Onslow Arms in Chichester

13 of us went for lunch for my sisters birthday and we had a wonderful time. The staff were all so friendly and professional and looked after us so well. And it was a welcome relief to get a different kind of pub menu the food was delicious. Only disappointment was that the ribs were a little dry. But everything else perfect and the location stunning - a great playground opposite with goats to entertain the kids after lunch. We look forward to going back.

The Onslow Arms is one of my favorite pubs. It's location is superb - right next to the canal so fabulous for walking. The garden is lovely as is the inside. Food is always great, lots of variety - what I would call decent pub grub - not too fancy, gastro or over priced thankfully.

Appalling. Poor quality tasteless sausage, only 1 bubble and squeak cake comprising pre-cooked stale potatoes and nothing else and onion gravy with only a few slices of onion Well overpriced at £15 Would not revisit nor recommend

Sunday Lunch. Had the most gorgeous lunch , pork belly and roast beef and a really lovely selection of vegetables . Cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit.

Massive thank you to Rob and his team for making Sophie & Adam's wedding so special with the outstanding catering and bar for their festival wedding. Pete's BBQ was amazing and Rob ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day and went above and beyond helping tidying up the next day.

Great pub! Amazing atmosphere and fab staff. We found it totally by accident and we were really pleased! Menus offer great range/ kids/ allergies etc/ portions are really good. Unusual menu but totally delicious with lots of choice for us veggies, spoilt for choice. Friendly staff who were helpful in explaining the various sauces on the menu. Wanted a nice dog friendly pub for me and my daughter to get lunch with our pup. Booked a table for 1.30pm with ease on their site. Had a lovely table outside by the canal. Very polite and helpful staff. Great food and very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Visited here over the bank holiday weekend on the Sunday . We were informed that the Sunday roasts weren’t available but the menu online looked ok so we looked forward to that . However the menu was very limited and the food was very average although passable. Very expensive kids menu too. The online menu had sausage and mash but that wasn’t available when we arrived however the kids menu had two wonderful sausages so one would imagine there were no potatoes to make mash ! One thing I must say is a big plus we’re the staff they were extremely friendly and very helpful so a big thumbs up on that front . Reading the reviews I can see that they normally get high marks so maybe this was a one off and things are normally a bit better.
