Coffee machine was broken but besides that a clean and welcome Maccys.

Delivery drivers bring this place down. Consistently damaged or inedible orders as the drivers hang around and get multiple ordered from multiple places and the delivery companies couldn’t care less.

Went in to McDonald’s in the evening after 8pm. Ordered from the quick pay and ordered my food for myself and my 3 children. A friendly worker by the name of Jacob asked me if the kids would like ballon’s. The 2 youngest said yes and he went and bought them back and gave them ballon’s. We sat down and got table service. Jacob then asked the kids if they wanted to do colouring. Again the kids said yes and he brought them each a pack of crayons and a sheet of paper with a dinosaur to colour in. Jacob then brought our food over and asked us if we needed anything else. Kids said they wanted dips and he brought back more than we needed. Just wanted to write a really good review on this man by the name of Jacob. Thank you for making us feel welcome and looking after us all. 5 stars for his hospitality and excellent customer service. I give the food a 3 stars as some food wasn’t tasty as it should be but Jacob gets a solid 5. Keep up the good work Jacob your a credit to mackie d’s Walton on Thames.

We ordered via mobile app. After delivery we noticed that book and toy from Happy Meal was missing, also no straws for drinks at all. Two packs of fries were inedible salty. Called phone number on receipt, managed talk with someone after fourth attempt, who sounded very kind and polite. Unfortunately they couldn’t sort out the problem. Suggested to try mobile app, but customer service didn’t work. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We took the lesson.

This is possibly the worst McDonald’s ever, back 5 years ago it use to be really good the food was hot and orders were always on point. Now the food comes stone cold always items missing and neither Uber or McDonald’s take responsibility. My last 4 orders have come freezing cold due to the Uber eats drivers sitting at McDonald’s waiting for other orders while each order has been missing an item of value £6+ each time which adds up over orders especially if not refunded. Uber eats don’t refund cold food which means money is being wasted aswell as the food. The fryer for the chips seems to need changing as the chips always come out pale and soggy, the drinks machine always seems to serve flat fizzy drinks. Unfortunately this McDonald’s needs a serious revamp.

Horrendous experience combined with Uber, food missing( portion of fries and cookie) half portions of fries in containers, COLD FOOD. At some point responsibility needs to taken and the combined effort of two global companies need to be addressed.

Parking big issue here,very busy and too many delivery drivers,not the same macdonalds anymore avoid if you can.

Severe food poisoning, although tasty, within 12hrs and not consuming any other food stuffs woke up bad headache vomiting and diarrhea... avoid.. as burger king's down the road

EVERY single time I've ordered a breakfast or regular meal it's always wrong. Things I pay extra for are missing or I get the complete wrong order. I can't remember the last time they got it right. Food is always great but ffs get an order right for once.

Quick delivery but shows how much the workers are stuck in routines when they deliver food! My friend and I only had drinks, but as soon as they were put down we were asked 'do you want sauce'! Clearly employees are made to ask so regularly it becomes habit. Overall good experience though

Food was quickly delivered to the table and was warm and tasty. The guys on the floor, David, Humza and Jacob always work hard to clean up after people (who don’t do it themselves), chat and clean up the tables/floor. They’re kind and helpful and it’s a good place with kids.

Fed up with Walton McDonald’s. I have ordered via Deliveroo and yet again missing food. I’m sick and tired Walton McDonald’s forgetting parts of our meals. This time no fries with our meals. What is the point of me ordering side sauces and have nothing to dip in. Also no straws which is not a big deal, but tarnished our meals and the McDonald’s experience. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN. With Deliveroo or Walton McDonald.

Really not happy with this place.. order 3 large chips .. along with other food .. the chips were no way a large !! .. don't order 4 delivery.. those order of chips were a joke!!

I always go here with my friends and it never fails to disappoint. The service is exquisite and the food quality is excellent. Highly recommend

Food is always yummy! Friendly, helpful staff, easy digital ordering system. My Mom is only sad they don't have dispensers for Mayonnaise as well. But the Big Mac satisfies her craving for Mayonnaise. She just finds it too big. Great to find a smaller beef burger version. I was also surprised at how delicious the hot chocolate was.

