Oriental Pearl in Northumberland

Very very poor with horrific customer service, delivery time of over 2 and a half hours, restaurant wont answer the phone after orders are placed. Ive received multiple wrong meals from here and they wont exchange or replace them. I received raw prawn batter balls, the batter was literally stone cold LIQUID BATTER inside not cooked at all, extremely dangerous!!!!! I have given them the benefit of the doubt to many times now, the wasted wrong, tasteless, late, cold ,raw meals are not worth the risk.

Por millas Oriental Pearl es el mejor restaurante Chino de comida para llevar en esta zona. La comida es siempre caliente cuando llegue, siempre es muy fresca y tiene un increíble sabor a rematar. El muchacho que trabaja en el escritorio es un buen hombre auténtico que es muy amable. Mis órdenes siempre llegó rápidamente y siempre he estado muy impresionado por la calidad de la comida que se sirve. Se debe probar si no tengo nada de aquí antes. Mejor China en Morpeth, de lejos. Me gusta la comida china, pero no en este sitio. El anfitrión era muy informativo sobre Morpeth y la elección de alimentos prácticamente como media para cualquier comida para llevar. El pan de gambas estaban cansados, suave y probablemente muy antiguo.

We have been customers at the Oriental Pearl for many years. The owner is always polite and so friendly. The quality of the food is excellent, fresh and full of flavour. We usually order Chicken Kung Po, we have also enjoyed Szechuan chicken and beef and black bean sauce, chicken chow mein and chicken with spring onion and ginger (this dish was so refreshing and full of pieces of ginger and spring onions delicious) chicken fried rice, and pineapple chicken, prawn crackers and mini spring rolls and mini trigon oh and chips in gravy. We enjoy a meal from here at least once a week and are always happy. In fact writing this review has made me want one so badly I'm going to order our meals now instead of our usual Friday!

Pedí entrega y era tan bueno que pedimos una vez más la noche siguiente y terminamos teniendo tres entregas en una semana. Mi cocina se rompió y así que estábamos pidiendo en para el té. Probamos esto llevar y no comer en cualquier otro chino para llevar. El orden está a la vuelta de la esquina a 15 min aprox. La comida era deliciosa y muy sabrosa. Nos dieron pequeños bocados gratuitos, que era una ventaja.

I'll be honest here ... decided to opt for this takeaway over our usual for the simple reason I'd had a couple of glasses of wine so wouldn't drive and they offered home delivery. I'm so glad we did - it was great and will probably become our regular place to go now. The person taking the order was very helpful as we were ordering without a menu and just going with what we usually choose from our regular Chinese takeaway. He offered suggestions for new dishes too. The delivery driver was delayed due to roadworks but we received a phone call to update us. He was very apologetic when he arrived even though this was not his fault. Food was great. I would particularly recommend the crispy chicken with green chilli - but only if you can take your chillis hot! Good value for money and very reasonable delivery charge too. Well worth a visit or a home delivery!

This has always been my Staple chinese takeaway in morpeth when visiting family just up the road. Food is great quality and the portion sizes are acceptable for the price paid.

Been here two or three times over the last year, each time it was very quiet. I am surprised at this because the decor is good, the service is good, the food is very good and the price will not break anybody's bank. Don't the locals eat Chinese food? Maybe it's because the entrance is small and dwarfed by the loud pub next door. Still, it deserves more support.

Good food at a reasonable price. Quick service and good food, what more can you want from a chinese takeaway.

Went for the basic chicken curry fried rice and chips first time visit curry nothing special a bit bland there's other better Chinese takeaways around Morpeth
