Ordered for the first time this evening as we had a takeaway leaflet through the door. Never again. Food was cold had to microwave it, wrong rice. Chicken pad thai was so dry it was all clumped together. Vegetable spring rolls were so flat they looked like they had been hit with a rolling pin. Very very disappointed. £50 wasted. Avoid at all costs

Ordered online and it said the food would be 15 minutes. Turned up after 15 minutes and had to wait another 10 to be acknowledged and then another 20 mins for the food to be cooked. Got home (1 minute away) and the food is literally stone cold. A complete waste of money and time.

I have used this takeaway several times and have always been delighted with the food and service. They are a little cheaper than the other Chinese takeaway restaurant in our high street. They have always put a bag of prawn crackers in the order free of charge. The food is tasty, warm and plentiful. I highly recommend them to you.

My review was one star as I ordered food online and nothing turned up. This isn't the first time it has happened so was very annoyed and frustrated. Maybe just have the telephone service and give the online ordering service a miss.

We’re got orders from full moon once a week and they don’t even disappoint us. We ordered food online which was very quick and easy. The portion was generous size. All the dishes were piping hot and absolutely delicious . We would most definitely recommend Full Moon.

The food here is average for a Chinese takeaway. Average meaning it's not the worst place in the world but if I had other better options available I'd go to those instead. The prices have also seemed to have gone up since the last time I visited, so it has become more unjustifiable spending more money yet receiving the same average food.

If I could give it 0 starts I would. Food was awful, we threw it away. Left without tea for tonight as we have hardly anything in the fridge, from moving house. Ordered a mushroom omelette but it looked like it scrambled egg. There was so much “juice” at the bottom it was horrible. Chips are re-heated as well. When I ordered I forgot that to add curry sauce onto the order, the women said “you will have to pay by cash”, my response was “oh okay that’s fine I don’t have the cash just card so it’s okay” she laughed at me and said okay. Do not waste your money go to another Chinese. Waste. Of. Money!

One of the best Chinese takeaway's we as a family have had. All the dishes freshly cooked hot and flavoursome.

Avoid the full moon Chinese take away in abbots Langley at all costs! Save your money and your gut! Absolutely disgusting and vile I don’t even know how they could serve and hand out to people We ordered a take away with them lastnight quite a big order which totalled to £67, when it arrived we dishes it out, the duck was absolutely dry and not editable, the shredded chilli beef was rock hard and also not eatable, the salt and pepper chicken had no flavour at all and was absolutely anaemic, the beef chow mien was Slimy and also not edible, the chips and chicken balls were dripping of grease, the only thing my son ate was the share box which had the ribs in! I phoned up to complain and was told to return the items and if they hadn’t been touched ( which they hadn’t) I would get a refund, I returned the items and the chef came out very high rate and being very rude to me asking me what’s the matter with them, when I explained I got told this is not Costco you can’t just bring back the items and I was also told this is not a five star hotel so don’t except 5 star food. I was told the duck had been eaten, the duck had not been eaten, there was a tiny bit that was peeled off. I was told they are to busy to deal with me as they had other customers order to deal with, whilst all the arguing about the situation was going on the chef was back and fourth from the kitchen not washing his hands, not wearing any mask and not very hygienic at all. I had been waiting for 2.5hrs hour at this point in the shop, my parents turned up to see if I was ok, the lady behind the counter was also absolutely rude and threw the bag of food back at us. We then got the duck out to show her and put it on the counter, she then picked the duck up and said this disgusting and threw it at my father. My father then threw it back through the hole. I could go into more detail about how poor and unprofessional these people were. This takeaway should be shut down! After I waited three hours in the shop untill the police were called to sort this matter out which they sided with me and agreed they have had some dodgy belly’s from ordering from here before! I got a partial refund of £26🤣 avoid!!! There are plenty more nicer Chinese take seats in abbots!!! Also the lady who threw the duck at us

Just had take out from here. When we got home we had a different dish to what we ordered. Food was stone cold. Chips had been re cooked but were cold. Horrible. Have not been here for a while and will not be going back. Went in bin. Complete waste of money.Definitely gone down hill. Would not recommend.

Another good takeaway. Salt and pepper squid (medium sized container with good portion of squid), chips (good sized bag), curry sauce (usual sized cup full), chicken noodle soup (quite large bowl) vegetable spring roll (6 small) chicken foo yung (no vegetables by request) chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce (medium sized container filled to the top. Again no vegetables on request). Food cooked well and tasted good. A bit pricey at £32 ….. though. Maybe that’s just inflation …. Would recommend.

