We had a quick pre-theatre dinner here. I had the most delicious Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup. My husband's Fried Chicken and Rice was also excellent. Fab-u-lous

Delicious lunch. There is a bit of queue at lunchtime, but they are very quick and not too long to wait (on a Wednesday). Got the single yangyum with 2 flavours, 12 pieces and we ate in 2, to ne for a single person is too much. It costed £15 though, takw away. The chicken was very good as well as the sauces.

I used to come all the time before COVID - since then prices increased a LOT but why not .. I was still going even if less often. But now the portions have shrinked a lot .. ending up payin £16 today for buns and dumplings and the buns where much smaller than before, same for the dumplings... it's a real shame because i used to really like this place (but dont take me wrong food is still really good!) but will really think twice about going again unfortunately ... They also used to have a loyalty card but stopped it !

My family and I dropped by for late lunch at On The Bab after visiting St Paul’s. Instead of the buns which we saw many others eating, we had Bi Bim Bap with bulgogi beef and Soy Ginger Korean fried chicken. The bulgogi beef in the BBB was not bad, almost as good as the others. Since this was street food and probably catered to customers on the go, BBB was served in a box. The fried chicken was alright but came drenched in soy garlic sauce instead of being more dry.

What is it about restaurants in the vicinity of Fleet Street, whether they be Italian, Asian noodle or Japanese sushi, or even English whole food, everything gets to be packed into a box? Even chains with quite swish sit-down restaurants in the North of England such as Gino Da Campo puts everything in a box in this part of the City of London. On the Bab Korean cuisine is no exception. Their other restaurants in Shoreditch and Covent Garden are fairly compact but this is a serving counter next to a kitchen with only one large table for eating in-house. Otherwise this is designed purely for takeaway. The staff seemed to think I had come in for a takeaway because they put the shrimp dumpling and beef and rice dish I had ordered in a box. The shrimp dumpling was the more successful dish. A generous portion and of a nice consistency. The beef by contrast was a bit stringy. The dish was overall a bit bland and needed to have been spiced up a tad. A cardamon based canned drink was refreshingly unusual and unusually refreshing.

Went there on a Friday for lunch just after 12pm. Managed to get a seat but there is only limited seating so come early. I went for the spicy chicken and spicy pork buns. Note that they charge 10p extra for getting two different buns rather than 2 pieces of the same. Both buns were properly filled. The spicy pork was my favourite. Really saucy and messy like I like. Nothing to add on the bao buns, really nicely executed. My friends had the beef buns and the "on the rice". Both looked happy as well. Good spot for a Friday lunch, I'll come back.

Lovely Thai restaurant conveniently located near Baker Street. Small but friendly and tasty. Reasonably priced food and drink. Would return and definitely recommend.

As it says in the title, this is the place to bear when it comes to authentic and deliciously made bubble tea. The service is always fast and I don’t think I can emphasise just how wonderful the drinks are. You get a lot of drink for what you buy plus there is just something special about the presentation of the drink and the way it is made that stays in your mind long after you finish the bubble tea. I particularly recommend the fruit teas, with some drinks it comes with fresh fruit in the drink that you can eat after! Always refreshing and sweet

Gracias.
