenking promotions, dirty run down pub with poor food, slow service and it's only redeeming factor is the pool table and small outside area.

Good food and good choice of ales. They provide board games, which helped to keep the kids entertained
