Service is really good, attentive and friendly staff. It does get very busy, so I’d recommend booking in advance If you want to try a bit of a few things, then the Platter is definitely for you, but I’d also recommend the Ribs, the meat literally falls off the bone! The rump steak is also delicious, really tender and juicy; and the peppercorn sauce has a good kick to it! The slaw is really tasty too, and the onions rings are crispy and chunky! The chicken tenders were a bit of a let down, a bit watery when you bite into them and not as crispy as they should be! For desert, defo try the Crunchie (brownie and cookie dough)

My third time visiting New Orleans and it was extremely disappointing. I wanted to take my two friends to this venue because I have enjoyed it every other time. Today was straight up embarrassing. Starters were okay, came out quickly but a little bland. The mains however extremely bland and cold. Our burger arrived and was thrown across the table, and no remake was offered, just expecting my friend to put it back together herself, leaving us to awkwardly try and ask the waitress for a fresh one. we didn’t get this, but a “fresh bacon. We had to wait for the final main to come along side this, and the bacon was somehow cold. The brisket was so fatty, barely any bark to be seen and also extremely dry, it was literally inedible. We also ordered two sides of charred broccoli and we received barely even microwaved broccoli. Cold fries, tater tots, the mac and cheese at least had a warm cheese crust. Took around 15 minutes to get the managers attention, our waitress karys bless her was struggling with a big table and we were literally being ignored by everyone else. I had to in the end ask a glasses collector to grab his attention for me, he was too busy chatting with this blonde girl whose name began with a K and ignored all of his customers. He came over and asked if we wanted new meals, which we didn’t it was nearly 8:30 and he scoffed when our discount wouldn’t work on the bill. It was a truly disappointing experience and we all feel so let down, but also let down for karys because she was so genuinely upset that we hadn’t had a great time and she was busy she is a great asset to your team she at least made us leave with a little smile

Cant find fault. Attended with my daughter, had great service (Waiter called Will), great food and really enjoyed the whole evening. Will certainty return

I visited with my partner on a Wednesday afternoon we came an hour early and they were still very accommodating. We was greeted by a lovely waiter named Ruby who looked after us the duration of our booking we was given water and sweet popcorn on arrival. The menu was a wide variety the drinks starters mains and dessert came out very quickly our tables were cleared in between and we were constantly checked on the food tasted really good my only complaint was that the first option I chose for my mains tasted really bland and Ruby insisted it was taken back to the kitchen and I was able to choose something else instead which I was given extra fries with for free we also got dessert for free too by signing up for the newsletter email updates cocktails were really strong which was nice . The atmosphere was quiet and calm and the toilets were extremely clean and smelt so nice. Overall experience I was so pleased money well spent and will be back again

Will was a great server. Ordered the buffalo wings for starter which were really nice. Up until this point everything was great and so the expectations were high. Until we had to wait about an hour for the food, quite disappointing. Ribs were very dry and brisket was tasteless. Even the chips weren’t good, 3 stars for the service and decor really.

Overall, great service and great food. Connor was a great server 👍

Today I have visited with my family and my friend for our dinner. My husband ordered the dirty burgers and me and my friend had steaks . The meals are so delicious and we enjoyed very much. Also service was so good and thank you for Harris and she was so helpful and great service for us.

I ordered the Southern Feast mac n cheese and they forgot the bacon. The flavour was ok, but it didn't wow me. It is nice they give you some popcorn while you're waiting for your food. We also ordered some dessert and they forgot. We waited for more than 30 minutes to get our pudding.

The restaurant has a nice vibe but why the cutlery is placed directly on the table? Surely having a napkin underneath it would make it more sanitary.

Came here for Valentines . the bbq pulled tacos as a starter are gorgeous. i had the half rack of ribs which you can never go wrong with and was amazing. other half had beef brisket burger which looked fabulous. and mac&cheese and tater tot side . nice range of beer and signature cocktails were really good. Danielle our server was lovely & very attentive was very happy with service overall and the bubbly atmosphere and good price range for food . will be coming again :)

Really poor service. Drinks were slow, food took ages and had to be prompted after half an hour. We came to watch the rugby and after the first half they switched it to the football.

