Lovley food, quick delivery, still hot

Driver isn't the best but food is amazing

I got delivered deep fried salt and chilli chicken. Worst ever, literally battered over a toothpick size chicken. Dry no taste apart from the barely cooked raw onion

Don’t expect service..the girl wouldn’t even say hello or acknowledge you. She will look angry or confused. She seems angry when we didn’t know what certain dish’s are does not want to explain. Just not a happy or Friday lady. Food is bland think people just eat here as it’s just there and get used to the bland taste. Atmosphere seems clam but looks like a funeral home

My go-to Chinese takeaway ever since I was small. It's always fantastic no matter what you get.

Ordered some salt and pepper chicken and chowmain it’s all absolutely disgusting, the curry was like cement and the chicken was so chewy I threw it away (DONT BUY HERE)

Didn't like the salt and pepper chicken at all, it was a weird taste and literally just tasted of salt and a bit of pepper. Also went to pay with card and had to go to a shop on the street to withdraw cash and was charged 1.80 to get money out. Originally wanted to go to the golden palace but it was shut

The food here has never let me down. Great choice on menu and ready for collection when they say it will be. Delivery service ofter comes quicker than quoted when ordering. Have used this place many times and see no reason to go elsewhere.

Ordered two meals house special curry with chips and rice and sweet and sour chicken battered The meat was all slimy and didn’t resemble anything remotely like chicken or pork Then the sweet and sour chicken was very under cooked. Avoid at all cost

Best salt and pepper ribs I have ever had. Meaty and moist with a good kick of pepper. King prawn curry was verging on too hot but absolutely full of flavour and stayed just the right side of he'll. Sweet and Sour King prawn balls loads of them not too much batter and best Chinese chips I. A long time. Great value fast service and food piping hot. Thoroughly recommend

Rang our usual takeaway to find they were closed, on the recommendation of a neighbour we called Ocean Treasure....and wow, quite simply the best Chinese food ever, fresh, tastey and beautifully prepared, my new favorite takeaway, really enjoyed the food and everyone commented how good it was. Delivery as well, first class.

Telephone order delivered very quickly, but the curry sauce was not included. When contacted, claimed the item was not ordered and began to argue. Sauce was never offered or delivered. I will not be using again. Appauling customer service!

They missed part of the order off & were very rude about it. No offer to complete order, speedy delivery but you don't get what you asked for. Meal is in the bin.

Never even got food waited an hour and half to be told on phone another 40mins to hour,horrendous.

Had char sui foo yung with chips noodles and fried rice, curry sauce and spring rolls. This was enough to feed two adults and two young kids. Tasty food that even my fussy monsters gobbled up.

Have ordered from ocean treasure in the past and had a nice meal however the food seems to have gone down hill since ordered Mongolian beef and or was extremely salty!!! Not that nice will wait the extra 30 minutes for golden flower next time. Will not be returning to ocean treasure in future.

Noticed you have deleted my original post so I shall post it again! Not capable of providing a meal I asked for because they somehow managed to put chicken in my meal & I do not eat meat!! Was shocked and upset! Waste of money. No form of apology when rang up just a replacement! Avoid avoid avoid.

I love the food here it's always nice, hot and tastes fresh. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, always ready when they say it will be I can't fault it in anyway if you need a takeaway use this one in Ashington, Best Chinese I have ever used.

The food here on several occasions is awesome taste second great blend of spices n aromatic curries smells and flavours gets your taste buds going fills you no problem for a bargain of. The price ...!!! Beautiful well majored Chinese people very polite nice and welcoming Iam honoured to eat here from these wonderful Chinese people's hard work grafting in the kitchen..!!the best in the North East ..!!

Standard / average takeaway fare, no better or worse than anywhere else in Ashington. Wouldn't not go again.

Dropped in based on the reviews here, opted for one the "Chef's recommendations" fried chicken in lemon sauce, the chicken was fine, the fried rice was a tad salty, no big deal, but the lemon sauce was very poor. It tasted only faintly of lemon, very wishy washy and actually spoiled the chicken. First time ever I've not enjoyed a lemon chicken, so overall quite disappointing.

We have been coming to this takeaway for years, it has changed hands a few times but the meals are always plentiful and very tasty. Wouldn't bother going to any other takeaway.

I have had better to be fair. I there was not much taste very bland. I'll just stick to my normal takeaway. But it's everyone to there own taste.

Recently the take away I normally order from closed down. I was recommended Ocean Treasure from a friend, I wasn't disappointed. The food is lovely, I ordered chicken battered balls, wonton and curry sauce. The chicken is so soft and tender, and the batter doesn't taste greasy. I would recommend the take away to everyone. The delivery is also very fast, 20 mins.

I have had takeaway from Ocean Treasure many times and I have never had a bad meal. The gentleman who takes the orders is very polite and you don't wait too long for your order. The takeaway has been in Ashington on Milburn Road for many years and has become a well established and favoured takeaway in the locality. I live locally and frequently bypass other takeaways and return to the Ocean treasure as I am never disappointed. Well worth the money indeed

We've been using Ocean Treasure for Chinese for many years, the recent change in ownership saw some blips in the kitchen but they are now back on form. Especially recommend the lemon chicken and Mongolian dry fried dishes if you love spicy food.
