I’ve been ordering the same meal from this place for ages. Tonight I ordered it and it again and it was just disgusting. I ordered crispy chicken and salt and pepper chicken. It was bland, anaemic looking, slop. It was completely tasteless, as though they had forgot to put the salt in. It didn’t have any spice to either, and normally it’s really spicy. It was inedible. What a complete waste of time and money. There is no consistency at this place. It’s complete luck who you get serving and what sort of meal you get. Whoever was working tonight (Sunday 12th May), I would suggest they need some more training or supervision. The owner needs to get a grip and sort this place and the staff and food out.

Amazing food can’t fault it and the service is great. Staff are all very friendly. Deniz is one of the staff members there and always makes me laugh. Never fails to say hi and is also very helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough it’s amazing.

If I could give 0 stars I would food was awful rice??? I’m sorry rice?? More like a wet sog came looking like mash! Chicken is disgusting delivery took so long nearly 2 hours I rang twice to see where my order was and they said the driver had picked up the food at 7.18pm the food arrived at 21.45 so the food had been sat with the driver for all that time hence why is was a soggy mess!! All in all £28 of my money down the drain bevsuse we couldn’t even eat any of it. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money. Thanks for nothing ☺️

Got take out and originally was disappointed in the portion size. When I opened the box, it was bursting with food. Food was delicious and I totally recommend.

I have ordered from this chain me before elsewhere, but my first takeaway from this franchise in Preston was just awful. Firstly, the eggfried rice and vegetable noodles were really overcooked. They were really soggy and flavourless. The overall dish was just slimey and felt like stale food reheated with water added. You could practically drink it. Took a few bite to taste each element and ended up binning the whole dish. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on this experience and certainly not somewhere I'd reorder takeaway from.

First time visit great food was told our food would be brought across as eating in with a party it wasn't. Good hot. Tasted good sadly the back of restaurant was closed as window smashed and closed off so couldn't use toilets.

Quantity is way too little for the price

I ordered via Uber Eats and decided to give them another shot after my bad experience last time. Unfortunately it was the same - food is mediocre, quite bland and watery. I really wanted to like it as I ordered the make your own box with crispy chicken and chilli chicken with egg fried rice and the jumbo spring roll. Both were a 2/10 and I was disappointed. I won't be ordering again :(

This franchise is one of the best Oodles i have had! The customer service i received from this amazing woman named Denise always gives such a warm welcome and smile! Very respectful and the food quality and hygiene is always outstanding! Definitely would recommend if you love indochinese!

i won’t lie, this place is amazing. me and my boyfriend are regulars and it never fails, the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is just top tier. 10/10 food!! definitely recommend going and trying it out.

Been to many branches but this was truly the worst experience. Ordered vegetable rice and got plain boiled rice instead. Complained to duty manager, he didn't even apologise, said OKAY and that's it. Don't recommend Preston Oodles to anyone.

bloody love oodles. i come at least once a week and im always greeted so kindly & with such interest. today i was served by Vinod Kumar and he recognised me and remembered my order and even added student discount before i had the chance to show him my student ID. he laughed and said he remembers me, which was so sweet! food is always amazing, fresh, and warm. the staff have amazing customer service and never disappoint. can’t wait for next week already 🤭

Staff was friendly and nice but all foods are spicy even if it's saying mild without chill marks in their menu. It was tasty but was too spicy for me who can't eat spicy food.

Food was great, go here nearly once a week sometimes. I was informed there's 10% student discount too, which is amazing. Friendly staff and service is quick. One of the best takeaways in Preston. Can't comment on inside dining as I usually take it back to my flat round the corner.

Amazing food!!! Used to goto Blackburn but now its in Preston and quality is as good as it is Preston . Anyone fancy halal Chinese than this is the place to go. Staff is really cooperative, spotless cleanliness. Vinod was very helpful:)

The food was bloody fantastic, but the experience was made by lovely Denise who was so patient and kind. I struggle making decisions, and she helped me so much by offering me recommendations and explaining how it all worked. She showed interest in me as a person (asking about my name and my job) and made me feel so calm and welcome. I'll definitely be back!

I asked for not spice food and it was very very spice, sale person said, it is medium spice and I wasn't able to breathing, all sausage to Spice!!!

Horrible service when I place the order I was told 15 min after 25 min food was still not ready. It took them 35 min they were more interested in filling up the Ubereat deliveries. Made me feel like stupid waiting there for 35min. Definitely my last trip there!!!

Ordered the create your own boxes for delivery; the order came fairly quickly and was still hot, however the value for money isn't all that great. I find the style similar to the Chopstix chain, but just not as good and more expensive. I wouldn't get it again, but I wouldn't say it's awful.

This review is purely based on the extremely poor service with the delivery of my food. I have waited over 2 hours and I have no update at all. The restaurant won’t even answer their phone. As for the food I can’t even imagine what state it will be in when it arrives. IF IT ARRIVES.

Sadly the food tasted like the reviews said. Bland, and oily. And the delivery took 1 hour too. 20-40 minutes past the alloted time on uber eats, with no communication

Recently been to this place, and ordered two large box. The chicken pieces were dipped in oil and tasteless. We paid an extra £2 for prawn crackers and it was way too oily and smelly. Was not pocket friendly. Little over priced for that portion. Overall the food was soaked in oil. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Noodles were mushy and had no flavour, spicy chips were soggy. Paid an extra £1.95 to have crispy prawns, got 4 chewy prawns in a thick sauce making it about as soggy as everything else. For what we paid the portions were pathetic and the quality of the food was garbage. Left most of the noodles and chips, we both ate the meat because we paid through the nose, but won't be going back. Absolute waste of £23 for 2 boxes of slop and 2 cans of drink

Nikhil and Syed gave me some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Extremely kind, kept shop open few minutes after closing to get my food ready (which tasted very good). They’re both in need of a serious raise or bonus - this establishment will be receiving my patronage on a regular basis from now on.

First visit to Oodles and it was brilliant. Had rice and noodles and the Malayan chicken and told very spicy and man it is. Just about finished it bit tears running down my face, soo good! Will be back!

The fried rice is just boiled rice with a few flakes of egg thrown in. The box was a wet mess. Not saucy as the sauce on the chicken was thick. It's just watery rice. Won't order again chicken was nice though

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Awful, awful, awful! I'm not usually one for posting reviews or slandering but here we go. I ordered off Uber eats and it took 2 hours to deliver. Considering the quote of delivery on the app being 15-35 minutes, this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Whenever I tried to called to ask where my order was they seemed to have a new excuse. "we're busy because of the football", "there's too much traffic on the roads", and for good measure they even tried blaming the rain on my order being 2 hours late. Yes, the rain. Even though it had stopped raining for a good hour. Nevertheless when my food did come the driver apologised for the wait and explained that he was stuck in traffic and it had taken him 15-20 minutes to get here, which is crazy because this means that either the driver or the takeaway was lying about the whereabouts or progress on my order as a full hour and 40 minutes is now unaccounted for. 😭 That now brings me on to the quality of the food. Cold, greasy, chicken is like rubber but hard hard rubber. The chips were soggy, and wings were sub par to say the least and had very unpleasant after smell when eating. All of it was basically inedible and have asked uber to process a refund. Do not waste your time with this place as you will be SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED! Avoid at all costs. I would never wish I'll on someone's employment but this place either needs new management or to be shut down completely. Poor customer service, poor organisation and very poor food quality.
