Good food, friendly staff, pleasant dine-in experience. The sandwiches are great, and I would also recommend the breakfast. Very reasonable prices, and overall a great choice for breakfast as well as lunch.

Waited for sandwich got one sandwich but by the time they had done2 paints the sandwich was nearly cold not good

Food is always hot and tasty. The new homemade pies and cakes are a treat.....beautiful x I got a pizzarinni which was so nice...a slice of homemade lemon drizzle cake...which was so tasty and moist and a can of pop... £6.20 I think is extremely reasonably priced. See you tomorrow for breakfast xxx

Spend more time talking to each other food expensive got a spam and egg flat cake and a bacon and tomato sandwich. Also heard them charge £2.50 for a slice of Victoria sponge the was homemade times this by 12 slices it was cut into made the cake £30.00 profit wow some mark up cost to make less than a fiver.

Maybe it’s because I’m from out of town. But I still can’t work out how they charged me over £8 for a large egg,bacon and sausage sandwich. I even took a pic of the menu and I still can’t work it out. My advice don’t go,people are just taking advantage. Butty was ok,but £8…you’re havin a laugh.

Breakfast on a roll.1 small sausage 1 small bacon hardly any toms and 1 hard rubber egg.won't go again.

Got a bacon and sausage sandwich which was ready before my money hit the till. Only had 1 sausage in the sandwich which didn't look appetising

They wasnt on a roll today 40 mins to make two toasties, go then get em in teacakes and not foil wrapped so by the time I’ve got home it’s cold

Food was ok. I stood for almost 5 minutes before anyone actually acknowledged me. Member of staff behind the till was not friendly or welcoming. I asked for 2 items - to be told the price of them abruptly and without being asked if I would like anything else. I felt rushed and won't be returning.

Great sandwich shop, staff friendly, very good value for money and they use and cook quality ingredients, (free range eggs) all meat is Yorkshire bred, I and many others love the place, highly recommended.::::::::::::::::update. On a roll offers a good range of sandwiches both hot and cold at reasonable prices. Items are made fresh to order. Staff are friendly, what more could you want?

Delicious! Really recommend for a breakfast bap, or even some lunch. You can ring up and order to collect. More of a takeaway than a cafe - but there are 2 tables inside.

Lovely little sandwich shop - more of a takeaway although there is a couple of tables for you to eat in. I would recommend their breakfast boxes they are great value for money! They also have various specials such a quiches etc. The jacket potatoes are great for lunch. The shop does hot and cold sandwiches so a good all rounder!

Great Cafe, lovely people, Emily and the rest of the girls are always bright & bubbly! The teacakes. they use...I've no idea what they are but possibly nicest teacakes I've had, very tasty. Full English spot on too!

Used to go everyday but recently sandwiches gone downhill Bacon and sausage used to be great Now the bacon is rock solid and two small pieces of bacon and one sausage just not enough Think they've gone on an keep same prices but less in sandwich And they don't even smile anymore Tall blonde girl is nice and friendly but the rest don't even seem bothered anymore

You can't beat On a Roll on a Saturday morning when you want a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich. Absolutely scruptious! Very tasty, very filling and very reasonably priced! Does the job! Spot on.

Not a restaurant or really a café, but a really good, clean and friendly little takeaway, with a small indoor seating area for those wishing to eat their breakfast butty or light lunch inside. Takeaway butties are the most popular, hence the name.....On a roll. If you ever fancy a bacon butty and a cup of tea on the go.....this is the place for you!

my dad love's a good bacon butty before setting on are adventurous bike ride, we are loyal customer at this fine dining establishment, because of there great value for money and there great tasting bacon butty i recommend to all who love a good bacon butty.

Try the bacon sausge tom with brown sauce, amazing belly buster at £2.10.p You may have to wait for it been prepped as its all made upon walking through the door. great staff and clean building. PS i think they must use Bert Marshall tea cakes as there amazing and so fresh. lovely staff too,
