Orient in Lincoln

Excelente comida para llevar - la comida era deliciosa, caliente y sabrosa y el personal de saludo impecable servicio - en particular la chica rubia que era excepcionalmente bien educada y encantadora. Lo usaré como mi habitual para comida china a partir de ahora, recomendaría.

Tengo pollo curry y patatas fritas. El Curry era como gelatina y de mal gusto. Luke cálido cuando se abrió y eso fue solo después de 2 minutos en coche a casa en el coche! ¡Las patatas fritas estaban presumiblemente fritas! La primera vez usando aquí - Y LA ÚLTIMA.

Esta es mi segunda y última visita a Oriente. 1 visita a la calle estaba bien, nada increíble, pero era un plato sabroso, lo suficientemente agradable para que lo intentara de nuevo. Mi segunda experiencia será la última. El plato sabía tan químicamente, que la verdura estaba empapada y viscosa. La comida no estaba caliente. Los fideos estaban todos agrupados y pastosos. Me desperté por la noche con un intenso dolor de estómago. Espero que puedan arreglar sus problemas y hacerlo bien, pero no volveré.

La salsa agridulce era muy fina y no sabía igual de normal el pollo agridulce no era crujiente como normal Todo estaba bien, pero no tan bien como lo normal

Excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to help us with a Just Eat issue, to ensure it was resolved. Food was excellent too! Will go back again.

Always use this chinese. Never had a bad meal .usually get it delivered never have to wait to long either.... . ... ........

Friendly helpful service, free very fresh and tasty prawn crackers , and was very satisfied with my meal will eat here again

While visiting family we opted to have a Takeaway. My family had always used The Orient when they lived in the area. We ordered on line in the morning for delivery at 5.30 on New Years Eve, our delivery came at 5.40. The food came piping hot with a wonderful aroma. Every dish was tasty an excellent portion size, my favourite was the Singapore Vermicelli, which was excellent, as were all the dishes. Excellent service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

There was a clitch on Just Eat resulting in our food not getting delivered. It was clear it was not Orients issue but manager provided fresh order and delivered it himself. A rare example these days of excellent customer service and excellent food as well

Something really weird happened with our order which wasn’t our fault or the fault of Orient…the problem set the driver back over an hour & we still hadn’t had our food. The manager quickly had a fresh order cooked and delivered to us personally, apologising for something he or us had the answer too. Clearly custom service really matters to Orient…& the food was delicious always!

Management back in safe hands with the original family team. Friendly and efficient service and excellent food which was hot and tasty. Highly recommended.

Awful - food was over an hour later than specified - & very limited response from the company when we phoned.

Was told 50 minute wait on food to be delivered, ending up being over 3 hours and no phone call when it had arrived at our reception, was just left there Rude on the phone and didn’t eat until half 10 when we ordered just gone 7 Food was nothing special

Rang to place order so I wasn’t waiting too long. Was told 15 minutes. I got there after 10 minutes and 2 people came in ordered their food and was out before me. I complained but the very young girl did not understand. A man then tried to explain it was because what I had ordered could not be cooked until I arrived. Yet 2 others still came in and out after me. I asked for a partial refund but was given all my money back and no food by a woman that did not speak English and totally ignored me. So rude

We called in to the Orient to order a meal for 4 and were greeted by a lovely young lady, who took our order. We ordered beef curry, 2 special curry & lemon chicken, all were inedible, the curry was more like a beef stew, brown, but tasteless & the lemon chicken was very dry & overcooked. We have had meals from here previously that were OK, so we phoned to say we were not happy & to let them know. Our complaint was not received or handled very well, they seemed to think we were just trying to get a free meal, which we were not. Our taste buds seemed to be getting the blame. The Orient arranged to collect the remains of the meals, but when we called in later they seemed to think the food was acceptable and that we were just complaining for th e sake of it. They did however, show us a book full of complaints they had received about their food as far as this was concerned I thought it just strengthened our view. No apology or refund, credit note etc was offered. We will never go there again!

We ordered our takeaway , were told cash payment only , when plated up our food looked conjealed and upon tasting was indeed awful , we rang The Orient to advise them as we've used them many times prior to this and all was well , we were advised by the lady who answered the call that our call would be returned by someone who could help , as promised our call was returned by a very angry young man who accused us of " pulling a fast one " as lots of other people had done recently ... had he thought for a moment that maybe it's because of his awful food ? However upon his instruction we returned our food to its containers and it was collected by a driver , the aforementioned angry man then called us to say we were not having any credit or financial compensation which we didn't ask for ! Nor an apology as he said the food we had been sent was fine and he can't cook for all tastes all this was said in a very threatening aggresssive manner . Upon looking online to check it wasn't just us we noticed reviews of only one or two stars during the last two months ...has this takeaway changed hands recently ? We won't be using it ever again .