Went here with my girlfriend for our 3 year anniversary after a spa day and boy oh boy did they not disappoint! We went with very empty stomachs and left barely able to walk. The food was delicious and I loved the Smokey taste of the horseshoe sausage I had, my girlfriend had the brisket po-boy which was equally Smokey and tasty! We each had a garlic and cheese pretzel which was to die for! Our server was a young man whose name I unfortunately didn’t get but he was fantastic, friendly and professional. I can’t comment much on atmosphere as we went at 9pm on a Thursday so it wasn’t busy whatsoever but I can imagine it’s a fun place when busy. I look forward to coming back and trying the gumbo!

First time I have visited this restaurant enjoyed will recommend to my friends But their one thing in coming to the bill, paid the bill but when I got home found at the bottom of the bill got charge drinks from another table over £20.00. I should not have to scrutinised the bill, the person who looking after you , should look on her hand held tablet and see whats has been ordered, hopefully I will get a refund from the restaurant Regards peter

Excellent first experience - good food and portion sizes well worth the money.

Great food, although the half chicken was a little boring. Jambalaya was superb, sides and slaw were great. Service was fantastic, we were well looked after.

Arrived approx 5/10 mins before our booked time, was seated immediately but was told we would have to wait 10 minutes for our server as they hadn't started work yet! Weren't offered drinks whilst we waited so purchased from the bar ourselves. When server did arrive he was very pleasant and our order came within a couple of minutes of ordering. Food was nice, nothing spectacular and portion size certainly not worth the price tag. From where we sat we could see the popcorn machine where servers bag you a complimentary bag of popcorn, servers were also helping themselves from the machine with their hands 🤢 To summarise, we've tried it but wouldn't book again and probably wouldn't recommend to others

Came here for a meal with friends, and we all absolutely loved it. Walked into a very appealing establishment to be greeted immediately by a friendly worker who seated us at our table and took our drinks orders. The aesthetic of this place is incredible with some great decor. I had the smoked platter for one, and it was incredible, I'm not even sure what the bean thing on my plate was, but i wish there was more. Meats were wonderfully cooked and full of juices. 0 issues with any of the food. My girlfriend had the Vegan Mushroom Jambalaya which was described as a very enjoyable dish with a bit of a kick to it but not enough to set your mouth of fire and its good to see vegan options avaliable in a smokehouse. For dessert, it was the Orleans frozen ice cream (add your own toppings at the station), which, again, tasted amazing. Our server Ash was great, kept us topped up on drinks, and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. He kept his service area clean every time other people left it was great to see. Overall, this place has probably just become my new favourite place to have a nice meal. The price is higher than other places, but it's the standard of the smokehouse that you're paying for, and it's worth every penny.

Had to wait 20 mins foe our table, we did get complementary drinks for the wait. No brisket left, which we understood. One burger came with tomatoes when we asked for it to have none. They did change it. We asked for no beef patty on the chicken burger and were told we could have chicken tenders instead. Just noticed an additional charge for these. And all food was lukewarm. The really helpful waitress did ask if we wanted a fresh version of anything, but we were all starving by this time. Oh and my corn on the cob was not charred one bit..Disappointing experience, won't go back. Can't fault the waitress though, she was great.

We have visited Orleans three times now. Excellent food. Can’t fault the staff. They will do everything to make sure the experience as good as possible. Always friendly and have a smile on their face, that’s all you want at a meal. Shoutout to Taylor. Went above and beyond on our last visit, she is a credit to the restaurant.

