Was recommended by a friend was not disappointed now my go to Chinese

I have tried lots of takeaways and have to say the food was fresh hot and tasty full of flavour. It was delivered on time and was great portions if you haven’t tried them I would highly recommend to use them. I will be a returning customer 👍👍

30+ minutes late after said was on its way,food was cold,no apology off driver,phone shop,no apology.. I would not recommend.

Good quality food, still hot even though delivery was over 2 hours from time of ordering, so that was good. Chicken curry and chicken balls spot on. Unfortunately I ordered a pork chow mein and I received what I believe was a house special with bits of pork, chicken, beef and prawns in. We kept it as we didn't want to wait longer for delivery of the correct food. Chow mein was mostly okay but was heavy on the charcoal taste, which I think was from the chicken.

I had 1 thing missing from my order and it was 45 minutes late otherwise everything else was ok there was no apology for it being late

Ordered 6.44pm. Expected delivery 8.15-8.35. Delivered 9.05pm

food was good but took 2 hours from ordering to be delivered

we had ordered 2hours ppreviously but then was an hour over the due time given bu this time we were not feeling hungry so it spoilt our night and my partner had also gone to bed due to having to get up eearly so o e of the meals wasn't eaten so was very annoyed and disappointed and a waste of my money

The food was good when it finally arrived. Restaurant offered refund through just eat due to delay, awaiting this

The food was cold when it arrived to the point where we were unable to eat it. The curry sauce was so thick it was congealed. We had to add hot water to it to be able to pour it.

I've had deliveries run late before but 2 hours is shocking. still hasn't been delivered and its marked as delivered. If the food is cold I'll be asking for a refund.

I didn't get prawn crackers my order

Crispy beef was very dry and the sauce was missing, also no sauce with the chicken balls

The chilli beef was inedible -dry tasted burnt and no sauce

Absolutely delicious. The duck was cooked absolutely perfectly, crispy and not an ounce of fat. The chicken chow mein was gorgeous, chicken had an almost chargrill taste to it and again - not an ounce of grease to it. Will use again.

Just ordered a chicken ommlette with chips. Happy with phone customer service and delivery time. Wait, the chicken was absent from the ommlette, discrasful. My wife and I shared its and she found one piec, and I found 2. £9 for this crap. I'm not going back there again.

Counter girl was absolutely incredible, best customer service around and the food was outstanding!

was charged twice and only recieved one order went to just eat website and was told I will not get a refund will never ever use again £50 for a chicken chow mein is a rip off. a. now going legal route

Service was ok but food terrible. Seems to of gone downhill recently.

The beef and tomato came with two meats in looked like chicken. As I don't eat Chicken ruined my meal.

I would like someone to contact me regarding this issue of waiting over an hour and a half for my order . I appreciate it’s a Saturday night but I would at least except a text from the company themselves informing me of this.

We placed a large order of lemon and orange chicken which was dry, sauces which were watery, duck wraps which were salty and scrapy, chicken chop seuy which was watery, chicken curry which the sauce was congealed and chips which were dry. We definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Pre ordered for 1830hrs, arrived 17mins late.

Hi. We ordered our takeaway at 4.45 but there was a mix up at the restaurant. The owner finally delivered our meal at 7.00. He was apologetic and said to contact just eat for a partial refund. He couldn't do it but said I could contact yourselves.

Ordered Satay chicken but when I collected it and got home it was chicken and pineapple. It tasted good but was not what I ordered

Been coming to this Chinese for the last 24yrs and tonight will be our last take away. Last couple of meals wasn't that good, so tonight we said we would try again and was really disappointed 😞Was told there would be an hour and a half wait as they were busy and we were ok with that. The Chips were very soggy and didn't taste nice, beef chow mein was very salty, chicken balls were tasteless, dry inside and very tiny and had hardly any chicken in them. Pancake rolls were tiny and full of pepper which was very strong and couldn't eat them.

