Came in for breakfast/lunch after a heavy night out. Thought we'd be too late for the hearty Irish breakfast as it was past 12 but we were able to order it. Food came in good time and really filled the gap. My boyfriend ordered the sausage and mash and we both cleared our plates. Good atmosphere at around 12/1pm, lots of people watching sports. Bar staff were quick and efficient. All round pleasant experience

Great venue with atrocious staff and service. You can tell they have money and support from the fact they had live music on, but witnessing the staff continually running away from serving customers when they walked up to the bar was just too much.

Was my birthday lunch. We all love to come to the Oneills in Enfield Town regularly as the food is overly and hot and fresh and the staff are so very helpful. On this occasion Bobbi and Chayla.. They gave my 3yr old grandaughter pens and paper to colour. The portion size is ample for lunch and clean and tidy surroundings. thank you girls ....

Have been before the lunch menu is good value and the fish a chips Are so tasty and you get a drink with it as well. The staff are friendly, only downside is the pub is a bit dark needs a bit of t l c.

O'Neill's in Enfield is the only pub worth visiting in Enfield. Ash and his team always deliver the perfect atmosphere every time. Live music on weekends is always awesome. The food is amazing. I find it hard to fault this place...

Came here for a quick drink and to watch the footy- lots of seating available and was able to get a table. You can either order drinks at the table or at the bar. They do ID you at the door if you look under 25. Be careful if there late at night as it can get very rowdy.

Ordered a mixed grill thinking it would fill me up but they only gave half the amount of food they said you would get and the steak was supposed to be rare and it was rock solid, service was terrible had to chase after staff...

It was my first visit to Enfield and my friends recommended O'neills as the place to go and when i got there the food was superb and the customer service was even better especially the barman Mike.

I had a fantastic day. The staff were helpful and the people were wholesome. I'll definitely come back again.

Me and my partner came to this bar as our hotel was up the road and we had a fantastic time! I was shocked at the bad reviews but had recently discovered had it had been taken over and you can really tell the difference. We met the bar manager Luke, he was friendly, polite and really knew his beers! We ended up speaking to him and his wonderful staff for ages about London and what was around. The food was delicious and service was so quick despite it being very busy, the barman also paid really close attention to my partner's extreme allergies making us feel so welcome (not something you get in London) We will definitely be visiting next time we are in London, as well as telling all my friends about Luke and his faboulous staff!!

Went for lunch here with some friends. Service here was slow and food orders got mixed up. It is all sorted in the end, but it wasn’t the best of experiences ever!

Regrettably I no longer visit this venue following poor service. I certainly would not recommend visiting this venue at all as it appears Covid restrictions are not being followed. Walk past after 10pm and see how many customers are still inside.

Terrible service and awful food waited a least 20 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted never again

Service here is getting slower and slower each time I visit even after COVID-19. It's also pretty noisy so it's diificult to hold conversations as you can't always hear each other. I will be stopping coming here from now on.

Went here on a Friday took my granddaughter for lunch staff was slow they had run out of lots of the food staff didn’t care took my granddaughter to the disabled toilet and it was dirty with no toilet roll in I.when the food arrived it was dried out and tasteless not going again

Visited for a quick pint whilst my wife and girls were shopping. Wasn't planned and I hadn't booked but the staff were friendly & welcoming.So good to see in these times - and shortly after reopening - that all health & safety procedures were followed. Personal details taken, hand-wash at the door, allocated a seat and shown the rules. Beer was good and the app (downloaded whilst there) was easy to use and a second pint ordered via the app was delivered quickly. So good (I hadn't planned to go back to pubs so quickly), that I went back the following day!

It's the best pub in the area best food and perfect environment for kids and family day. Highly recommend this place

Rude, lazy and incompetent staff.Rugby six nations Saturday....O'Neill's home of live sport....what a joke!Refused to put the Rugby on for 20 minutes and then refused to put the sound on until 10 minutes from full time.Staff were unfriendly and rude....laughing at the fact we wanted the rugby on and it was not.....apparently too busy wiping tables down to switch the sound on....place was pretty empty yet over an hour wait for food....several other families left due to the wait...as did I however my brother and his family and my parents stayed as had ordered food.This is the last time I go to this pub....a large group of us used to book a few tables and spend the day but we went to a very decent pub in waltham stow for the world cup as this pub consistently forgot to reserve our booking and we would always have to ask them to put the sport on the big screen!

My mother and I went to this pub for lunch today, it has a nice atmosphere and is nicely decorated, there was a nice crowd of people also. We had the the chicken and wings meal. It was a large enough portion and tasted okay, my mother said that her chicken was far to dry and therefore did not enjoy it leaving most of her chicken on her plate. I would visit this pub again.