They always mess up the order. Always missing items or items replaced. Absolutely horrible

This is the worst delivery I've ever had. The order arrived hot drinks empty from being spilled and 3 McMuffins meals without the McMuffins just empty wrappers! Some where along the line there automated system seemed to think we want 3 x invisible McMuffins. Is there anyone with half a brain cell working there who might think as they are packing this order up, did the customer really order 3 x McMuffins with EVERYTHING removed? or has something gone wrong? Hmmm I wonder.

I didn’t even eat here but I had to leave a review bc the person who helped me absolutely deserves a shout out. I have a 2 year old who is potty training and it was our first time going out and about without a nappy. This employee (thinking maybe a manager?) spotted me and took the initiative to show me the disabled toilet and unlock it for me. On our way out when I mentioned my son had been successful with potty training, she enthusiastically praised him and gave him one of the happy meal toys as a treat for a job well done. It honestly made my and my sons day and made me tear up. If you read this, thank you so much.

All Mcdonalds are the same setup etc. But as I was eating there I noticed a gentleman called Luke who worked there doing table service, very polite, helpful, overall a hard worker. Well done Luke for being you (: There was also a lady who worked there handing out the balloons to children which was very sweet!

I went to this McDonald's today and after ordering my food and collecting it, I found a table. On opening the burger it was squashed and the cheese was hanging out and not cooked, it was the same for the two other cheese burgers. The chips were on the small size for a medium fries. The restaurant wasn't busy so I can't work out why the burgers were so awful. "They never look like the adverts you see from McDonald's". Maybe give this McDonald's a miss in the future.

Delivery was presented to us in a Waitrose plastic bag and was stone cold. So we paid for absolutely nothing!

This is the worst mcdonalds I've ever been to. So many Uber drivers they didn't have time to prepare food of anyone else. After 20mins I just walked out.

Ordered chicken selects and nuggets from here on Deliveroo. They forgot to send the dips, and then Deliveroo refuses to give a refund.

Just ordered on just eat a order for nearly £20 for me not to receive my order this is not acceptable and you need better drivers I’m only round the corner aswell.

Was very busy with a huge line for self service kiosks. Some of the food was hot - like just cooked hot, whilst the rest was warm at best. Food took a while as it seems that deliveries take priority over people actually in the restaurant. When food came the server was nice and polite although run off her feet especiallyas quite a few customers decided that walking to the bin a few feet away was hard work and left all their rubbish on tables.

Ironically this review asked me what I got from the restaurant, the answer is nothing! I downloaded the app to order food for collection. Ordered, paid and left to drive to the restaurant. After showing an employee my code they said please stand to one side, they were obviously under the impression my food was being prepared. As was I! After 10 minutes and no food I asked what was happening and they asked to see my QR code, which they scanned. I then got a notification stating they now had my code and once again we were both under the impression my order was being prepared. Another few minutes and I checked that it was in fact being prepared. Nothing had been received that they could see on their system so yet again no food of mine was being prepared. This was not at all any fault of the people working there! Entirely the app and in house systems fault. It was so frustrating that I will not be going back into McDonalds in Walton on Thames ever again if I can avoid it!

Sometimes they get the delivery items incorrect but they are very busy and only human so understandable. If all the food turns up then it is great just be wary at peak times they may forget a burger or two.

Second time ordered breakfast from the app with Walton McDonald’s and for the second time the Breakfast wrap was missing from the order. Also other items were barley warm when they arrived.

David is a credit to this branch of Mcdonands's the service and quality of the food is 10 times better when he is on shift and is always friendly and welcoming

Again for the second time bing in the line to be served the staff decided to take another customer order while was waiting for my turn this is twice now that this happen and I will not come here again not onless they get the right staff to work

Waited over an hour and a quarter for a Just Eat breakfast for three people this morning. Unacceptable. Unsurprisingly all food arrived cold.