Starters were ok but Ribs were just bones of fat. I could of thrown the shredded beef through a window. Very little duck, tasted okay but only 4 pancakes out of a quarter duck. Chicken in back bean tasted the same as the chicken soup, watery and tasteless. Rang and complained, offered 10 per cent off next visit. Would never use again. I’ll wait for pin wei next time rather than try elsewhere

The food was truly dreadful. It all arrived cold, which turned out to be the least unpleasant thing about it. My lemon chicken had no lemon sauce and was dry and tough from being reheated for too long. I tried making palatable with a sauce from my cupboard but it was still harder to swallow than England's Euro 2020 final defeat. The meats in the other dishes were more fat than anything. Except that the chicken in the special fried rice, that was actually okay. The overall dish however was so bland it was like eating a James Blunt song. I haven't been this disappointed by something I spent money on since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Have used this chinese for about 6 months now. Food is always good and delivered on time. Was recommended to us and I would certainly recommend to others

Awful awful ordered two weeks ago and prawns turned up burnt to be told “it’s the oil” Today ordered at 5pm ETA 45 mins , 2 hours 10 minutes later still not arrived , Apprently the driver left an hour ago but does not have a phone ?? Food turns up 3 items wrong despite it being an online order !! Also food is cold , prob because it’s done a tour of watford ! Person who answers the phone has no idea and found it funny !! 🤬🤬

Had take away from this Chinese take away and it was dreadful tonight. My wife is allergic to ginger and for the first time it was put in the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style! Also their sweet and sour sauce has completely changed! It is a very different colour and doesn’t taste anywhere near as good as the previous one. Ordered egg fried rice too which I thought they had forgotten to put the egg in! We have been using this take away for years but ...... sadly tonight is the last occasion we will be using it.

Enjoyable take away ordered for collection through online which is very easy. They do deliver but just as easy to collect with some parking outside. Friendly staff, disappointed its only a 3 star food hygiene. Food is hot and tasty.

Always come here for the sweet and sour chicken balls they’re the best in the area. Big pieces of chicken and not bland at all like others I’ve had. All dishes I have had are cooked perfectly and lots of flavour.

Not wishing to cook after a busy day we ordered the set dinener B2 for two even though there were 3 of us. Glad we didnt orderd for 3 as there was more than we could mange. However we did get was very good and was dlivered quickly.

NEVER AGAIN We've ordered from Full Moon twice a week for a long time (bad i know) and have always had hit and miss meals but nothing bad enough to stop using them - UNTIL TODAY - we ordered our usual and i was quite frankly disgusted the rice was swimming in water which smelt the lamb in the black bean dish was a gristle and did not even look like lamb he took one mouth full and spat it out - the duck was at least half fat once id removed all of that and got to some of the meat it tasted so off it actually made me gag and i discovered it still had a lump where it was partially frozen still - We called the restaurant who were EXTREMELY rude despite us being more than regular customers but after 20 minutes their offer to us was replacement food which i definitely was not going to take after being made to feel so sick attempting to try what they had already provided us with so we requested a refund and for them to come and collect the food they had given - 2 hours and 25 minutes later the owner (male) turned up at our house a shouted HELLO at gone 10.30 at the top of his voice instead of just knocking my partner and i went outside to do the exchange and he slammed his car door shut and snatched the bag of food off of us opening every single container whilst telling us hes too busy to deal with this. He noticed that there was a small amount missing from the dishes that we had put on the plate before we realised the food was off and questioned us to which i replied obviously its in the bin from the plate - he then refused to give us any money back even partially because we hadnt put the spat out food from the plate back in the container for him to take back to the restaurant!!! Never again will i use these people

Who puts cucumber in a sweet and sour chicken??? Rice over cooked and sticky.. not aloud special fried rice in my meal box even if i paid more money?? Just dont go there its a waste of bloody money and time.

got the sweet and sour chicken balls they was so tasty.also had sanghai noodles was tasty as well. even got a free bag of chips which was a nice touch they were very nice everything we had was cook to perfection.

The food has always been delicious whenever I have been here. The hockey balls in particular are lovely! The only downside is that the food is very pricey compared to other local Chinese takeaways. If they brought the price down a bit then I would definitely use this a lot more.

Use this takeaway all the time now for our Chinese food. Online ordering is so easy and payment options from cash to PayPal and card. Delivery or collection. The food is really well prepared and delicious. Generous portions well packed and almost every time has a small free desert included.

Very Appetizing! I came here with an old friend of mine, we ordered egg fried rice and spring rolls, it came quite quick! We were certainly impressed by Full Moon. And will definitely come here again!

I decided to come here with a friend of mine. We ordered Spring Rolls and Egg Fried Rice. We only had to wait 15 minutes even though it had a lot of people. The food was very appetizing. I will certainly come back.

