O'Neils in Enfield

Okay, it's not the quietist of places but it does have atmosphere. In a good way. The food is great and reasonably priced. We always go there when we stay over in London for the early Eurostar. What's not to like.?

Not with a star. Being an Irish pub chain no Irish music. Drinks served in plastic glasses from 7 pm on onward no sign outside to say drinks are served in plastic glasses. Hygiene guys on plastic glasses and 5 security chaps at 7 pm

Visited Oneils with friends and had an awesome night. Drinks were flowing and DJ played some awesome music. I must say, Giannis made sure we stayed secured and always checked on us if we needed anything. Definitely recommend this place for some music and affordable drinks!

Came here with my wife to try the new festive menu. Took a while to come out but it was lovely once we got it. Would come back again.

Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food as well and had a great selection of drinks. Would recommend!

Had the best night all due to one staff member who had the cutest smile she made the apmosphere shine so polite and happy was very busy but she still mqnahed to find the to keep us well looked after said her name was charmaine or something like that absolutly a star service

Met some friends and went to O'Neill's for Lunch. Really nice pub with very friendly atmosphere and staff very professional and welcoming. Food lovely and hot. We all commented how nice this place is and will certainly be having return visits, Excellent ,

Shockingly cliquey exactly what you would expect from a small town mentality incredibly rude everyone starring at you like an extra terrestrial terrible attitudes

Staff were really friendly, and talkative. Service was very quick and drinks were really nice! Would definitely recommend for a quick drink and I will definitely be returning!

This pub has no respect for its' locals. The place was full of 'travellers' today, continuing wedding celebrations from earlier in the week. There were 20 or 30 of them. None had masks. They were shouting & swearing. All but 6 locals were driven out by the noise & atmosphere. They were in the toilet snorting God knows what! The assistant manager did not care. As long as money was going in the till. He said he couldn't do anything about the drugs in the toilet because he hadn't seen it, but wouldn't go & see for himself. The pub is a disgrace & the assistant manager should be sacked!

Staff we're super friendly, food was great and drinks were well made, with super fast service. 110% will go again

I visited I o Neils in Enfield town Saturday 18 January With my daughters and son-in-law I was visiting for the day We arrived at the pub for lunch Ordered our food after 40min of waiting I decided to speak to a member of staff to find out where our food was She was very rude and would not let me speak and was patronising buy saying did I not learn anything at school regarding listening it was a full pub for everyone to hear I was quite angry that a young girl would be talking to me in that manor as I am a mature woman with kids her age The manager was also horrified at the manor to which I was spoken to The food finally arrived but was not worth the wait I will make sure my friends and family avoid that place The girl should be sacked the way she speaks to customers

Not really a pub person but popped in here with friends for an early evening drink. Good service and the bar staff was knowledgeable about the red wines they stock. Pub does food and has a vegetarian and vegan menu which was good to see. Wide range of people in there so will visit again and have a meal there. Walked past it many times and always full.

Met up with a friend i hadn't seen for a while here, we watched the late game on tv and had a few drinks. Service was quick and efficient, the prices reasonable. Suddenly the music was turned up and we could basically not hear each other speak. We had had a good evening until then but had to leave as it was pointless staying. So another pub got our custom

The place is found in the city Centre and is perfect to visit after a long walk on Oxford Street for lunch. The food was tasteful and the prices budget friendly. Also, the staff was really helpful and polite.

This evening was rather disappointing at O’Neills in Enfield. Whilst watching the football Liverpool v Chelsea there were three members of staff. The pub was fairly busy and there seemed to be no urgency to serve the customers. At 10pm the staff’s main concern was to clean up. I feel their attitude is quite damaging to the O’Neills brand as they were thinking about themselves and not the customers. Can businesses work that way? I am not sure. Am I disappointed? Yes. Will I return to O’Neill’s Enfield? Reluctantly. Not unless the lazy staff step up. More training, more awareness and passion is needed.

Came in for food and drinks with my family in the afternoon and was welcomed and staff are all amazing help with what would be good for us to get as a family

Just moved to the area me and my husband thought we would stop by for a early dinner and a drink the staff where really friendly and tghe range of food and drink is a treat so much choice no need to have the same thing twice will definitely come back

I’ve been here for loads of nights out with friends and it is fun depending on the dj, as most of them don’t listen to your song requests and just play whatever the want. However it is so so hot, be prepared to be sweating half the night, instead of shot girls that walk around with warm jäger bombs, they need water girls, as queuing up for a drink is a nightmare you’ll spend half the night at the bar just for them to give you the smallest glass of tap water. Also watch your drinks ladies, the bouncers don’t search anyone and girls have had there drinks spiked plenty!

