Food mostly awful. Service was good. Dips were small portions (each dip would fill two eggcups.) The taramasalata was o.k. but the hummus was lacking salt,garlic,olive oil and was served without an olive ! Our main dish was Kleftiko and arrived looking good,but, the boiled potato was piping hot in the centre and barley warm at the edge. The meat was well cooked and soft as was the half a carrot but whilst the gravy tasted ok it was heavy with fat and had not been strained enough. The ice cream tasted good and portion was great for people dieting . Our bill came to £65.50 without alcohol . I definitely felt ripped off . I guess alarm bells should go off when one walks into a restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday night and the place is more than half empty. This place is seriously over-priced for what they are offering. Won't be going back.

We booked this restaurant 2/3 wks in advance received confirmation of the booking for 7pm Saturday 28/10/23. It was for our anniversary as we’ve been before on previous occasions & always enjoyed it. But on arrival the doors were closed so i knocked on the window as I could see a couple sat there, to my amazement a member of staff said we’re closed & with that she came to the door & surprised me even more by saying oh I’m really sorry all the kitchen staff have cleaned up for the night well sorry on a Saturday night isn’t good enough I was absolutely appalled & disgusted that a restaurant would do such a thing it was only 7pm so where on earth at the last minute was we going to have a nice meal? So we’ll done othellos for ruining our night & anniversary so we will definitely NOT BE RETURNING & I HOPE YOU CLOSE YOUR DOORS FOR GOOD definitely so very badly run apparently a few people had cancelled oh what a pity we definitely hadn’t so stick your Greek food & restaurant where the sun doesn’t shine

Disgraceful and thats being kind! First flag, everything was a rush. second flag no vine leaves for 2 of the starters.... now it's not like they run out, the restaurant was almost empty...I should have walked out then!! but we were all hungry and hey maybe the starters and mains we had ordered would wow us. Starters, Meh just meh a bit bland my issues and there are many was with the mains courses,... firstly the mains came out ultra quick 6-7 mins TOP! for 4 different dishes one being the Othellos signature lamb dish, IMPOSSIBLE time turnaround! ... So, 2 of us ordered 2 different pasta dishes, they said not to touch the plates as they are burning hot, and we all know what that means they microwaved the food. I'd like to point out each pasta dish was £16 for them to microwave it !!!! 2 of us ordered mixed meat grills with rice and pitta. Now I cook, A LOT, I'm a good home cook...so I know the mix grill meat was precooked and warmed, some meat pieces were inedible...the rice was that plasticity uncle Ben's or boil in bag the pitta bread was supermarket. My lamb was OK I guess, fell off the bone but for a signature dish it was more a kin to lamb shank with a fancy sauce. It said comes with roast potatoes, they came out boiled?!. Chris "The chef" has checked out. such a shame. The bill was £157!! for bland, inedible, microwaved food plus drinks! AVOID!!! if you respect your taste buds AVOID!!!! I feel like I've been ripped off so you don't have too!!!!!! if you ignore this review, you were warned ⚠️

We opted for the al a carte menu and were delighted by the choice available. Service was swift and very friendly, drinks were served promptly. The starters and main courses were excellent. Overall a very pleasant evening, great food, good service and the Greek coffee was to die for. We are both looking forwards to visiting again.

The waitress was lovely and friendly, there was lots of choice on the menu and the waitress talked us through some of the dishes. We enjoyed everything and the Baklava was to die for. So good. The people at the table next to us recommended the Greek coffee, which was also delicious. We can’t wait to go again.

We love greece and greek food sadly this wasnt greek it was cypriot my husbands lamb came with potatoes and carrots and a mint gravy it was tasty but it was like a roast dinner not greek in any way i struggled with my skewers as lamb was a bit hard to cut but a sharper knife a meat knife should of been given with this type of meal to make it easier but meal was tasty enough. There were only us 2 eating as it was early and the young girl serving was lovely.. Drinks vastly over priced £7 for a glass of wine and £26 for a bottle is the most i have ever paid anywhere i have eaten and wine was very watery sadly .. prices need looking at across the board we wont be going back which is sad as we had hoped for an authentic greek meal but this is not the place to go.

Where do I start with this god awful restaurant, arrived freezing cold inside, had to sit on my hands to keep them warm. Order the lamb Kebabs for me and my dinner guest. Food arrived, wow, what can I say, impossible to even cut with a knife never mind chew. Both myself and my dinner guest left most of it but expressed our disappointment to the waitress even after paying full price for the most disappointing Greek meal I ever experienced. Her response was its your fault because its lovely. Good luck staying in business with such a poor combination of customer service, bad food and freezing cold restaurant

Turned up on a quiet potential snowy evening to try the early bird menu. Amazing waitress super friendly and helpful. Starters were dips and pita and spanakopita and mains chicken gyros and pork all fabulous and enormous portions can’t wait to return. Special mention to the best bird nest baclava ever we wished we had two. Honestly can’t recommend the early bird menu enough.

Went for meal which did not disappoint the food was tasty and melt in the mouth We had the pork and the beef slow cooked dish with rice and it felt like sitting in a taverna in Greece without the sun .they made us feel very welcome.looking forward to return visit

Such a warm welcome from the host, We were given the choice of where to sit. Very efficient and fast service but at our own pace , excellent menus with a good cross section of Greek food, extremely well priced. Our food was cooked to perfection and tasted superb We could not fault it. Nice relaxing atmosphere it was quite a quiet Tuesday night. If you enjoy Greek food then I would most certainly recommend this restaurant to you. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

Arrived at 19:30 on a Saturday night, warmly greeted and seated immediately. Ordered a Keo, bottle of Prosecco and bottle of Othello and the Meze for two. The food was quite simply outstanding, the drinks of a very high quality as was the service. We don’t like being rushed and were given a nice break between the first and second course. Definitely recommend this fabulous restaurant and we will return in the future.
