King Shawarma in Lincoln

I had recently been dissappointed with other restaurants in Lincoln, so I thought I would try somewhere new. The second I had my first bite of schwarma I knew I had made the right decision!!! It was juicy, full of flavour, fast and filling. Thank you very much King Schawarma!

Try on your own risk ordered mix platter chicken was ok but lamb kebab and lamb chops was smelly & not properly cooked

The food is good and the bread is fresh from Tanour, but I noticed that the shawarma remained at the end of the time, and this is evidence that the shawarma gets hot and is not fresh every day. Some of the food is uncovered on the table. There is no attention paid to the cleanliness of the place. It needs reviewing, but it is good in general.

A halal restaurant with delicious food. It has fresh bread upon request and delicious shawarma

Worst customer service! We ordered separate food but every thing was almost same. Food was cold (both chicken and nan)and the person at the till didn’t bother to take note of what each of us require. Wouldn’t recommend!

Such a poor service. This place was different few months ago. Now the service is the worst. The food was cold. The chicken was dry. The worst place that i have been recently. Wouldn’t recommend anyone here.

I'm in a city for work and I was looking for good food. Food is great here. I try almost everything. Services is ok, but don't expect 5 star restaurant and guys are alright. I'm a simple person. Anything you need you can ask

I was there a year ago and it wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad, but now the portions are a joke. I ordered 4 portions of shawarma for 4 people, they were so small that it looked as if two portions were made into 4 portions, overall the food was poor, at this price it's absolutely not worth it! They want to save on quantity and do not realize that they are losing a customer because, for example, I will not come back there...

Food is not bad,but the saff is horrible.treat you like put food on front of an animal. I read the comments and go there because is halal. Sorry for my choice.

Nice kurdish restaurant located in the heart of Lincoln. Tried the chicken shawarma wrap. It tasted great but not the best. It was filling. Shawarma : 4/5 Staff: 3/5 Parking : not available.

Used to be my favourite restaurant, but now with the new owners. The food is overpriced and the portions are too small.

Food was burned, the table was not clear enough, and no one asked do you needed anything else. Behind our table, someone used and didn't clear that table until we paid.

It was the worst experience I have ever had. Shawarma was oily not good at all . Service is so bad and stuff are rude as well . Atmosphere in the restaurant gives you negative energy and depression 🫥 I don't recommend it at all

Friendly service, delicious food, a really good menu.

Ordered from Lincoln eats, meat shawarma with chips and a falafel wrap. No falafel wrap after I’d ordered so originally asked me to pay £1.50 extra despite already having paid but I didn’t have cash so said it was okay, a discount. Food arrived 1.15 hours after ordering, it was cold, not all there. Called to sort it out and was “put on hold” for 5 mins so hung up, tried calling back but no answer. Won’t order again.

Very Expensive Meat was not cooked well

£35 mixed plate grill is only for 2 people only. I believe it's quite costly compare to this price. Taste is average and there was no much rice in the bowl. No starters as soup, No fries, no sauce or hummus.

A little gem, great food and service. Can't wait to go back.

Best chicken tikka shish I have ever had!

Disappointed with tonights Shawarma Wraps. Only chicken left, salads nearly empty at 6pm....food was tasteless even with chilli sauce....shame it's gone down hill.

I ordered shwarma in naan. Naan was too crispy and thin, one side of naan was uncooked. Shwarma was dry and cold Will never recommend this place

Went there to eat! I would say worst experience in my life. First of all dirty place . Secondly, They gave me old and cold naan , and chicken was also too cold and hard . When I asked them why they gave me old food? In reply, they were very rude , they said we don’t have fresh naan, stuff behaviour was worst , Moreover, low quality food and dirty place and stuffs are more worse . They don’t know how to behave with customers. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL , VERY LOW QUALITY FOOD, WITH LOW QUALITY BEHAVIOUR.

So we ordered the chicken shwarma and chip. The place was easy to find, on the main road. Parking around the side. The guy was polite and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food. Once it came, it was nice. It wasn't too dry or too hard. Overall a decent dinner.

Ordered chicken tikka and chicken wings, both were burnt and dry. Chicken wings were off, I have had stomach cramps, dirty toilets, won't be visiting there. Terrible food

Today I visited this place. Ordered chicken Shi's tikka. On the picture shows with rice and nice salad and Nan. The chicken black burnt, No rice. Salad is only few slice lettuce, white onion, and a handful Jalapeno peppers and 3 slice cucumber from 3 days ago. ( Sorry if i order salad what is on the picture, i dont wanna eat Tin Jalapeno) Only good thing is the Nan bread. I asked staff member how is working, would you like to pay in restaurant for this? And he show me the card reader. £7. Absolutely horrible. Staff not friendly Never again

Very disappointed, I only had 2 bites as it was very difficult to eat. The chicken tasted off and the place smelled of a motorway public toilet. They have a hot oven stone to cook the naan bread but they lazily serve cold naans. They also don't stock sugar-free cans like diet coke or coke zero.

