O’Sole Mio Cafe in Sunderland

Had a lovely lunch here today with my parents. Food very tasty and fresh. Love the quirky interior and the owner is very welcoming. Great to find a new place to lunch close to home. Will definitely be returning. Looking forward to trying the homemade tiramisu next time. Excellent value.

What a lovely Italian cafe, with off road parking. It is nicely decorated and does look very Mediterranean. Food freshly made to order, and good portions. The Cappuccino was one of the best I have tasted. Music playing in the background, friendly owner and staff. Prices reasonable, very good value for money.

Excellent place to go to and the atmosphere is as good as the food . Coffee is perfect. This is the place for to go and relax.

I called in for coffee and stayed for lunch, that was my first visit! Made sure It wasn’t my last. Everything made fresh, atmosphere very Italian and a must have is the home made tiramisu, wow!It’s one of those little gems that’s easily missed but so worth a visit

This place was a find while waiting for my mother-in-law at the eye clinic. Saw it from the road below the church! What a lovely quaint and charming restaurant. The food all cooked to order and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

This was my second visit and both times the food has been fabulous. Freshly cooked pasta and homemade tiramisu. A fantastic combination. I’ll definitely visit again. Shame it isn’t open early evening.

What a brill place to eat. The fresh pasta dish was amazing as was the garlic bread served with it. A very quirky interior is very interesting as was our discussions with the Italian owner. A real gem!

Lovely cafe and all the food is freshly made,lovely displays of basil,fruit and vegetables what more could you want particularly at lunchtime. Great to have this cafe so close to the Ashbrooke area,do try it and help to support this local and independent cafe,the prices are very reasonable too.

This is fairly local to us but hadn't popped in before. Had lovely food at very reasonable prices. Owner is very chirpy and it's nice to hear him whistling as he goes about his work.

Visited this little gem a few times now and the food is always amazing! The food is freshly made and tastes great. The owner is very welcoming and makes a mean cup of coffee. I can't recommend this place enough, I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.
