Oodles - Watford in Three Rivers

I was hoping for an oriental food treat but viewing the restaurant all the chefs where Pakistani's immediately I knew this was not authentic Chinese food furthermore it was halal and no pork dishes as id expect to see in a chinese restaurant. I tried the Manchuria chicken but it was really poor, I don't think these people know how to do it properly. I won't recommend going.

Bored of the local Chinese restaurants/take aways, I came across Oodles on line, and thought I'd give them a try for a food delivery. First flag was the no choice option of having to order two dishes from the part of the menu, meaning you HAD to order from rice, chips, noodles two of them ! Who orders rice, & chips, rice & noodle, or noodles, & chips, or two of the same type ??? The following menu options were straight forward, & I thought I'd try the chicken in Black bean sauce, and Teriyaki chicken. There were a few prawn options, but only one beef. So egg fried rice, noodles, the two chicken dishes, and I also added a "prawn tempura", or more accurately prawn in bread crumbs. Actually, they were pretty good. The rest, was pretty much thrown into the box, and one chicken dish was nigh on indistinguishable from the other. I genuinely couldn't tell a difference. It wasn't unpleasant, just unidentifiable ! Another one to scratch off the list !

Absolute disgrace, full box of rice and a bit of chicken, vegetable rice with literally 2 peas and 2 sweatcorns?! And after I called to complain the staff member called me dirty bich !

They're going down the hill, we've ordered two large boxes via Uber Eat, and it was delivered soggy, tasteless rice with few pieces of chicken, Tesco's sell way better prepared meals obviously for the fraction of price they're asking, will never order again.

Food was good but staff had an attitude.. they didn’t guide us and when we asked them to change the order they refused saying they had already printed the labels. They further told us that the menu with prices was displayed in front of us and we should have seen it. We said we were there for the first time and they said it didn’t matter it was our job to read what was in front of us. So terrible customer service.. will def avoid going into the restaurant..

We love Oodles at Watford, we order from there at least twice a month. For £10 each we get a comfortable amount of food and it arrives quickly. We also order it at work sometimes. Although it's not the very top end of takeaway food, the quality is generally consistent and it's great comfort food. More please!

Food wasn’t authentic all made from from packed ingredients. Like how long does it take to chop vegetables, prepare sweetcorn, peppers? I like spicy food but the dishes we ordered had nothing but chilli powder rather than flavour and overall overpriced with no value. The ambiance was awful it was freezing cold inside!

Really tasty food made fresh with loads of options. I was warned when trying to select particularly spicy food, otherwise they have medium and non spicy options as well. Can I just say to the management please please change the music, its like the same 6 "ethnic" songs on repeat all the time, it's painful to listen to now.

Delicious food. Portion was good. Value for money. Quick and tasty Indo Chinese. Surely recommend. Variety in veg and non veg both.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time, whole thing was very messy and soggy. It was so spicy could hardly eat it hard to know what the actual taste was, won’t be ordering again

We ordered various noodle dishes for lunch, they were so spicy it was inedible to eat. I complained at the time but they would not swap our meal for another or refund us.

Everything we ordered no matter what it was, was covered in extremely hot sauce. Nothing had any taste. It burnt your mouth and tasted awful. We complained and they didnt care they just said everything is spicy here. All 4 meals went in the bin.

Oily food, not really woked Infront of you. But just mixed pre prepared items. Staff did not clean table and had to do it ourselves with wipes infront of them. Asked for water for toddler, and said please buy a cold bottle at ice cold temp, when they had cups and tap.

Got a takeaway and boxes were damaged and things were spilt everywhere in the bag. Driver said we will get another one for free and it didn’t come in the end and the restaurant refused to refund us. NEVER get takeaway from this place it’s not worth it and you won’t get your money back if it is damaged.

The food wasn’t nice the kids didn’t want to eat it and didn’t get the discount that was offered. I will not return as the food taste microwave food.

Hardly any veg in veggie noodles, meat in chicken dish could have been any meat, very soggy chips and crispy prawns weren’t how could they be when they are buries halfway down.