Don’t get customer service like this anywhere else, the guys are so lovely here and go above and beyond. There is a plethora of Chinese takeaways to choose from in Lincoln and we have tried many over the years but never found one that beats Orient - we are glad it is our local! Tonight they forgot to pack one of our items in the order but called us to let us know before we’d even got home and came out to deliver it to us straight away all within 5 minutes. Would highly recommend! Thank you :)

We order from these guys near enough every week. Never had a bad meal or any issues with anything. Excellent menu choice and always delivered hot.

Had good meals before but not this time. Chicken totally dried out and inedible. So it was rice and prawn crackers for dinner... :( Estimated time was 45mins, it ended up being 90.

Lovely food as always, so much flavour and piping hot.

Was given a wrong order, asked for a special which was egg fried rice, chips and gravy but was given curry sauce. I think they need to cut back on the salt too as mine and a friends chicken chow mein was over powered with salt and couldn't eat it all.

First time using Orient but will definitely order again. food was hot on arrival delivered earlier than expected, but had a customer service call to advise me.excellent!

Ordered salt and pepper chicken and ribs. Whilst they were nice. They appeared to just have the seasoning shoved on top of them as they were packaged. It wasn't mixed in as it was cooked/heated. Food was edible and fine but just how it should have been served. It's a shame really as we came to you due to the reviews. Delivery was on time though.

Good food excellent service well worth the money

due to unfortunate circumstances our order arrived late this was through no fault of the restaurants, however we was kept updated and our food arrived hot, tasty and the staff were amazing! I would highly recommend. 5 stars all round!

Delivered perfectly on time. Order was nice and hot, we just found it very salty, particularly the chicken and black bean. I season things heavily and I couldnt handle much at all much so I don't think it was just a question of taste. Sorry :(

Foods always great and always hot. Usually delivery times are spot on but this time it was a little late. Olly the chef bought a chow mein out to us thinking it was missing from our order, which it wasn't and apologised for the lateness. Lovely man? Thanks Olly

Even though the delivery was late, it was still very hot. Food was tasty , no issues would order from again.

Rang to say can we deliver early which was what we wanted. Food was great as normal.

Been coming to Orient for year but tonight’s was even better than usual. Szechuan King Prawn and Special Chow Mein were especially good. Fresh veg for the satay and perfectly done sweet and sour chicken.

Food ISN'T AS GOOD AS IT USED 2 B !!! S&S pork balls WERE not even fully cooked. 1 on bailgate WAS always d best "but closed now unfortunately"..

Incredibly disappointed with the quality of the food, don't usually have any issues but the chips were overdone and had clearly been sat there, the rice was dry and the curry sauce was tasteless and congealed. It's an expensive Chinese restaurant nowadays which makes it even worse.

Not orded for a few months usually very good however just had a delivery on time but not as good rice was like porridge the rest was average and all was luke warm shame as we did like this Chinese takeaway.

Fab little take away never had a complaint or issue with any of their food. The staff are always friendly and the food is always piping hot. I especially like the salt and pepper chips but they do a fantastic prawn curry.

Awful not usual standards, chips appeared like left over re headed and chewy, Cantonese sweet and sour chicken was dreadful dry and chewy, beef curry well the beef if that's what it was just could not eat it made your jaws ache trying, we have had better, very very disappointed to the point we will not be ordering again

The best Chinese takeaway I have EVER been to. Tasting food like that I will definitely order from here again, I live half an hour away from the restaurant but the food is too good to miss out on. The food was gorgeous and tasted so fresh, service was great, staff were polite, food was done in good time. I loved every part of my meal.

Worst Chinese take away I've ever eaten, arrived in about half an hour so suspect it wasn't freshly cooked as we're a 15 minute drive away. Duck was dry, chow mein tasteless and about 6 pieces of chicken, was lukewarm at best just overall disappointing.

Food not to bad .meat in special curry very tough needs cooking more where was the prawns???.had one .good job i likes mushrooms

Have always had super takeaways & never anything I could fault.

meat was dried out huge chunks and inedible in 2 different meals . It all went in the bin as definitely wasn't fresh . Standards have definitely gone downhill .won't be returning .

Never had to jump through so many hoops just to order a bloody takeaway 🙄
