Oodles Chinese in Derby

I will give Iman Yuzo, a 10-star rating for an excellent customer service. He is genuinely warm and kind, helpful, and very polite. I personally like the place as I find it really clean, spacious and it gives me this cozy restaurant vibes. The food was freshly prepared and cooked just to the point of perfect doneness. No over-sugary, salty or over- greasy taste, just perfect! I love specifically the crispy and the chilli chicken- they are a perfect match with egg fried rice and vegetable noodles. And oh,not to mention the tasty prawn crackers and spring roll sides. The portion and the price are just about right. So next time you crave for some Chinese, I highly recommend the Oodles Derby and you will never be disappointed.

Just had the lunch today at oodles … it was a quite good experience. The food was amazing . . The staff was very humble and coperative . I made some changes in my order and customised it .. and they treated very well .. especially the guy with glasses was very good . 5 star ⭐ must recommended place .

Today i visited the Oodles Chinese in Derby. The quality of food was very nice and I never tried the food like this before i highly recommended try crisy chicken with spicy chips, one of the staff name himanshu good customer service as well.

do NOT eat here. it is not worth it. you will end up with really bad food poisoning i had oodles a few days ago and im still sick. this is disgusting. i wonder just what was in the food to make me this sick.

As I’m typing this right now, the food is currently rotting in the rubbish bin. Me and my wife decided to order takeout, as we do for a treat at the end of the week. Due to the horrible experiences we’ve had and my wife’s sensory issues, we decided to go for something safe, a simple Chinese. But when we opened our large boxes we found that our food has been jam packed and covered in this strange chilli sauce. Now, the chilli sauce has not only soaked through the chips but had also gone through the entire box and straight down to the egg fried rice. We didn’t even eat far enough through the box to get to the rice as we both started feeling extremely ill, most likely due to the RAW chicken served in both boxes. This is a pathetic excuse for a Chinese restaurant, and we will not be visiting ever again in our lives. We will be recommending as many people as possible to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Would give this place zero stars if we could, absolutely pathetic.

Can’t go wrong with a cheeky oodles & noodles. I just wish the parking was easier to access and the atmosphere was better. Sometimes the service can be hit or miss. But the food has always been fresh. I would say it’s medium spicy. I always get: Egg fried rice Vegetable noodles For the chicken / prawn options I get: Crispy chicken Chilli chicken Or Prawns Chilli chicken or crispy chicken I do not like my food being soggy, so I opt for the drier chicken or prawn options only. Definitely get the crispy shrimp, it’s amazing & crunchy.

Great food and great atmosphere. Food came out really quick and it’s great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is also great seating arrangements here too.

First time visiting, will definitely visit again. The quality of fries deserves appreciation of its own. The manager suggested this mix box with vegetable noodles plain chips sweet and sour chicken and crispy chicken and it was delicious!

Ordered from here on Just Eat. Had a create your own large box. Added crispy chicken as one of the options (had no red chilli emoji next to it). Food Arrived and the crispy chicken was quite spicy. Had 2 others try it and said the same. When I called the restaurant, I was met with an argument that it wasn’t that spicy and that I was wrong. After speaking/debating with two people over the phone I gave up. Won’t be ordering again.

The customer service is 10/10 they are so friendly and will help if unsure. The restaurant it self is nice and clean. My favourite take away place would come here over again and again. The food is delicious if I haven’t mention food is always nice and warm even when it’s being delivered.

Nasir the chef did a very amazing job and the meat was tender full of juices.

Came into and asked the guy for chicken only had I'm on a keto dieting and avoiding carbs, he claims he couldn't do it, I said you can put less in if you like but I don't want rice or noodles. I also said to me last time they did it for me and lesicter always do it, when I said that he was like oh we can. The dirty scum low life tramp, than put sauce sweet and sour with no chicken like 1 peice and I heard him say to his colleague in punjab sirf sauce pah, than he layers it with rice to keep it separate and put like 10 peices of crispy chicken. This is how scumy and trampy these places are, you pay several pounds to get 11 peices of chicken. Made me sick. Wanted to go back in and absolutely verbally abuse the guy. Last week I went in they missed this chicken out and when I went in that looked at me funny didn't even offer yo make it again just put some chicken on which was missing. This week the dirty tramps robbed me. They say it's halal for muslims yet I don't see any muslims workers in there. Don't have problem with that however you got all these freshies from Indian speaking punjabii some cant even talk English serving halal food to a majority Muslim area, which really makes sense. Won't be ever going back in here again. Scum bag robbing tramps.

Used to be one of my favourite places to get takeaway however the recipe for the food has changed and it’s no longer the same flavour. The spicy chips just taste like red chilli and I can handle my slice however chilli was the only thing you could taste. The katsu curry has little to no flavour and you can’t distinguish it at all. The salt and pepper chicken is coated in a spicy red sauce. It’s also really soggy.

Service was poor. One staff kept rushing us to order. I was looking at the menu and needed some time to know what to order (you need to pick flavours from each section to make your noodle box.) He asked us three times, "Are you ready to order now?" Clearly I wasn't. It was also really cold and when I asked to increase the temperature on the AC, they appeared to do that but the temperature did not change so it felt this was just to make us feel like they actioned our request. Food was nice but portions are so small so not filling. Ordered a large which felt like between a small and regular. The regular looks like a very small and the small (Value box) is like a toddlers portion. The depth of the boxes are small so pictures can be deceptive with size.

The food is amazing and the people working there are extremely helpful. However they never pick up phone calls which can get a bit frustrating if I want something changed or want to order for collection. Please answer your calls.

Their taste is really nice but the value of the money is not good. The portion of the food is not satisfactory. There isn't much difference between large and medium food boxes. But the taste is really good.

Fresh comfort food after a long day. Monday to Wednesday in store deal on Regular Boxes is amazing. Definitively recommend this store and the awesome guys that work there.

Really disappointed, after ordering didn’t get any confirmation waited 40mins then called and asked about the order the person who answered was disrespectful did not listen and we heard laughs in the background he hang up we tried calling again no one answered. Our order has not arrived but money was taken off. Emailed few times aswell and nothing. Found out that this also happened to few of my family members. I don’t recommend it the service is really bad they just ignore you but take money!

Ordered through just eat…& for the second time on the trot….my order ended up in littleover but this time the gentleman at littleover brought my food to my address in mickleover! For nearly 45 min I have tried ringing the restaurant with no answer!!! In future get your drivers to use postcodes!!!! This will probably be the last time I use this company….

Freshly cooked and piping hot. Lovely textures and nice meat used, beef was super tender and veggies had a good crunch. Bright clean premises and loved the concept of choosing a few different things so you tick all those taste boxes you want!

Just had a brunch to oodles yesterday … with family .. it was so good .. the food was very delicious and customer service was outstanding.. a bit expensive but totally worth it 💯🫡. Will go again. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Horrendous experience. Delivered the wrong order. Would not sort it out & Just wanted to argue with me on the phone, shouting ‘listen to me’ over over, again. I tasted the small wrong order which was delivered and it was disgusting, soggy chips, full of chilli & chewy chicken. 😟

Worst meal I've ever had 😂 paid £15 for a "large" box it was tiny and half full. The katsu chicken curry was just chunks of chicken no curry sauce. Was dry and flavourless so so disappointed will never order again

4.3*…? You gotta be kidding me. Spent £31.00 on two medium boxes and 10 spring rolls, and lo and behold you sent me two kids meal. Thanks(Handshake) I would have accepted being scammed out of £31 and not received anything at all. You can’t be Chinese!