Our first time dining here today and we'll definitely be back. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our server, Ellie was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely amazing - I had chicken tenders - the chicken was fabulous, and Mac and cheese...which was perfection. I am looking forward to eating my way through the menu and cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Went in 11/1/2025 I understand it's hard to heat up a big building in the winter but my god was it cold. If most are paying £20 or more you can put the heating on! I got the platter for one and honestly it felt old as if it was smoked yesterday, I was really looking forward to this place and traveled over an hour, I was just frozen and unhappy the meat was decent even tho it wasn't warm. It's just a shame honestly. I went with the Mrs and she got the chicken fajitas they were nice. I'm just gutted I payed £32 for what should be the best of everything on the menu and felt as if I was ripped off I suppose I could've complained but I'm just letting you lot know what to expect.

Just been for my bday and what can i say, disappointed isn't the word. I had the platter for 1 which came out cold, the sausage was cremated, the brisket was dry and tough, the baby ribs was the same, the short ribs was tender that's it, fries were cold, pit beans was cold as well. Just came off a 24hr fast as well that is the only reason i didn't kick off. Never will i return after that.

I left hungry. I had big expectations, but unfortunately I thought the portion size was very small. Ordered the beef po’boy, it was just two slices of thin beef in a hotdog bun and a very small portion of chips, not worth the money at all.

In short, if you want decent BBQ food, go to Hickory's instead. Food was really poor. The beef (brisket and ribs) was tough and dry. The pork ribs were better by comparison, but still dry, tough and burnt in places - but at least you could get the bone out! The sides/fried chicken were decent - but for a smokehouse, you expect them to be able to cook BBQ, anyone can deep fry some pre-bought sides. Service was okay - but staff seemed disinterested at times, chatting amongst themselves. The venue however is great, clean and with a live band. Its a shame the food is so poor.

My baby ribs were fine however the chips were very dry and of poor flavour. Other meals in our big group that I tried a little were not great either, especially considering the prices charged. It was also my mother's birthday when I visited in mid November. A cake was arranged for her by the staff(thank you) but it wrongly came out much later than the other desserts and the birthday singing very half hearted - poor on this. Dessert pictured just ok and expensive. The place looks great on the outside and in and great parking. Hickory's is not far from here and I believe a little more expensive too but it's so much better.

Had Jake as my waiter, very fast service and amazing food. Would highly recommend him to everyone. Considering how many tables he had managed to serve us very quick. Live music was good aswell to lighten the experience.

Food was excellent, The experience was made by the server Ashley who was amazing with the kids and picked up it was my wife’s birthday without us realising, we really appreciated the birthday cake.

Great for food and cocktails. Visited with husband and daughter there was something for us all on the extensive, authentic orleans menu. In particular i ordered a rib eye steak. It was cooked to perfection by the chef. I would say it was a far superior steak even to the local steakhouse. Will definitely return!

Last time we visited it was really nice but when we visited tonight the food was terrible it was dry... missing items and when they replaced what was missing the beans came out cold... never again visiting!! as a chef it's baffling how you can burn a slow cooked piece of meat

I was seated quickly and given a complementary jug of water and a bag of popcorn; delicious and fresh. The menu had lots of amazing sounding food. I went for three starters; garlic pretzel, popcorn brisket bites and chicken tenders. The popcorn brisket was fresh and not greasy, had a delicious coating and tender chunks of brisket with a tasty bbq sauce. The chicken tenders were succulent and tasty, served with sour cream and a hot honey sauce; which was stunning! The garlic pretzel was soft inside with a typical chewy pretzel crust and a yummy garlic butter glaze. The portions are generous and I had to take my pretzel home as I could not fit anymore in. Service was good, friendly and patient (too many nice things on the menu) Would love to visit again when I'm in the area

We really enjoyed our 1st visit to Orleans Smokehouse Solihull. The food was really tasty and the service was really good. Only one thing that stopped me giving 5 stars for service was that we paid with cash and didn't get our change back. Which was just under £4. If we had got our change back, the server would've received that change and probably another £4 on top of that.

Had a family meal here today, 15 of us, food was great and the service was exceptional, highly recommend the chicken wings with the buffalo sauce for starter.
