The food was great, but cold. Not sure if because of the restaurant or the courier. First time that this happens after many many orders, hopefully the last one as well🤞

Hey fish lover! Too large portions alert! Friendly yet professional staffs, they make you feel welcomed. And yes, must try their fish and chips!!! Try to have it then and there itself, because then the fish won’t be soggy and you’ll have great experience! P.S.: If you want to have some chilling spicy, carry for yourselves ;)

A very nice, cosy, hospitable restaurant. Food very nice and well presented. Had cod & chips. Complimentary salad served. But £1.80 for a gerkin, and £2.40 for poor quality mushy peas, was a dismal realisation. Batter was overdone underneath, but overall, a very nice place.

Chips very nice. Freshly cooked & moist BUT as for Fish, both Cod & Haddock both overcooked. The Cod although overcooked the fish was still okay BUT as for the Haddock it was the worst, it was revolting & dearest. The extra touch of an overcooked end piece shoved inolooked so overcooked it went straight in the bin. As for the main piece, old, stale fish, flesh very salty as if brined before battering & just plainly well overcooked, so flesh all dry & discoloured. Disgusting will not re-order from here again as the Fish is the most important part of Fish & Chips & costing a fortune for below standard food. Sorry really disappointed & let down by. Ignored message left with order also.

Decent fish and chips, really tasty

Chips lovely & fresh & moist but crispy outers. Not too many end bits which come up dry & horrid. The let down was the Saveloys which although had a fabulous flavour came up far too hot & spicy - Saveloys are not meant to have fiery heat. It was a let down

Amazing experience dining in at Olympus, the cod was huge but so delicious I couldn’t help but eat more than usual. I still had more than enough to take back for lunch tomorrow though! Don’t sleep on the starters especially the hummus, tarama dips with fresh bread and salad— they go hard. Will come back again and try the desserts :) Everyone there was very friendly, especially Chef Eddie!

So far the best haddock fish and chips we had, at least on this side of London. The large is enough for 2 people maybe even 3 less than average sized folks. It was cooked fresh with an abundant amount of fries. We made the mistake of ordering first then asking to eat inside which apparently is not the right way since the prices are different for dine in. The manager was kind enough to let us eat in anyway. Ambiance is more of a dressed up fast food place. All in all it was delicious food and a good experience. Oh yeah it was one of the only places open late in the area too.

Superb food, quickly delivered. I have ordered from Olympus several times in the past and they have NEVER let me down. I recommend them highly. Thanks guys. 5 stars!

Good size and tasty fish. Good portion chips but the worst mushy I’ve ever had. Chips are a bit expensive and 40p for a single pathetic tartar sauce packet will only give you half a mouthful. I hope they make these little changes to make themselves better.

I’m sure the food was cooked well… HOWEVER, it took over 30 minutes from leaving the restaurant to arrive stone cold to me…. WHY was this…? It’s once again the driver got 2 orders at the same time & my order was delivered last… it spoilt my evening as I had to throw away the food & order from other service… I feel very angry as I waited my money once again… I have brought to JustEats HQ as I don’t understand why they keep doing this practice…. I will think twice about using JustEats service again

Ordered take away a couple of times, fish is well fried, nice and crisp, good batter. Chips are your standard chip shop chips. Wish they made tartar sauce in house but alas it is a dying tradition. Overall, great spot for some fish and chips!

The owner left a sour feeling when all he was interested in was extracting as much money as possible from us. Overcharging is a theme here.

I ordered 1 Large Haddock 1 Cod 1 Large chips & Mushy Peas. Everything was cooked fresh whilst I waited & it was delicious. Excellent service

Chips have been a bit hit and miss lately, maybe change of season or cooking oil maybe? But tonight they were good. Fish is always very good.

The food was amazing as always! The driver didn't ring the bell for my floor (which was clearly written in the order, so I didn't hear the delivery. And I didn't have the phone with me so I didn't hear their call. I found the plastic bag with the food on my doorstep when I saw the missed call. So the fish was cold :(

This is our local dish and chips shop. We have often take away which is very efficient and highly satisfying! The restaurant was one of our favourite local places and I am sure it will still be!

Refried day old chips inedible

We’ve eaten in Olympus’ restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the food. This was the first time getting take away and we weren’t disappointed. Great portion size, the quality of the fish was wonderful and very well seasoned. I would definitely recommend!

A real delight in Finchley.The combination of a fish restaurant with a turkish cuisine makes for an excellent choice in this part of London.Starting with the extensive meze , moving to the mains, all is served in a nice way.The cod fish&chips is one of the best that i've had lately, and the grilled seabass my partner had,was very good, as well.Pleasant atmosphere and a very attentive service by the owner.

It's been our one and only favourite fish and chip restaurant since we moved to North Finchley. The quality and quantity of portions is more than enough for a hungry family. Highly recommended.

The fish was cooked to perfection. We ate grilled salmon, fried cod and fried haddock. The size of all fish was enormous. The restaurant was very clean and the tables were dressed with white cloths. It was a lovely evening out.

I thought I clicked on cod and chips but it turned out I'd only ordered cod - for 4 people - so it was a bit of a disaster. A shame as the fish was very nice.

Order from here regularly, unfortunately this time was a disappointment. Usually the chips that are £4 are served separately, this time there was a few shoved on top of the fish , definitely not a whole portion.

If you’re craving a hearty portion of great fish in the Finchley area, Olympus Fish Restaurant should be your first thought! This restaurant is excellent, potions are huge, and flavor is perfectly on point. I visited here for the first time recently and could not have been happier with my meal. I went with someone who comes here often, and even though I don’t remember the exact name of the fish I got, they told me that pretty much everything on the menu is excellent. The best fish and chips you'll find anywhere. Charcoal grilled fish absolutely delicious and huge. Chips made from REAL potatoes and very generous portions + very fresh and beautifully presented salad. Owner is welcoming and attentive. Other staff very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

We were a party of 4 Adults. There is a very big choice of menu as well as choices on a set menu. We all chose the set menu which consisted of a choice of Starter, Haddock or Plaice with Chips or New Potatoes, Salad and Tea or Coffee all for £20. Excellent portions, hot and beautifully fried fish, and value for money. Super, friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Suggest booking to be safe.

We always enjoy eating in Olympus restaurant but this is the first delivery. The food was just as tasty as eating in. The good surprise was that the food was very hot on delivery and we enjoyed it just as much. We would highly recommend Olympus!!
