Ooh La Laa in Leeds

Stopped off for late night food, had the fish and chips which were really good at a great price. Its a no frills fast food place but worth a visit for the fish alone.

Llegamos a Leeds después de un largo viaje, tarde y con mucha hambre, por lo que este fue el descubrimiento perfecto. El pescado se cocinó mientras esperábamos y fue el mejor pescado frito que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo: pescado húmedo y una pasta fina y crujiente. Buenas fichas también. Tienen algunas mesas para que pueda optar por sentarse, como lo hicimos nosotros. Barato por la calidad de la comida, sin duda volveremos si volvemos a Leeds.

In Leeds this week, found a little takeaway, and on the menu, kebab and chips, it was really nice, may not be the most healthiest way to finish the day, but well, it was nice anyway, next stop the gym, Lol

Always impressed with the value and the quality of the fish and chips. Friendly hard working staff. Our go to take away both for staying in and post going out

Comenzaré diciendo que llegamos entre la hora del almuerzo y la cena, ya que acabábamos de llegar y estábamos hambrientos a una hora extraña. Solo había un tipo de kebab disponible (cordero), apenas tibio, servido con papas fritas poco cocidas y una mala actitud. Puedes hacerlo mejor que aquí.

Went here last night...chips were raw, garlic sauce was tasteless and my hubby had an upset stomach all night from a cheeseburger! Should of been put off by the smell of the place...dirty smelly fat - really disappointed!

Not a bad kebab ,and chipshop chips ,filling and seems decent value,especially after a leeds blowout !

Called in here on our 1st night at Leeds from the hotel across the road.We were wanting pizza and deciding which one we were going to order when the guy behind the counter said we dont have any pizzas.So we just walked straight out.

Visited here with some friends in early evening, the guy working behind the counter seem to very stuck up anyhow we ordered food, we ordered 2 seekh kebab wraps and donner kebab with chips,nothing seemed right, seekh kebabs you could tell after the first bite that they'd been in microwave for long time and hence become like a rubber, chips very oily and seemed liked under cooked, donner however was OK, we didn't want any salad or sauce on donner kebab and yet the guy still bombards with loads of salad and sauce,upon asking the guy he replied I thought you asked salad and sauce. No apology whatsoever. Seemed to expensive for that sort of food, don't understand is if you're serving this kind of food at 5 in the evening them how would you be serving in later hours to those drunk revellers, it's a no no for again, I know there are plenty of kebab shops around town to visit if I fancy a good kebab.

We visited late at night and my mate reckons it was the best donner kebab he's ever had, if you ever saw him, you'd realise he knows what he's talking about.

Nos metimos en un bocado rápido después de un par de copas en el centro de la ciudad. Había un par de personas se sentaron y no tener que hacer cola o esperar mucho tiempo para nuestra comida.

food was good, only reason my review is average was because the guy tried to charge me twice, i paid after placing my order and he tried to charge me again when he gave me my food, the argument went on for about 10 minutes

Popped in to ask for menu ( was having a drink across the road) they don't do them!? Food OK for late night after a few drinks

リーズ駅の線路下？にあるアーチ型のお店です。fish & chipsにカレーソースをかけたのがお気に入り。カバブやバーガー類もありコーヒー、紅茶のみならずラテやエスプレッソもありラテが意外に美味しかったです。店内テーブルもありtake awayと両方可、地元の人が立ち寄ってます。 駅からすぐなのと夜遅くまで開いていて便利。
