Lovely food and friendly staff, I love this place and come back order again.

I don't know what is wrong with this place. I'm really disappointed. It has to be my favourite one. The sesame prawn toasts are full of fat/oily and chewy, like reheated in a microwave. The special chow main has no more than 5 peace's of meat, tiny like a toothpicks, only noodles and bean sprouts, and naked soy souse. Very disappointed. Fingers crossed they will take a note and correct the mistakes.

I will give the delivery 5* ... quick and polite. However, the prawn crackers were dry and stale. Won Soup quite greasy. Doubt if I would order from here again. Definitely not value for money.

Food isn't nice at all. Everything just seemed stale and wasn't pleasant to eat. Probably the worst Chinese takeaway in Molesey. Definitely won't order again

We ordered from oriental chef in Walton and when I looked at the map when it was getting delivered it was from oriental express in molesey?! A completely different Chinese I am not happy!

Really nice, used to be terrible. Definitely recommend the Oriental. The only downside is they don't offer crackers for free unless you down over £20. Friendly staff, always greet you with a smile. Edit: Now the best Chinese around for me personally. Lovely staff, really friendly and the food is amazing. They've got a great team team there now! Thanks guys 👍

Went on for boba on this occasion but have ordered here before never been disappointed. Staff were friendly and approachable.

I went when the new owners took over and the food was average. I went today and felt that it had improved greatly. The staff were nice and things looked very clean. The food was prepared quickly and it tasted really good. All four of us were very happy with the food. If I could say one thing, I think maybe a few more veggie options, perhaps like veggie chilli beef which could be great. That said, still very good, nice family feel in there, well done all.

Singapore style noodles are tasty. But the old lady working in there is rude and sarcastic. Just be warned.

The food is very delicious, I come here basically once a week. Great service and friendly staff.

This used to be an absolute hidden gem, with incredibly fresh produce and not the usual greasy, stodgy, English type of Chinese place. It used to have fresh veg, light sauces and was in many areas on a par with the far, far more expensive Good Earth restaurant in Esher. After the new owners, sadly it's now just like the rest of them. Nearly everything I used to order is now gone from the menu or not any good. No more slightly crispy noodles with fresh baby sweetcorn, sugar snaps, chicken, bamboo and Chinese mushrooms in a crystal sauce. No more light garlic stir fried broccoli, and the crispy beef that used to be undyed, delicious and not overly sweet or gloopy isn't the same. Surely the new owners would have spent some time getting to know how things were done, the food standards etc. as the place was successful for good reason! But instead they've completely changed everything for the worse. Absolutely gutted the restaurant (as was) is gone, and there's no replacement.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. We ordered from here and 45 mins later the food still hadn’t arrived. We called to see where the food was and they said they had tried to call us 4 times and we didn’t answer which is a massive lie. They then told just eat that that the food had been delivered and claimed we had it when we absolutely did not. I called the restaurant and they were nothing but rude. I will never ever come to this awful place ever ever again, they are liars and have stolen our money.

My chicken balls full of batter there is about 10 pasent chicken to 90 pasent batter My chicken fried rice had No chicken in it so I will not be coming back to you again since it changed hands it’s gone down hill

Had a delivery tonight 31/10/22 - piping hot, good flavour and quick delivery would recommend

We waited 1hr40mins for a delivery of 3 items. We were quoted £1.50 delivery on the phone but were charged £4 on their website, with an extra £0.50 charge for service. They provided free prawn crackers as an 'apology' for the wait - but we know these are free with every order. Noodles lacked flavour. Won't be returning customers due to poor service.

Not good at all disgusting & greasy spring rolls. Tried the new owners just after opening & it was ok. Won’t be back now

Love the food from here . Whenever I fancy Chinese food this is first Choice for me from last few years. Love their crispy noodle with black bean sauce . Amazing must try . 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Not how it used to be. The previous owner for oriental express we used to order every 2-3 weeks and food was on point and so good. Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment. The beef was too hard. The prawns were too greasy and the soup was too sweet as if you were eating an dessert. Pretty upset as this used to be my favourite Chinese local take away

Tonight we ordered our favourite take away since New Year unaware there has been a change of management. After many years of good service and great food the whole family was disappointed. The two beef/chicken with mushroom dishes lacked flavour as did the two noodle dishes which were also dry as was the egg frying rice was lacked egg. My wifes favourite spring roll was so greasy she couldn't eat it and my favourite Chicken Chop Suey which used to come in a sweet sauce now comes in a gravy sauce that totally ruined it. Look like we will have to start looking for somewhere else to order from from now on.

s+s chicken balls and the smoked chicken was really tasty. bbq pork was alright. not a fan of the noodles, curry sauce tasted like cinnamon and no curry, chips aren’t normal thick cut chinese shop chips they are the thin ones. probably won’t be going here again as i wasn’t a massive fan of the food overall. also collected as we live about 2 mins away and the food was already cold by the time we ate it

The food was above average. i liked the fact is wasn't very greasy. not too far from where i live so would most likely be ordering from here again.

Great Chinese food. Good portions and never a problem with small changes to the ingredients for those who don't like onions or something else! Their hot & sour soup is delicious and so far everything we have tried has been tasty.

Ordered 3 dishes, none of which even remotely matched the description. Little to no flavour - clearly cutting all kinds of corners. Very disappointed, will never go again.

Very disappointed in this Chinese has used it for years but it has gone down hill ask for a chicken and mushroom curry and you get a mushroom curry with no chicken a portion of chips which wood be about 10 chips in a bag complete waste of time and money I would recommend definitely going somewhere else

Excellent food great taste and Good price.

Good selection of vegetarian dishes and most are that bit different from the usual vegetarian fare found on an Oriental takeaway menu. Really tasty and always cooked and either delivered or ready for collection very quickly.

Decent food, not too greasy. Good selection for vegetarians.

Food freshly cooked you can watch it being cooked friendly lady also she delivers, not salty like some Chinese food, recommend try it.
