Very dark staff have favourite people who they serve first even if been waiting bedore them

A bit rough around the edges but a brilliant local friendly pub. Great karaoke on Friday and Sunday nights. Pool table Darts and skittle alley. Definitely worth a visit.

Spent money just to feel not wanted my dogs felt anxious just because of a customer that wanted them on a lead for no reason, on top of it the worker telling me and my girlfriend to stop talking about someone we don’t even know talking about our dogs I asked him do you have an issue he said no I said brilliant that’s good as long as you don’t I don’t. She then came up and said I don’t want a fight at the end of my shift leave stop starting stop starting whoever owns this place needs to sort out the staff, for first getting involved in a calm conversation and for the only person shouting was the worker, sort out you’re staff!!

This is a great local pub. There is lots going on, there is a nice atmosphere and it's a really friendly place.

Always something on. Skittles, Darts. Poker. Pool. Quizes Kareoki etc. Can be crowded at times. Bar staff are always very friendly.

First time there, friendly staff, happy hour, what more do you need in life!

Old fashioned pub. Not many around anymore. Nice atmosphere and great Guinness

If you go there to play skittles, the alley is next to the back door of the building, which is wedged open by everyone who walks through it to the smoking area, which is outside, but an enclosed area attached to the building. Spent all night closing the door to try & block out the fag smoke.

Proper pup. Still a good atmosphere and great prices.great venue for the traditional pup goers. Not perhaps for the faint hearted.

Best pub in Gloucester if you like beer, darts, pool, skittles, football, .,..sport but most importantly POKER.

Fantastic homely pub with a great atmosphere and a good selection of good value beers. Very busy as it was karaoke night, but service was quick and we were served always with a smile.

Proper pub. Loved it. No mixed grills coming out every 5 minutes, just pints, packets of crisps and the football!

Great for watching football, TV's everywhere, efficient staff but very much a locals pub.

Good fun and friendly vibe. Service is decent. Unfortunately during lockdown no food service but they let you order in. There is outside and inside seating. There are heaters outside in case it gets cold. Toilets were clean and all the patrons are quite friendly. Prices are nice and inexpensive. I would go back here for sure.

An excellent people's pub, old school love it.

Stayed here for a week. It's a lovely place easily accessible and most importantly the owner Pat is very sensible and friendly. She ensures the guests get best experience out of her place. She maintains her staff also in same manner. First day we had some room mix up but she immediately arranged for alternate and also offset my cost. I would definitely recommend this stay. Room has nice cozy bed, table, hanger set, nice sofa, good enough heater etc.... We also had the liberty of using the shared kitchen with access to everything. Please note that the bathroom is shared between two rooms. But we never had any problems. Friday and weekends you get free music from the bar downstairs :)