They used to be good here but of late standards have been slipping. The burgers are just being thrown together without care, I got no salt on my fries last time, the food is quite often getting cold and I even got pickle in my burger when I ordered it without. Good job I wasn't allergic to them. They also got the order wrong of woman in front of me. 5 years on and it's no better,i also forgot to mention that it's almost impossible to get a milkshake from here and this is still the case too, for some reason they are virtually never available whether it be afternoon, early evening,busy or not busy, unbelievable! I'm surprised that McDonalds don't take this place in hand but I guess if it's making money they just don't care!

I've been back since everything was terrible and these guys seem to have really upped their game. Thank you McDonald's Walton, thank you for listening, I've changed my review to 5 stars. Keep up the good work. The staff you have now are exceptionally helpful and really make for a great meal.

The food is nice but it is really busy and the service is pretty slow but other than that it’s fine

Typical McDonald's except the floor staff are extremely friendly. Very hectic on a Friday afternoon!

Very clean and friendly staff. Good COVID-19 protocol in place. I felt safe. However the food could be better presented. A lot of visible oil on the breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, my friend and I found out very hard to find a clean table while the cleaner looked on. Eventually we sat and flicked crumbs off the chair.

If only they would get your order right first time save you going back and some of your order getting cold… seems to be the way the world is going at the moment, everyone rush’s and just doesn’t take a moment, I’d rather you were slower but right. Just an opinion.

This branch is getting worse by the day when it comes to service. I have ordered twice recently and on both occasions, they accept and keep extending the time and the food never gets delivered. Never going back!!!

Absolute rubbish. Food turned up over an hour late. They didn't think to re do the order and happily took my money and delivered the food stone cold. It had been left all that time and I couldn't eat it. No refund and no apology from the Just Eat driver . Just Eat said they'd give me a refund but that never happened. Diabolical

Ordered 3 breakfasts and the reason for my poor score is when we got back to the car we each opened our muffins to find cheese. Only cheese. Seriously, has anyone ever order a cheese-only mcmuffin? We certainly didn't. Went back to ask them to make what we ordered but obviously, someone in McDonald's thought this was a joke.

We STUPIDLY ordered a meal to be delivered. Not only was the food cold on arrival but they forgot my youngests’ happy meal. So she had to wait while we re ordered another as I couldn’t get to the restaurant to get it sorted (which I’ve had to do before!) Then after 40 minutes the WRONG ORDER turns up!!! WTAF McDonald’s!!?? Your staff are incompetent inbreds!! DO NOT GET HOME DELIVERY!!

If you're going to order anything for delivery from this place then don't bother. Consistently they have missed out one or two items each time from each order. If it wasn't for deliveroo and Uber eats refunding me I'd be out of pocket each time. If you want to actually receive what you ordered each time. I'd recommend going elsewhere like KFC or subway down the road. Atleast they deliver all of the items on the order and in a reasonable time

This is an awful McDonald’s. The food is fine but the people who work here are SO SLOW !!! They spend most their time talking and having fun instead of working and it takes 20 minutes just to get a few items! It’s often dirty with unclean tables and food on the floor so it’s hard finding somewhere to sit But the main problem is the workers are awful… they are also so rude to customers whenever someone complains about how long it’s taking, especially the women who work there… they get so defensive and just plain rude!! Such bad service

Love it for a short quick snack. Can get a salad and fruit and make it healthy. An huge improvement. I know it is not super healthy The best place to eat on a hot day. The best air con ever, I love mcflurry without the flurry just plain. I love the porridge breakfast and salad and wrap. You guess I don't eat burgers. I do like the vegan burgers but a bit too salty. We need a gluten free option and a low salt option then there is more choice.

It's been a few years since I last visited a McDonald's. My, it has gone down hill! Food was very average. If someone gave me a chicken mcnugget and told me it was some kind of potato cake, I wouldn't have questioned it for a second. Not a clean table in the place.