Definitely recommend. It was my first time ordering at this takeaway, the food delivered quickly and had great quality. It was hot when it came to my door so I very much enjoyed the experience of eating here.

Wanted a Chinese takeaway so thought we'd try this one. Only took 30 minutes from ordering to delivery so that was good. However, food bland and cold. Crispy duck very tough. Sweet and sour chicken almost tasteless. Ribs sloppy and bland. Egg fried rice stuck together and virtually no egg. Veg chow mein and chips OK.

Stayed at a local hotel and wanted something different for dinner. My only criticism for someone traveling o their own is the minimum order charge, but I also understand that they have to have that to make it worth while. Food was delivered on time, hot and tasted good.

Was really dubious about ordering from this takeaway as a lot of the reviews were not very complimentary. Decided to give it a whirl with the mindset of if we don't try we will never know. So glad we did, the food was delivered within half an hour. We ordered for a family of five and all of the dishes were fresh and flavoursome. We all really enjoyed it. Cannot understand some of the shocking reviews. Will definitely use this takeaway again.

How this place survives in a village with several other much better Chinese restaurants is amazing returned home from the colosseum after 10 pm usual takeout was closed so decided to pull-up here firstly the guy who took the order looked bored stupid and extremely indifferent ordered a large special fried rice chicken chow mien and a curry sauce as a quick snack

Best chinese in the area, food is always lovely and the staff are friendly too. Their king prawn rice and banana frittas are my favourite.

My son & I had special fried rice curry sauce & 2 chicken & sweetcorn soups from here on Monday 17th July & I have to say that it was absolutely awful.

This artful and contemporary Chinese bistro is located in the heart of the bustling community of Abbots Langley. One dish that I must absolutely recommend is the lightly pan seared grilled meat dumplings (16) accompanied by the fragrant ginger spice vinegar. The Watford Observer called it a "playful but mysterious little dish". You'll love it. The stir fried wagyu beef in black bean chilli sauce (33) is also a must have, and the aromatic flavours simply melt in your mouth. Gunning for his first Michelin star, the head chef Andy Chen is a veteran in the area of pan Asian cuisine, and his work had been highly praised by numerous critics. Inside, the decor has an air of tranquility that will accompany your takeaway beautifully, and the staff are courteous and extremely helpful. Overall, Full Moon is a once in a lifetime experience, and you'd hate to miss it.

Food is ok, not the best Chinese in the country but better than any other Chinese in Abbots Langley. This is based on numerous orders from each of the restaurants over the last few years.

We had a menu posted through our door less then a week ago, so decided to give them a try, asked for a takeaway delivery a being inside specified area only cost of meal was payable, according to the menu our dinner should of cost us £20.20 except we were charged extra 30p , Meal was bland bordering tasteless, shall not order from here again

We have used this place over the years and was pretty good but we have found it has gone downhill recently, last meal was very very bland, actually it was awful, I like consistency but not getting it anymore, lost my custom from now on and will try somewhere different.

I would have given them 0 stars if possible. I ordered a portion of prawn dumplings and pork & prawn dumplings costing £18, when they arrived we gave the driver £20 which he just walked off with without giving us our change back. The food was rock hard and cold, the dish itself is supposed to be squishy and translucent. They are clearly using frozen products and a microwave to 'cook' them when they are "STEAMED" dumplings. The pork dumplings in particular stunk and i'm sure it was off. We phoned them up and told them that we couldn't eat it as we had thrown it out, it was that bad. He offered a measly 10% off our NEXT order which was ridiculous as we were never planning on ordering from such a vile place again. He reluctantly agreed to a full refund and hung up the phone abruptly which left us confused as to how this would proceed. We called again and he pretending to not understand what we were saying and again rudely told us that the driver would give the refund and hung up again. The driver arrived, gave us our money and we gave him 2 dumplings that we had kept to show how bad they were. 15 minutes later we recieved a call from a mobile number we did not recognise, it was pressumbly the owner that we previously spoke to. He shouted asking where the rest of the food was, accused me of trying to get a free meal then swore and told us never to order from them again (we weren't planning to anyway).They never asked for the food to be returned as we assumed they had no need for rancid/rotten food. The driver didn't ask for the rest of the food at the door. - awful food- awful service Avoid this place at all costs, any "restaurant" that cuts corners and uses frozen food and then shouts at a customer is appalling. By far the WORST chinese I have ever had, and it seems like I am not the only one that thinks this.

Monday night is hard to get a decent take away. If you are absolutely craving a Chinese on a Monday, do not want to collect yourself and your children are hell bent on one too then do it. But do not expect it to be amazing.
