I didn't like the food. The beef chow main was greasy and the honey chicken was dry. The squid was nice tho.

The Singapore noodles was not made properly ie without the correct flavouring ie masala.... AND to top it all off the amount of salt in the dish was outrageous.. Inedible!

Hygiene issues with food. Really very bad quality. We got a stomach ache after eating this rice. Never going to buy from here again. I would complain about claiming my money back.

Completely wrong order delivered told no driver to deliver the correct order had to go through just eat for refund and wait 5/7days for refund unsure why a company would take an order they could t fulfil

Large order (13 items) but was jampacked into just two skimpy bags. Because of this during transit several containers being squashed together expelled their contents. The bags leaked all over our floor & carpet when we carried them from the front door - one of our chowmein, curry sauce & sweet & sour sauce were a gloopy mess in the bottom of the bag totally inedible. The bill was £89 & out of that £2.09 was for bag & service charge so it would be an idea to pack in more bags or a box so the contents so the customer can enjoy all the food that they order!

Just ordered tonight and I have to say food was really good. Great portion 👍 great taste 👍 quick delivery. Plus complimentary prawn crackers and spring rolls...just wow...thank you. We are definitely going to be regulars 👍

Good food however the bag had opened and the curry sauce alongside the sweet chilli sauce had split all over the bag making the two items inedible

Awful !! Lady who answers phone is rude !! Order via just eat - called the restaurant asking why food was over 35 mins late to be told ‘driver take 2 orders’ and then hung up on ! Then refuses to answer the phone !!! First time using this restaurant and will use Lotus house in future … at least their food arrives !! AVOID !!

A little bit late, but well worth the wait. Best Chinese I’ve had in ages . Delivery was free and portions were very generous . Definitely my new go to for Chinese

The food wasnt up to scratch.....ordered shredded chicken was suppose to be spicy was bland, the smoked chicked tasted sweet, prawn chow mein was bland no seasoning on the actual prawns. Was edible but could have been better.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the food.. Vegetarian spring roll was hard. The special fried rice thai style was lumpy and pale in colour . I will not be ordering from this shop again

Love all the food. Would love the GRAVY to be ordered also with sauces. Can only get with one chow mein dish. Would live on other ones or to be able to order separately to add to dishes.

We have been using this Chinese for years but lately the quality of food as gone down. The only thing that was nice from the order were the free pancakes and the seaweed. The chicken balls were rock hard, the chicken chowmein was unfortunately so greasy that it has just turned to mush. King Prawns were like rubber so all in all the majority of it went into the bin, I'm not sure if it's the chefs that have changed or whether they are just using sub standard ingredients but it's such a shame as we won't be using again!

The food was awful. It seemed uncooked, unseasoned with bare meat in my dish. Its rather strange as I always order from them not sure what has happened this time.

The food was all amazing tasting fresh, warm and delicious the restaurant did fabulous, but disappointed with JustEat as the delivery was booked an hour ahead and arrived 11 minutes late!

I've been eating from this place for year's, until tonight my order arrived with a footlong black hair, intertwined in my chow mein. Kind of upset ngl 😷

Usually I never have a complaint about this place but tonight the duck I ordered was full of fat hardly any meat! Plus the seaweed tastes awful very surprised by this as it’s been my go to Chinese for a long time now! If it’s like this next time I will not order from here again! I’m hoping it was just a bad night! Feel my money has been slightly wasted! As won’t eat duck breast r seaweed!

Not much meat in special chow mein and what their was of it was mainly beef. Noodles tasted like they had just been rehydrated and not actually fried in a wok. BBQ sauce ribs were tasteless. Sauce was so bland it tasted like a cornflour fed water. Ribs were also quite chewy so hadnt been cooked enough prior to rehearing for service. Chips were undercooked and greasy. Very very disappointing. I wont order from here again.

I ordered a delivery with orchid blossom chinese and got charged £ 4.09 for delivery .but as I was near there restaurant I picked up order myself .so how do I get my delivery money back .

Just ordered from here off uber eats. The food had all spilled out, the driver said it came like that. The restaurant said it was the drivers fault and he was laughing at us. Absolutely disgraceful 😤

Most of the Chinese tasted like it was cooked with burnt fat. It had a horrible after taste. I only picked this Chinese as it was my 25th Wedding anniversary & it had the best reviews out of all open. It was meant to be a special treat for myself hubby & family.

I’ve been buying for some years well before my retirement. I’m happy to continue and know what’s decent when I see it. This is Chinese food.

Definitely, a LOT less oil and salt added to the dishes compared to other Chinese takeaways that we've had so far which is NICE. However, the taste was not quite like general Chinese Takeaway (?) We had Spiced King Prawn in Chilli. It was not spicy, but very sweet like Sweet and Sour sauce ?! Very weird, so as a Mixed Vegetables Stir Fry dish, it was very different taste and sweet. So we were not quite sure. Salt & Pepper Squid was very nice n crispy! We would like to have them again. Mixed review...

Food only fit for dustbin. Tasteless chow mein & everything really salty. Mixed Or'derves should atleast have 2 of everything. Ordered chips & curry sauce & arrived with chips already smothered in curry sauce.

The food was good with large portions. Chow mein a little bland could do with some more sauce, salt and pepper chips could have used some more pepper, but the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce were nice, so were the spring rolls and prawn crackers. Would order again.

I have had some good food from Orchid Blossom in the past but my last two orders have been very disappointing. This time it lacked flavour completely and the Plain chow mein was actually burnt. That's a first for me. It looked ok until I forked it up and in the centre it was quite black and hard. Warmed up from the day before?? The sweet and sour sauce has changed. It was not as it used to be and seemed like something I might buy in a can from the supermarket. The colour was very light red instead of the richer sauce it used to be. Such a shame as Orchid Blossom used to be pretty good.

Last night the food wasn’t nice as usual the rice and noodles meals was to soggy like no flavour in it also not sure was happening. I usually liked ordering their food but it’s changing which I don’t like.

Our order was so bland we couldn’t eat it. The barbecue sauce was flavourless and slime like. The chow mein noodles were eggy and tasted like pasta. The chips were cold and hard and the crispy shredded beef was not crispy at all. Everything was off, really gutted.

I am completely unsatisfied with this order. Not only was the food cold but it was delivered past my timeframe of 19:45. I was unable to enjoy my meal as the chips were so dry and cold, making it hard to even eat. I would like to request a refund as the condition I received the food is was unacceptable.

I used to order from Orchid Blossom for years and stopped because the standard dropped enormously. Tonight I tried it again and it was absolutely excellent. I read in the reviews it had new management. It was as good as any sit down restaurant I have used. It was not reheated as so many are. It was fresh, piping hot, tasty. Please keep it like this, always freshly cooked and never warmed up from the day before.
