Oodles - Walthamstow in Waltham Forest

This was my go to Chinese very frequently until they changed the spicy chips from the box meals ! It was one of the main reasons I loved going there

Oodles Walthamstow has the best Chinese takeaway in the area. My favourite is the crispy prawns with vegetable rice and vegetable noodles.

Friendly service from the girl who served us Aisha. Food tasted good and was served quickly. Would definitely come back.

Great spot for a cheeky Chinese! Everything was nicely cooked and tasty! Family friendly. We loved the vibe of the place ( nasheeds were played the whole time we were there) 😊 Definitely recommend this spot.

I ordered 2 large boxes and a ice blast. The the noodles tasted like plastic and the chicken which was meant to be 2 different kinds both tasted the same.

If only you could give minus star ratings. This would get at least a minus 3. Having been here before, I ordered again. After waiting an hour for food (which is fine because it was made clear on the delivery platform that they were busy) the food arrived. First issue, they’d missed an entire meal. We only ordered 3 meals and some sides so they missed an entire meal. Then one of the other meals (a larger box) had the wrong contents. The final straw which put us all off our meal is one of the few items that came correctly was the side of spicy chips, they had a long black hair in them 🤮 as you can imagine that’s incredibly off putting. So disappointed with the experience

If you’re the type of person who enjoys tucking into a super-compressed box of unrecognisable mush, then this is definitely the place for you. If you like cheap frozen mixed veg and overcooked chicken, eat here. If you like your take out to arrive cold, soggy and largely absent of flavour and texture, I thoroughly recommend Oodles restaurant. Not only this, but you’ll also have the privilege of paying around £10 for each box of sludge you order AND be charged for delivery. Sensational! For the progressive folk at Oodles it simply isn’t enough that you gag on their food, you also have to choke on the audacity of asking an extra three quid for this overpriced fiasco to be dropped at your doorstep. Getting a takeaway shouldn’t be stressful but it’s fair to say the Oodles experience has left me so traumatised, I may not be able to order out again for a significant length of time. Overall rating for taste, presentation and value for money: ZERO

Saw advertisement on islamic TV. Preferred for daughter’s birthday treat. Disappointing kids hated it. Husband swear never to have noodles again. Sorry but Would not recommend to anyone.

Their food quality is appalling cheap frozen vegetables rotten taste and foul smelling food. Waste of money and should be closed down before their food causes a death.

They make the worst of Chinese...or even Indo-Chinese if you may call it. Cheap frozen veg, overcooked noodles, bad quality oil, and everything in the menu tastes similar. I had lunch there recently with my son, both had upset stomach afterwards. Their portions are all messed up, the large looks as good as small from other chinese shops. It's not value for money. And yes, one minute after 3.00 they would charge dinner rates.

The way the food is served here is not practical. It’s piled up in a heap and squashed together so the rice gets mixed in with the noodles in the box and becomes very greasy. There’s no point in offering different foods because by the time you eat it it’s all oily and tastes the same. For the price that they charge the food needs to be better. The egg fried rice tastes very bland and boiled. The spicy prawns and wings are nice though. Hopefully they’ll change the containers.

We ordered 3 noodle dishes and 45 minutes later, still no food. We asked 25 mins after ordering and they said it would be ready in 10 mins, 15 mins later we are still waiting. While i understand it will be busy due to 50% off, they should have been more cleare woth their time. We asked for a refund and have been told they do no issue refunds. That is disappointing. I would write about the food but god knows when the food will be ready.

Food came but everything had opened in the boxes in the bag they were delivered in so we had to scoop it out with our hands and distribute the now very mixed selection back into the boxes. Their delivery driver must throw it all about!!...

I really didn’t see the hype. Standard food, nothing special it’s similar to those Chinese wok in a box food you get in central London. Only difference this gave me stomach aches, not impressed at all.

My friend recommended me this place, I must say the portions are huge, although its in 1 box but nicely layered and each dish has its unique taste. Will be coming back soon

This place is nice to eat at, its fast service & hot food for a really decent price. Theres nothing like it in the area. And has a nice mix of food. I would recommend getting different stuff as it can get a bit overwhelming...

Went here for a family meal, as it has opened recently, firstly find out that they only accept cash even though there cash register say cash or card payment accepted. Ordered four different box meals: 1 was chicken in black bean oyster sauce with rice...
