This is a fantastic wee place. We were in Seahouses a couple of weeks ago and visited the cafe a few times for breakfast. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always seem to be in a good humour. Service is pretty quick too . The full English is seriously good, thoroughly enjoyable. Got to say that the sausage and black pudding are really tasty, as is everything else in the breakfast really. Will definitely be back for a return visit

We arrived at 9am on Saturday morning just as the cafe was opening. We were with our little grandson and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were delivered promptly and perfectly cooked along with a perfect pot of tea. There were even some toys to keep our grandson amused while we waited a short time for our meals to be delivered. Highly recommended.

I’m sorry to have to write a poor review but our experience here was not good. Having seen the previous reviews, we had already decided that we would have Sunday breakfast here during our holiday. It was a good sign that people were waiting outside for it to open at 10am. We queued for a time to place our order and were disappointed to have to wait for 30 minutes for the food to arrive, even though people who came after us were being served. My small breakfast was burned on one side as raw on the other yet still managed to be almost cold, and there wasn’t much of it either. My husband asked for poached eggs and they were best described as ‘bouncy’. Very disappointed.

(we probably should of just left then) Our little boy was not going to sit still on a chair while we all ate, I had to go home for his pushchair by the time I got back our food was out and cold. Sat with our coats on as all the windows were open (it was a very windy 13 degree day) basically eat our food and left. How can a cafe not have highchairs and if so on the way in when they see you have a small child why don't they mention it? Won't be returning.

Vsited on 22nd december. Nice place, lovely looking cakes but no scones. Ordered two coffees and a toasted teacake. The coffee was served and was without doubt the worst coffee I have eve tasted. Thecafe had by now filled up but this did not seem to bother the girl chatting. Our teacake eventually arrivedand I must say it was lovely. What a pity thecoffre was so atrocious.Mypartner wouldnot let me complain otherwise I wojldhave. The staff need to rouse themselves into action.. The delay in serving the teacake was unnecessary. the cafe being practically empty at the time we ordered.Serving the coffee then a big delay means either (a) drinking the coffee syraight away or (b) waiting for the teacake and letting the coffee grow cold UGH! it wasbad enough drinking it hot.

While we were in I watched them with other customers and they were curt to the point of being rude at times. Such a shame, a cafe in a tourist spot such as this should thrive on good customer service. Coffee was ok, just black coffees so nothing fancy. The cakes are served in enormous slices, quantity rather than quality I’m afraid. On a side note, there was no soap in the toilets either.

Yes please a slice of your coffee and walnut and an Americano with milk along with quiche and pot of tea for the lady and I must say it was a lovely treat and an unexpected change and very reasonably price, not sure how popular the alcohol sides of things would be but sure another couple of lines in the chiller to be addressed but we were happy with the turn out and change on this occasion found staff to be friendly once people were leaving tables were cleared quickly and cleaned although only a few in when we were there they seemed to be kept busy keeping the place spotless would of course visit again the next time we are there without question

We visit One Coffee 1 every morning when up in Seahorses, usually 3 or 4 times a year. Coffee is very good, loyalty card is an excellent bonus and the food hits the spot. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there are always customers in enjoying the lovely selection of cakes and food . This place is always worth a visit, give it a try.

A good selection of yummy cakes and portions are good, the area around out table let the score down, it was not as clean as it should have been, some food debris present.

Stopped off from Bamburgh after a blustery, snowy, bitingly cold walk with the dogs on the beach. Big cup of coffe and a hot chocolate, then spotted the home made scones. One fruit and one cheese scone later... happy campers, extra cheese with the scone.

Friendly cafe. Tasty light lunch. Desserts and cakes are freshly made and looked beautiful. Strawberry tart was very popular on the day we visited. Free WiFi. Dogs not allowed inside, but there are seating areas outside. Also the cafe has its own car park.

Popped in here whilst driving around the North East coast, we chose the afternoon tea for 2. What a bargain and great food, large pot of tea for 2, large scone each with fresh cream and jam, large slice of quiche each, cheese and ham sandwiches and large slice of cake each all for about £15. We had to take some away with us in containers happily supplied by the owner. It doesn't look the greatest place from outside but was clean and the service was very friendly. We were both very glad that we dropped in certainly kept us going for a good few hours whilst we continued up the coast then back down through Morpeth to Otterburn where we were staying.

I was back in Seahouses in need of ,lunch after a year away and remembered how impressed I was with this cafe on my last visit to it. Service is really welcoming and friendly and they have a superb collection of delicious cakes on display. They serve a good range of casual breakfast and lunch dishes. My jacket potato was well topped and delicious. Prices are very fair. The place has the added advantage of car parking and a clean toilet. I look forward to my next visit.

Stopped off in the afternoon for a snack and the food and service was excellent. The size of the deserts was amazing and great value for money. Free wifi is available and we will certainly return here.

An absolute gem on the Holy Island! We stopped here to grab a sandwich, some cake, and a drink to take with us as we explored the island. The customer service was excellent, the owner was an absolute delight and super helpful. The food is delicious, and a really good selection too! And on top of all that they sell maps and books of the island as well, it really is a must visit and a one stop shop for everything you need on your island adventures!

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to do a walk at Kielder. Loved the place. Fantastic , well cooked , quality breakfast. Decent size and good value at £10.50 including toast and a brew. Couldn’t fault the food. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Ticked all the boxes for us. Dog friendly. Liked Falstone so much did a walk from there instead of Kielder and came back to the Old School for dessert. Bread and Butter pudding with cream or custard ! Although I was tempted by the Old School sponge. Thank you for a lovely experience