I have recently moved to the area with my wife and popped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink the team begins the bar where very helpful and friendly my food came quickly and was very tasty. After speaking to a member of staff they told me that they have a DJ on fridays Saturdays socme and the wife popped down on our first Friday night in town the pub was very busy but the staff where still friendly and fun and the atmosphere in the bar was really good in think I've found my new weekend hangout

Went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and tried some of their new Vegan options. Very tasty and it was a lovely relaxed afternoon. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. I will definitely return here. Oh and try the Rocky Road Sundae it's a heart attack waiting to happen but you'll die happy.

I really like this pub however it turns to a bloody nightclub at 8.30pm the music is SO LOUD that we had to leave because you literally cannot talk to someone next to you.. even shouting the music is so loud that you can hear each other.this is a pub where locals can enjoy some nice food and a good friday night catch not a nightclub! Spoke to the manager that we were leaving because it's impossible to speak to the person next to you and she just didn't seem to care at all so we had to go somewhere else.I have nothing against music but when there is a time and place I hope they can listen to the reviews here. A lot of people left the pub 30 mins after the DJ came on, that surely tells you something ! And no one is dancing! Was here on a Friday night having a casual drink. Came to 8.30 and they cranked up the music so loud you couldn’t even hear yourself speak.Love the place normally but it’s a bit of a joke to see people leaving because it’s too loud at 8.30. 9.30-10pm I get but seriously 8.30?Spoke to the “manager” who didn’t seem to be the slightest bit bothered.

I booked a table to take my Irish elderly grandmother who lives in Enfield to come and watch the Ireland rugby game. When I arrived at 11:10 the rugby was not on any of the screens despite it being heavily advertised on the O'Neills website and the pub itself having various rugby promo materials all over. When I asked for the rugby to be put on I was stared at by the two ladies behind the bar, 'oh is there rugby on..' I said yes please can you put it on. One of them disappeared for a while and all of the screens then came to life with the rugby on... but no sound. I asked if the sound could be put on and was told very abruptly that there would be no sound today as it wasn't busy enough for them to put the sound on. As the pub started filling with people looking for the rugby I asked a few of them if they'd prefer to have the sound on. All of them said yes and were as confused as I was that there was no sound. The bar lady came over to my table and told me I was harassing customers and that she would have to ask me to leave if I spoke about the sound again. At this point I counted 4 different tables that were either listening to the sound through their own headphones or on loudspeaker on their tables. I asked to speak to the manager who was in the office and was told that the decision had been made that there would be no sound.All in all I had a terrible experience, the fact that an Irish pub wouldn't have the sound on for the Ireland game for the Rugby World Cup and that I was asked to leave when sitting with my mother and elderly Irish grandmother is frankly unbelievable. It was a day out for her and we were treated terribly. I tweeted the O'Neill's official account and was told to ask the manager, who of course was unavailable to speak to me. We went across the road to another pub which was playing the sound and will never go to another O'Neill's pub again.

We ate in here twice while staying with family nearby. The staff are lovely and service was excellent. The food was lovely and the nicest chips I've had in ages and the price was great for London.They also had a kids menu and the kids enjoyed what they had, i would highly recommended the burger yummy.

Had a great night. Reserved a table and even changed the time to an hour later last minute with no hassle. Stayed by our table the whole night and just ordered from the app so no waiting around and leaving friends. Excellent service and great music. Thanks

Amazing venue for food, music and most importantly beer! Popped in this morning for a breakfast and was thoroughly blown away by the warm greeting and the speed of service.

This pub has improved over the last few weeks, I believe they are under new management and it’ll be interesting to see where it goes next. They’ve got a really nice food menu and an app you can order food and drinks on so you never have to wait at the bar. Would recommend.

I went to Oneills this evening, and I was shocked at the customer service given to me by a Lady with blonde hair and light eyes (not sure of her name). I left my bag earlier that evening in the pub and i called the pub at around 10:30 where the lady told me that it is closing and even if I got there in 10 minutes noone would be here. I infact got there 15 minutes later, the doors were still open and they were all standing around having a chat. I asked for my bag and she rudely shoved it on the counter and walked off. I asked her why she didn’t let me come and get the bag if they were still open and she rudely replied saying ‘but we are closed’ yet the door was open and a customer was still inside. I am shocked at how I was treated and can’t begin to explain how offended I was when I come to see her still standing at the bar even after i’d left the pub.

Came here for the Europa final and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere despite it being taken over by football fans. Staff are friendly and the food is quality as me and my friends devices to grab some food as well and ordered the wings which usually fail in most establishments as they either over cook them or the food is bland these were neither as they succulent and flavoursome the chili wings in particular were awesome. Will definitely come back for the wings alone

Recently came in to O'neill's for a meal for the two of us and the food was lovely, better now then when we visited before the change of owners . Really nice staff as well.

Went for lunch and drinks with my friends and the service was ok 2 members of staff where chatting so didn't notice me straight away but not a problem as we're very polite once they spotted me. Ordered food which was nice but 3 hours after finishing food no one had cleared our table of dishes or glasses dispite the pub being quiet

It was my second night out in this place and must confess the DJ choice's were absolutely pathetic - lazy, ridiculous, lack of music culture as the musics kept repeating over and over (at least it seamed like that) And in the middle of the music there was this very irritating horn that left everybody intrigued. Will definitely not return.