The bags are sealed for delivery but yet again not all the food ordered has been delivered.

I ordered a large big mac meal and they messed up the order once, so I kindly told them that my order was wrong. They then proceeded to give me a smaller portion of each item on the order.

If you want a milkshake then don't bother going here. The milkshake machine has worked once in two weeks. They need a new machine but owner won't pay for it as too expensive. Useless.

I've only given this place a 2nd chance as it's the closest McDonald's unless I want to sample the delights of the M25 and I've loved the strawberry milkshake since I was a kid. However you've got a better chance of winning the lottery than getting a milkshake in this place, the machine is never working. Plus I get a hot burger and luke warm chips or vice versa, never both at a decent temperature. The older staff that work here are very nice but sorry they can't make up for its overall lack of quality. Think I'll risk the M25 than come back here........

Food was left hanging around far to long so when you got it, it was limp and cold, chips were even colder. My partner had a bacon double cheeseburger it was dry and the bacon barely cooked. It was awful. Loads of staff doing everything except what they should be doing. Everyone was complaining. It will be a while before I go back

It was difficult to relax and enjoy our dinner because of the usual group of trouble makers who the manager was trying hard to remove. All credit to her, she was amazing but McDonald's need to do a better job of supporting their staff. It's too much to expect one female to take on and remove a whole gang of intimidating young male thugs. Perhaps it's time to employ security?

Placed order at 4:20pm,eta was 4:40pm to 5:05. Called McDonalds and spoke to the supposed manager who I told at 6:30pm not to hand over to just eat as my gf and son had to eat something else and my son was in bed. Totally ignored and "The manager" sent it out. They knew full well I had requested a refund but obviously didn't like the idea of losing profit. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there as I think their a little useless.

Excellent service. Jacob went the extra mile today, making an effort to talk to my children and gave them some colouring to do, a balloon and a flag each. Lovely staff here. Everytime we have come, everyone has been so lovely. Highly recommended. Jacob deserves a gold star for excellent service.

Usual food, but this McD branch is always (about 4 visits in 12 months) really slow. Tonight - order placed 19.06 and received 19.22. At least twice the time of other (Redhill & Salfords) branches I visit.

My order was: Large fries Vegan burger Chili cheese bites Two bottles of water Instead I got: One cheese burger A large Diet Coke Large fries Yup they completely messed up my order FYI the food was also very cold!

This has to be the worst, I mean the very worst McDonald's in Walton High Street there is. I was there with my children, and when I picked up our food, they were all cold, so walked back to the counter and complained. They took my food and bought more cold food over, so back to the counter I go, and some guy tells me that he made it himself, I asked him to touch the burger so he could feel that it was not hot. This has happened many times, and still no change with its service. What a waste of money. I'd love to know who I could take this up with. These cold burgers are going to be the cause of food poision for many people. Something needs to be done about this. If you can't run a takeaway, the way it should, which can't provide hot foods, but does provide dirty tables with sauce marks all over it. Your staff are not trained in food hygiene and if you think they are, then you are highly mistaken. Whoever overseas everything in that place needs training to take ownership of these issues , and it's staff, the staff are a reflection of its manager and how they choose to run it. They seem to lack experience, look at your negative reviews. This place should be shut down. If you want bad food, bad service,dirty tables, cold burgers, even very possibly food poision, if you are happy to throw money away into this franchised business, then this is the place for you.

Had a delivery and they left out the majority of the order and when trying to call customer services just got hung up on. Disappointed. The delivery driver was nice though

Well, much like all these other reviewers, more often than not there are multiple missing items from my order. Had this on many occasions at this point, I just wonder how it is possible to mess up this much for so long to still have no change made at all.

Lazy Staff, Poor Communication, Second time iv ordered from here first time was terrible but gave them benefit of doubt and this time ordered £30+ with them and i ordered 4 sauces which never came but got charged for, all four drinks were flat just syrup in a cup
