Worst Chinese food I've ever tasted the chef needs to get sacked immediately fake meat in special fried rice ...prawns in oyster sauce was overly salty the beef in black bean sauce was tasteless and chewy oyster sauce was made to give you high blood pressure the beef tasted like leather belt as it was so chewy this shop needs to be reviewed of closed down before something happens to any of the costumers awful

It is a real shame that any food business in the UK is allowed to operate in the way this business is; pretending to be a Chinese take-away when it is not. A legitimate Chinese take-away will never use lamb in their pekin spare ribs. And their chow main will never use tasteless meats! China Golden Gate, 394 Lea Bridge Road, London, should be permanently closed as they are a real embarrassment to Chinese cuisine!

Would give no stars but no such option..non existent customer service. Did not agree to cancel the order even when could not fulfill it. Avoid at all costs!!

The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful and hung up the phone on me. They claimed that the delivery driver had been to my property to deliver the food and had called me to see if I was in. I did not get any contact from them in this way. To make matters worse, when I called the shop for the location of the food, some 1 hour and 30 minutes since I ordered it they explained they would not deliver the food to me and I was not entitled to a refund. I am now talking to just eat for a refund. These cowboys are the WORST chinese outfit in town. So save your cash and go to another.

This is the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. The food was tasteless, the spare ribs were over cooked and chewy, the soup had hard chunks of meat in it and the spring rolls were undercooked. Absolutely revolting.

Sabía vil. El satay de pollo era duro, sin sabor y SIN salsa satay. yoLas costillas eran duras y tenían un sabor desagradable.Y el pato. . . . ¡Bien! El pato "crujiente" finalmente nos empujó al borde y tiramos el lote en el contenedor. Era gris, frío, blando. . . . La piqué con cuidado con mi dedo, más como una paté. . . . Totalmente vómito - induciendo, incluso sólo visualmente. No nos atrevimos a probarlo. En este punto, comenzamos a preguntarnos seriamente qué animales estaban involucrados en la preparación de los platos mencionados. . . . ? Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken.... Instead recieved Frozen Chicken Nuggets, Tinned Pineapple & Tangy Sauce on the side!I called up to complain and was told it's my fault not theirs as if I wanted it cooked in sauce I should have stated so!

Chicken balls - the batter was under cooked and chicken was tough. the sauce that comes with it looks and Tasted not good Beef with mushrooms - the beef was really chewy. All mushrooms in the dishes were not nice. The duck was the only nice dish

noodles tasted like spaghetti gone bad, rang up the restaurant, he asked for all the food back so he could weigh it and make sure it hasnt been eaten, then we get refund. 24 hours later still no refund.

Third time in a row the have messed our order up. Unbelievable that you order from an electronic menu and they still can get the order correct. Didn't complain as already waited 45 mins for food and three dishes was wrong. Going somewhere else from now on.

i was a regular customer until this experience the noodles were over boiled so both the chicken and the beef chow meins tasted boiled instead of fried and the egg fried rice had a bad burnt after taste as well as being browner then usual.... luckily the honey and black pepper sauce and chicken soup were perfect so it made the meal edible.... couldn't be bothered calling to complain will just find someone new in future

I ate from here a few weeks ago. The food still haunts me. Never seen such bad quality duck. It was greenish and inedible. Expensive too. The prawn toast fell apart and was gooey also inedible. I ate the spring rolls but dread to think what was in them. Don't want to ruin anyone's business but honestly don't order from here. Rancid.

The order arrived half an hour late so the food was a bit cold, also the instructions not to knock on the door as it was late but to ring instead were ignored. The driver apologised, he said he hadn't been informed.

Food was fine but delivered forty minutes late and the driver had no change so I was forced to pay by card over the phone.

The rice was mashed up and plain with pieces of Turkey ham... it was meant to be special fried rice. All the dishes had tiny pieces of meat and just full of onions and other veg. Also the crispy chicken was burnt!! I paid 31 pound and got no free drink or free prawn crackers and was told by driver it's because I got discount... how am I meant to stop the 20% discount if I ordered over 30 pounds!! Will not order from here again.

Found it quite disappointing that the guy who delivered the food didn't have enough money to give me my full change. Even though it's only that amount I still found it pretty unprofessional. He was £3 short and it did put damper on the otherwise, good service.

Arrive after 2 hours. When I called the restaurant I was told they were knocking but no on answered. Then when it did come I was told that my number was wrong and I wasn't answering. I checked and it isn't wrong and no one knocked. Food is not good either. Won't be ordering again.

Took an hour and half to get here, delivery driver was rude and accused my boyfriend of lying about our order being ours. Then insisted we proved to him the order was ours before giving us our already paid for food. Chicken fried rice was dry, and sticky Will not be ordering again.

The guy who delivered the order was rude to me and was shouting for no reason.He said that he waited 5 min. In front of the door which is not true.because a minute before him I received another order.
