Oriental Chef Chinese Takeaway in Elmbridge

Food is excellent. They are happy to add or take something out of a dish if you don't like it.. Value for money. They really pack out their containers. And give me extra crackers for my parrot.

This "Oriental Chef" takeaway food is absolutely outstanding. We used to live in the area for many, many years and have moved to retire in the West Country of Somerset. We haven't found a Chinese Takeaway as good as the "Oriental Chef" we left behind in "Walton on Thames". So we travel 140 miles every so often to buy in bulk the "Oriental Chef" Chinese takeaway food. It is absolutely outstanding and deserves five stars, I would give it ten stars. The "Oriental Chef" food has a 10 out of 10 from my family. Wish they could open one here in Taunton , Somerset. A big thank you for the years of wonderful food. So whilst the food was actually pretty reasonable, i was so annoyed after waiting 1.5 hours, that i didnt enjoy the experience at all. You place an order thinking it will give a reasonable wait time, maybe 30-40 mins max. but it doesnt tell you until you've ordered how long it will take. 1hr 15m!! Its only a few streets away! And it actually took 1hr 30 mins - with no apology, and only left the shop once I had phoned to ask where it was. If you're hungry and choose not to cook this evening, go elsewhere!

The food was truly awful…… I will never use this establishment again. Probably won’t sleep tonight for fear of what is happening in my stomach. Avoid

This restaurant was disgusting. The good actually smelt rancid. I went into the establishment to pick up my food and the place was filthy with cob webs all over the ceiling. The people cooking were using their bare hands, it was also so unhygienic.

Chicken balls were greasy, with a very small amount of tough chicken. Special fried rice had a hair in it. Threw most of the meal away as it was inedible. Will never order Chinese food from here again.

With a family run Chinese Takeaway since 2002, the staff are always friendly. Good food and great prices and many good reviews on their facebook page. I ordered the beef in black bean sauce and singapore fried rice noodle, taste just like they serve them in Hong Kong may be better. with 20% off in Aug, what's not to like!

This family own and run Chinese Takeaway has been serving Walton-On-Thames since 2002. Serving excellent authentic Hong Kong and Peking Dishes. I particularly like the Beef in Black Bean Sauce and Sweet & Sour Chicken with Egg fried rice. Yummy, with the 10% off if order on with their website, tasty food at excellent price! and they have £5 lunch boxes, too. Thank you.
