Ate pounded yam with Efo. Tasty and enjoyable. Very delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Drove from south Norfolk and back just to eat here, I can say it was worth the drive. Everyone enjoyed the food, it was so tasty the puff puff and plantain are the best I’ve ever had. The service was great too.

Had a Christmas meal with family. Kids paid half the price and loved the puffpuff; had a crispy finishing.

My friends if I could give half a star please believe I would. Food lovely, but we came and it was triple booked it seems the owners of this place are very unprofessional or very greedy trying to bring Lagos to this London. Also, health and safety rules were broken severely. Because there was no space to fit people they had put chairs in front of the door (blocking fire exit). No concerns for people health and safety. 100 people were supposed to fit in what could hold roughly 45. They also overcharge for drinks on top of this. I would not return here ever, which is a shame because has potential.

Always the best place for Nigerian foods, drinks and entertainment. Perfect place for small events. Always bubbling weekends. Relaxing and fun environment. The best 'all you can eat' weekends.

I went there with my husband to cool off on a Sunday evening. I was offered buffet and my hubby ordered nkobi. The buffet of £25 tastes expired, I was able to eat only a piece of fish n dodo. Nothing tastes like nkobi, its full of palm oil. The karaoke wasn't great but manageable. Infact the council should lock the place due to their spoilt food buffet and after 2 servings you can't eat anymore. We regret going their and not Chinese buffet.

This establishment is where you go for a quick bite as a Nigerian. It gives that road side buka vibe and you can catch a drink while you eat or just get a drink if that's what you want. They do not have a wide array of drinks so if you have a peculiar drink you might likely not find it here. The most beautiful part of my experience there was karaoke on Sundays. The host is charming and warm and lit up the atmosphere with beautiful renditions and I couldn't help falling in love with the place despite my ratings.

The food is not quite as good as before, maybe a change of chef is needed.

It's a beautiful place with excellent service. I love how the black lady attended to us she pays attention to details and she's very friendly. The edikanikan ok but taste more like efo riro and the efo riro has just 3 lives. I love the music and the dj came prepared. Just try to work on your recipe, thought I could eat periwinkle in the edikanikan

Never got chance to try food as the telephone number online is incorrect. They must be loosing alot of business due to this. Shame I was in London on business my partner only eats food from Nigeria such a shame.

I had a delicious meal of boiled crab here. Unfortunately, within the hour, I found I had to completely blast my colon whack, entirely out, with such an explosive force, my eyes watered - and I didn't even make it in time, if you know what I mean... A shame. I can't explain that part but it cast a shadow over an otherwise quite enjoyable experience. Nevertheless, I'll definitely go again! Cheers! 🦀

The restaurant has a good ambiance and serve amazing Nigerian dishes. Would recommend the white rice and ayamashe, vegetable and Eva. The customer service was also excellent.

I ordered crab meat but got molded chicken instead lol

My chicken dish tasted quite fishy tbh. I got worried when I could hear the chef shouting tell them that's the f#@^&g crab !!!! Food was that cold it had developed a blue fur coat. But on the plus side my infection cleared up without the use of antibiotics.....

Thanks lord I had these 2 mins hesitation and decided to go next door. Just saw the picture hence the EHO visit on staff canteen. Please avoid avoid avoid at all cost. Owner got fined 10k - it tells you how bad this was. Moldy chicken that they served as crab meet.

For the price of £19.99 per person, this is not a bad Nigerian buffet restaurant. My take on the whole experience is this though. They have the main Nigerian dishes on offer from Jollof rice to efo riro but they were missing a few including moinmoin, seafood okro, ogbono etc. But on the whole, I'd say their offer is a considerable selection. Now to the taste, the dishes were not seasoned enough for my taste. They always needed that extra bit of seasoning. The rice(all the 3 types they had) were undercooked leaving them a bit hard. The meats including tripe were undercooked as well making them chewy. They had fruits on display as well but they were out of date and obviously not fresh and on the verge of rotting. To the on site facilities, on entrance, the ambience was below average for me and the toilet had no warm water or toilet roll. I know you may wonder why I said at the beginning that this is not bad restaurant when most of my review borders on the negative. Oh well, I will visit again because I think the price is not bad for eat-all-you-can Nigerian food. Secondly, the waitress was nice and thirdly, if you visited there hungry, you may not notice all of the above. Lol

Lives up to its reputation. Been coming here since 2012 and each time I visit from Glasgow, there's always an improvement. Food is great too though some staff could do with an attitude adjustment, otherwise nice place for a meal or few drink or a night out/party

The only good thing was the music. For £25 per head, was like they were rationing food, you had to ask the staff to refill the food in the buffet tray. Pepper soup was just salty beef stock. You couldn't taste any pepper soup ingredient. I lost my appetite in the end. Lack of enough staff to service the place. They dont clear up after you have eaten. Decor of the place needs an upgrade. It was a bloody waste of money.

The environment looks tatty and somewhat threadbare - the owners didn't take the trouble to upgrade the gener fabric of the restaurant. The doormat looks grungy and dirty and the carpet is taped over with sticky tape in some areas. Their food is bland and spices are not carefully measured - all of the meals I had tasted awful. And everything is overpriced. Will not recommend.