Been a while since I’ve been here, visiting friends and we took a trip here for some drinks and food. Venue looks great! And we got served pretty quickly. Toilets were a little grim and the smell was just unpleasant we had to move to sit at the front of the pub to eat our food.

Two of us went for lunch, ordered a large “ultimate” share platter which was average. But I had one of their stone baked pizzas... when I hear stone baked I would usually assume it’s fresh but this was not the case, the pizza was inedible and smelled horrific! Like getting a waft if someone’s athletes foot in the gym!

I went to this pub last Saturday and i had a very good time.The music was amusing,all the people were dancing!!Really good atmosphere! All the staff members were smiling and Fin provided us with a great quality of service. A pub that for sure i will visit again soon...

I used to come for breakfast here whenever I visit Enfield but today I came at 8:30am and 9:00am and was told its still closed. Apparently opens at 10am for breakfast. Please bring back the The George!!!

Computers were down so no food available. When I asked whether I could bring my own sandwich in I was informed that if I did I would be requested to leave the premises. When I said I might not want to leave I was rudely instructed by an officious member of staff to leave the premises as soon as I had finished my drink - even though I hadn't brought any food in. I asked to speak to the manageress who was a bit more understanding but no more flexible.

We had heard The George had became an O’Neills, so thought we would try it out.

Now trading under the name O'Neill's. The once famous and historic pub called 'The George', which had a prominent position in Enfield for hundreds of years, has now been completely destroyed by a 'Neon City' bar of horrific proportions. The number of screens plastered on the walls seem to outnumber the clientele. Any vestige of character and atmosphere of this old pub has now been removed with the harsh reality of 21st Century cosmopolitan grotesqueness on a horrific scale. I would like to know how such authorities as English Heritage have allowed this? As I sat down and had my one and only drink, I did ponder this question, and concluded that the avarice of money, cynicism, and the lack of respect for English traditions is the only answer. On that note I left, never to return.

First time visiting this establishment since becoming O Neil’s. First impression sadly no mention of the name The George that goes back hundreds of years and though it will return to The George one day, sadly not today. It’s look very Morden , clean, Happy bar staff and they seemed have got rid of the alcoholics that sat on the main table at the entrance. We went initially to watch the football and wow what a selection of TV monitors and one giant screen but no commentary. Honestly! It was Arsenal and having a large support in the area ( as well as Spurs) why no sound?Even if it was just one half of the bar and the token indie / Irish piped music in the other then that would be wonderful. We have the World Cup coming up this year. It may explain why the Queens Head was banged out across the road. O Neil’s can be a family diner and a sports bar at the same time even for just ninety minutes. The food is OK , typical pub, small portion of chips in a tin can and starters so small you may want to go to Specsavers first. Not to expensive. Great selection of beers and wines. Thought having seen a massive industrial coffee machine that Starbucks would envy it was disappointing to see The instant coffee jar being opened and only hot water from the dispenser.

Now trading as an O'Neills. Seems to be a change in name and decor only. Lots and lots of tv screens for sports. No real ales on tap on my visit. Still a very slow food service. Took 20 mins after my order for staff to tell me my selection wasn't available. Food is merely ok-ish and I'm being generous here. Is it the management or Mitchell & Butler that tolerate such averageness?

First visit and won't be back! When they close tomorrow for a refurb they should stay shut or at least replace the staff when the do reopen! Can't get the drinks right, half the menu missing because of refurb, don't bother to ask you what you want when you do order even though there's a choice of sides and when they bring the food out and you mention that you wanted mash and not chips waitress is so rude and responds by telling you it wasn't ordered and walks off. When we questioned about missing veg, rudely told they didn't have any. Lastly waitress comes to collects plates when people are still eating. Sausage and mash portions were so tiny - more like kids sized meals. Lots of other complaints being made by other customers for missing food, wrong orders and wrong drinks being served. Regardless of being refurbished, we won't be going back in a hurry!

Was going around the old pubs i used to visit when i lived in Enfield. This was the starting point. Changed a bit since i was last there. Service and beer choice was reasonable but nothing special. The pub wasn't that busy so not sure how they would cope with a crowd. Very convenient for a quick beer while shopping.

We should have known when we first sat down in The George when we could not move the chair as it was stuck to the carpet (literally) with discarded chewing gum. The service at the bar was below average, being charged different prices for the same drinks (which happened the last time we stopped for a drink in The George)

We went here on a Friday night as haven't been to the George in a long while. Have to say was so disappointed, it's changed so much. Firstly it was how hot last night and they don't put the air con on. App broke months and months ago and still not fixed. Then by 10 they had run out of ice. The tonic mixers weren't kept in fridge meaning they served it with warm spirit. Ended up being so hot in there we couldn't stay. Such a shame because before the George used to be such a good night out. Headed over to kings head and had a much better time.