Have to say the staff were very friendly and the service was ok. Food was awful, out of 4 meals only one was really edible and that was a sandwich. Wasn’t that expensive, but was well overpriced considering what it was. Sorry to say but would rather go hungry than eat there again

Great place to have a laugh and a couple drinks. Atmosphere is classy and calm, and it's a nice place to chill out. Staff are lovely. O'Neill's is a great place. Worth going :D

Came with friends for a birthday party and got pizzas, food was great and atmosphere was calm, great place for a gathering

This is the first time here, since it changed hands. We ordered off the Five Pound lunch menu. Fish chips and mushy peas. The fish was huge. The batter just melted in my mouth. We sat In a booth, which had it's own little tv, and had a few pints and cappuccinos, Well done, We will be back. Excellent professional care and attention from all the Staff

The place looks great, the name has a good reputation but this place is badly run and the staff need to learn how to pull a pint!

New menu is good, and the food is alot fresher than before. Waited a while for the food to come and my burger was missing bacon. Did ask for it but still didn't come. I'm not a fussy guy so it can be forgiven.

Went here in the day time to watch sports,great atmosphere and the food was tasty and good value for money. The staff are friendly. Also even better in the evening. Will definitely be going back soon!

Last time I went here it was called The George and it was just about to be refurbished. They have done a good job. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. It's a big pub so there is plenty of seating available.

Hardly any beer on tap, fridges half empty and staff that make you feel like you’re intruding on their conversation to order a drink.

The pub has massively improved in the last few months since there has been a change of management! Great food, quick service and friendly staff! Massive improvement to earlier in the year! Only thing that needs an improvement is the online app for table service.

Had a great night in oneils enfield recently. The place had really improved recently after the change of management.staff are so friendly and the food is great. Only problem I can find is the order on app they don't have the full selection of bottles on the app

I went here with my husband and we really enjoyed the food, would defiantly be going back again. Would highly recommend.

I just want to set the record straight. I've visited the pub on many occasions now allways have steak with the wife allways excellent perfectly cooked and consistent very impressed. Well done o niels.

It's a nice pub for watching sports. However, the bar staff are absolutely useless. They'll be on phones and have no interest being there.

Shocking! How is this place still in business! Run out of beer and a Thursday early evening, no pimms, fridges half empty, nobody there (hardly surprising) and disinterested staff who I dared to inconvenience by asking for something at the bar! AVOID!

So....thought I would give this pub a try even after reading all these negative reviews....wow what a mistake. I ordered a Southern Fried Chicken Stack snd then waited for about 15 minutes.....the burger then came and I could see from a mile away that it was definitely not chicken but rather a beef burger with chorizo. So took the burger right back to the bar and the guy was like "o yeah you did order the chicken", no attempt at an appology or offer for a refund, I myself work in the Hospitality industry and know that guest's always come first, but definatley not in this pub.

To whom it may concern. Me and my wife are over from Ireland and was recommended to go to your pub for a proper Irish breakfast. We travelled 45 minutes there to be greeted with disappointment. At nearly 10 o clock which was when the kitchen should be open the chef was late and we were told that the kitchen equipment would take 1 and a half hours to heat up. No breakfast!! Surely a manager would think to turn on the grill and cover untill a chef was able to come in !!

Absolutely the worst pub I have been too..The bar staff are really rude and reluctant to take your order and regualrs get served straight away without having to queue up like us...Too much negative vibes at this establishment to write about which is a real let down for Enfield town and won't be visiting again...

I’m quite fussy, but this is cheap and great for a quick lunch. Clean and tidy but a bit dark inside.

You may wonder why I come in here ?

I was hoping the make-over would bring positive changes to this once historic pub, but it hasn't. If you like multi-screens plastered over all the walls, indifferent and shoddy service at the bar, this is for you. Any vestige of character this pub once possessed has now gone. The only plus point was that the lager served was at the right temperature, which isn't saying much. If you value your sanity, avoid.

The pub was cold so didnt hang around long ! I asked a worker if there heating was broke, he replyed " its a big pub to heat up and the door keeps opening". Most of the punters had their coats on and I felt a radiator on the way out and it was stone cold.

I never thought I would actually miss The Geoge but this place is actually worse! It has the same rude staff without even the benefit of a re fill coffee!! The coffee is tiny and hugely over priced and no pots of tea available! Half the time the tills or coffee machines are not working. I keep seeing customers coming in during the day then walking straight out. So surprised a company like Mitchells and Butlers would put up with this level of service. Obviously they are only interested in the evening drinkers.