This was my first visit to Lagos Island, I think it will replace our previous local Nigerian restaurant. The staff were friendly, the place had a lively atmosphere, it was cosy and was nicely decorated although there were areas of wear and tear. The food was delicious 😋 and the service was good and those are the things I value. I gauge the dress code to be casual or smart casual. Check it out.

Food good but place needs renovation badly.

It was a last minute plan to book this venue. I have to say its the first Nigerian Buffet I have been to. You could also order off the menu too. They had a DJ and its child friendly. I have to say I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. The food was good and definately going back.

Food was good,customer service was poor

Chose to take advantage of the ‘eat out to help out’ scheme as it was on offer at this restaurant. We were welcomed by a very bubbly front of house staff and shown the buffet area which was impressive as it had a variety to choose from and even had fruits (apples, watermelon and oranges) as well as fruit-corner yoghurt. The food was tasty (although quite oily especially the crab but then us Nigerians do love our oil!!). It was a pleasant experience and it was nice to see a mixed crowd (age and race). The service unfortunately was a let down as on arrival we had been told the buffet was £15 pp (before applying EOTHO discount) however when it was time to pay the bill we were told it was in fact £19.95 pp to dine-in. While we were annoyed by this we did pay the higher amount billed to us. As the owner was also present at the time and within ear shot of our conversation with the front of house staff it would have been nice to at least get a friendly word from him acknowledging the fact that the error had been theirs. It’s the little things 🙂

Waited for almost an hour before the arrival of the food and unfortunately the amala had bumps which was a big let down to the soup.

To socialize, eat and drink plus reminisce of old, back home. Parking around the bar is ok for myself due to it being quite close in proximity to my mum's home but because it's close (NOT) to Walthamstow Market, well, the traffic wardens shall we say are More than over zealous about catching a driver out, like cat and mouse wars!! Good food, good entertainment and a local venue for a Lagos Island x

No fue mi primera opción de comida, pero fue planeada por un miembro de la familia.Ayer había un grupo numeroso de alrededor de 30 y todos menos 4 de nosotros hemos estado con las carreras y los vómitos desde las primeras horas de esta mañana.Miré a nuestro grupo de WhatsApp para ver a todos diciendo lo mismo.Mi hija ha estado muy mal durante las últimas 7 horas.El lugar es muy sucio y no es sanitario en absoluto. Not my first choice of food but was planned by a family member. There was a large group of around 30 yesterday and all but 4 of us have been up with the runs and vomiting since the early hours this morning. I looked at our WhatsApp group to see everyone saying the same. My daughter has been really bad for the last 7 hours. The venue is very dingy and not sanitary at all. Bleach and dettol are needed throughout in the seating areas, lord knows what the kitchen is like. The lady serving (only person) isn’t customer friendly at all, you ask a simple question and she replies ‘ask the lady in your group’ as if the restaurant is paying anyone in our group by the hour. Being a non red meat eater myself I think it was the jollof rice that got us all. Interestingly there’s a google review where a customer mentions about the reheating of food specifically the rice and the risk of germs and hygiene. £18 per person for lack of choice and food poisoning! I WOULD NEVER RETURN!

A Nigerian friend of mine showed me this place.I love the food here, nice and fresh. I like to come to the buffet which is reasonably priced.

Food is good but cold. Often re-heated or micro-waved. For a buffet, given the amount of people and the hygiene factor, keeping the food pipping hot would negate the presence of germs. The food is not regularly changed or replaced with fresh one and can stay out on the hot plate (rather warm hot plate) for a longer period or until the food need replenishing. The food is not hot. I had the soup, it was delicious but cold. When raised with the waiting lady, she offered to microwave my plate rather than changing the cold soup in the serving area with a new a hot fresh soup. Because this is a buffet, I would have gone to get a second bowl of soup. Given the response of the waiting lady. I would have had a second bowl of cold soup and she would possibly have asked me to let her microwave it.

Good place to wind down at the weekend, lovely buffet with a different variety of Nigerian cuisines to choose. Good music👍🏽

Was great! Think the buffet aspect of things is genius and I really did it until my fill. Staff were warm and friendly and there was even a live dj (which I'm still confused about but why not). Would definitely recommend for anyone that wants to discover the tastes of Nigeria or anyone who loves them and has difficulty choosing 😊

Nice and affordable place to enjoy proper Nigerian dishes. Very clean with excellent staff. Suggestions: would love to see more varieties of Nigerian dishes such okro soup, oha soup, afan. May be 20 to 40 % increase in buffet price. My humble suggestion.

I went after work and got the buffet as a takeaway for my son and I. I did think it was pricey until I got home and ate the food. So delicious and fresh. Explosions of flavour...Well worth it. Got a bad look from the lady at the til for packing my box so full, the lid wouldn't fit but I certainly will go back.

The waiter was nice,the nigerian fanta was nice (notice I have not spoken positively about the food) I could have stayed home and cooked jollof rice,beef suya,fried plantain and fried fish for my date. I'm not quite sure how they managed to encourage people to write good reviews on such terrible food. Won't be coming back for another disastrous meal. Better off going to 805

It was my first time visiting this place. The food was great! like the buffee. The Staff was really sweet and friendly. note bring Cash. There is an ATM a few blocks down the road. if you go on a Saturday it can be a bit noisy with DJ playing music. I didn't mind. the fish was AMAZING.