Went to eat in this place. It’s proper dirty and filthy. Table, chairs and even menu are dirty (Pieces of meat found in menus; attached pic). Spoke to staff and had no response or even apologies for the mess! Awful smell and unfriendly stuff. Not recommended at all.

£3.50 for a good sized Chicken Sharwarma to eat-in. My favourite 'kebab shop'

I WOULD GIVE MINUS 1000 STARS IF IT LET ME!! Really really disappointed... customer service was bad and the worst ive ever experienced. we all threw up ! Food tasted a week old and off. We had an argument.. "if you dont wanna pay then leave" in a disrespectful manner..So decided to leave and we did .. while walking out we got assulted by the staff.. grabbed my fiance by the hair and grabbed me by the arm. Luckily the police were there and saw everything. One of the staff wanted to fight me... bad experience! I do not recommend! Avoid this place everyone!!!

Enjoyed the Lamb Shawarma so much that had to call again a second night. Excellent food and very friendly, helpful and polite staff, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will definitely be a regular customer, thankyou.

Unfortunately, had a very horrible experience. Was planning to have lunch here to celebrate birthday with my family (6 members). I went to the restaurant at 1.45pm and ordered full mixed platter (£43.50) to be ready for 2.30pm. Arrived with family 2.45pm and the restaurant completely forgot about the order. Some words were exchanged loudly between the chef and the other staff. Didn't even apologie, we waited for them to prepare the order. When the order came it was completely different to that on the menu, no lamb chops, half the portion of other stuff and when enquired they said the chef modified the order, as per his liking, didn't even bother to inform us . Unfortunately, the food too was not up to the standard, noticed this was a different chef and not the usual one. They still charged us the full price. Please don't get me wrong. Their food is usually good (that's y I chose to have the birthday meal there) but looks like there is no consistency, and they lack customer service skills and are disorganised. This experience has put me off and will probably will not be going there for a long time. This feedback is not to deter others from visiting them but is to raise this issue with the business owners that good customer base is formed by good customer service. I hope they learn from this feedback.

Lovely Chicken Shawarma. Hubby had the Lamb Quzi. Was really nice. The meat fell of the bone.

King Shawarma is always fantastic food at a reasonable price. Consistent quality unlike pubs which varies daily.

Great food at affordable prices, my only problem is it takes long time to get served.

When I see how much food you got for the prices I thought it was going to be poor quality... It was however one odd the nicest kebabs I've ever had! 2 freshly made naans, salad, meat and sauces for £6. Absolute bargain, so fresh and so nice!

Food is good, but takes too long to serve, when you are eating in. There were only two of us inside the restaurant but it took them almost 35 mins to serve the food.

Just called in there for lunch and treated myself to a mixed Shawarma with fries and salad £4.50. It came with a fresh bread of a type I've not tried before and it was lovely. The meats were cut fresh and it was served with a a really good and varied salad. When itcomes to food outlets it comes down to one simple question with me. Would I go back? I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Poor service, no organisation, not Turkish or Arabic. The greasy food left me with a mouth infection and feeling ill for almost a week. Will be contacting the authorities to investigate.

Atmosphere is beautiful and very welcoming, The food is incredible I highly recommend lamb soup and okra soup so fresh and delicious, Homemade bread to order. Great portion sizes, lovely quality.

We happen to be in town few hour, headed to King Shawarma for halal meal, disappointed due to non availability of Pizza despite on menu, so left without food. So if you want Pizza, King Shawarma is not a place to be considered.

Really nice food and great member of staff. I really love Kurdish dishes and this restaurant served us really well. The restaurant is generally clean but it needs a little bit of refurbishment and the toilet is a must reconsider. Other than these two everything is brill.

Bow down to the King! Best lamb and chicken shawarma I've ever had and the salad is fresh and tasty. The breads are amazing, baked freshly to order and always delicious. All dishes are very reasonably priced. I wish this restaurant was open later, but it's well worth the effort to get there early.

Excellent food here. I take my kids here all the time and they love the food. Not greasy at all and the best kebab around!! Doesn’t leave you feeling horrible after like some kebabs do! Always get freebies and the prices are amazing too!! Along with friendly staff

Monstrous portions, tasty shawarmas, fresh and quickly made, highly customisable with your ability to pick exactly what you want and how much of it as they make it.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Lincoln. It is maybe a little basic on comfort and decor, and perhaps quite humble in their menu, but it is an extremely friendly place. It's clearly very popular with the locals, and the prices are unbelievably low. I eat their with my wife and kids, and the bill is very often less than a tenner. The food tastes good. It is simply a good honest cafe with amazing value for money. Do give it a try.
