Best local Italian in Bushey. Food is incredible and always to the best standard. The service is quick and the staff are always lovely and polite. Couldn’t recommend a better Italian!

We had an amazing Birthday celebration lunch for a party of 13 ranging in age from 2 to 90. The welcome was very friendly, the staff efficient and attentive throughout. Food quality was as always excellent, especially the Veal Milanese. Portion sizes were generous and prices very reasonable given the standard. We will definitely be back.

Olivios is a lovely little restaurant, with a really nice atmosphere, in the heart of Bushey. The food is always good and the staff are always really helpful and friendly. The prices give great value for money and, as you can bring your own drinks, the overall cost of a visit makes Olivios well worth a visit.

I went the other night with a friend for dinner. When we arrived the manager AJ gave us a warm welcoming and let us to chose a table where we feel comfortable even was a busy night.The food was amazing. I had for main cannelloni and my friend ask the chef for a pasta with specific ingredients and he was happy to do it. The best cannelloni I ever had. Also the starter was very tasty. We were happy to buy our own bottle of wine from next door. I'll definitely be back!!

Food mediocre, the best dish we ordered was the mushroom ravioli which was flavoursome and really tasty. The garlic pizza bread and pizzas we found to have a soggy base. The other pastas just lacked in flavour and salt. The service was actually good considering it was busy although we did have to wait a while for the bill as the card machine had broken down. I also like the fact that when we walked in, someone actually acknowledged we were there and said they’d be with us which a lot of restaurants lack these days and almost ignore you’re there to pay their wages. What annoyed us was that the menu stated parties of 6 or more will be charged 10% service charge. There were only 5 of us so we were stunned to see service charge on the receipt - not only that but it was at 20%! We queried with the manager who said that it’s not 10% and ‘for this period’ we are charging 20% which he said was optional. We asked what ‘this period meant’ and took it as the period of eat out to help out. This was not written anywhere and we’d stated this to him and said we won’t be paying any service charge to which he replied ‘so you won’t be paying?’ From the person who’d just told us we wouldn’t have to pay we didn’t expect him to keep indirectly asking if we were going to pay it. This is absolutely ridiculous and illegal, he’d taken the recipes but if I’d had it I would have gone to trading standards because it’s illegal to do this. I don’t understand the need to try and trick your paying customers who could potentially return, not to mention the fact that they will still get the rest of the 50% from the government so they are not losing out! Before I’d received the bill I said I might return to have the mushroom ravioli again however after that experience I will never return and won’t recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately there are always people who won’t question it and rather pay it because they’re embarrassed or can’t be bothered. Think about it this way, they were trying to charge us £8 service charge. That is the equivalent to another dish in there! The funny thing is we probably would have paid some sort of tip. People should be getting paid minimum wage so unless they’ve gone above and beyond their job then why the service charge? You don’t tip your bus driver for getting you to your destination safely...

This was our first time at Olivio's, we wanted to try the restaurant because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed... This is more a cafe than a restaurant. For starters we ordered the mussels and the tiger prawns, these were both incredibly small portions for the price paid and for what you get in other restaurants for similar dishes. There was no bread served with either dishes, half of the mussels were empty shells and the prawns were served with a few slices of iceberg lettuce and 2 olives... For mains we both ordered pizza, again these were very basic for the price paid and again smaller than what you'd get in other restaurants. The dessert of warm chocolate fudge cake wasn't warm in the slightest and didn't taste fresh, was a little stale, as was the tiramasu. We would not come here again as the bill was expensive for what we had, portions small and it felt like the quality was not up to standard - maybe because of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, I'm not sure, but as new customers we certainly won't be eating here again. Not at all authentic Italian like so many other reviews suggest...

Been eating at Olivios for several years. Can't get enough of their food, coupled by great service and friendly staff. My son who is a pasta connoisseur, and who had several pasta dishes in Italy at top recommended restaurants, categorically says it is still his "favourite pasta in the world". The Pizzas are also to die for. Always been sitting at restaurant, but lately, during lock-down, keep ordering take aways. Also delicious at home in trackies. Top!

I went with my family for an evening treat. The waitress was very attentive and took our order. When our starters arrived we were v.surprised with the size of the portions served. The whitebait and calamares were tiny. The plates of food came with loads of salad and very little else. I must say that what there was was very tastey. Just not enough of it. The garlic bread was delicious as was the mussels. We were very pleased with our main courses and enjoyed them. The desserts were also delicious. Just a shame about the starter portions. Will definately go again but just for a main course and possibly a dessert.

Olivios is a traditional Italian restaurant in the centre of Bushey. There is a large menu with a wide range of reasonably priced pizza and past dishes and a great selection of desserts. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. It is perhaps not the most stylish restaurant to sit in but the meal was good.There were siz of us seated around a square table that was a bit sqashed - given that the restaurant wasn't that busy (on a Monday night) I would have rather if we had had a bit more space.

We have been going to Olivio’s for many years and have always enjoyed their varied menu and friendly staff. Now they have a ‘bring your own’ alcohol policy. Makes for a really enjoyable evening with friends and a great end to the week at a very reasonable price.

First time we’ve been there is about 12 years! I think it’s changed hands, the pizzas were all fabulous. Just how we would make them if we could! As it’s BYO it’s a very cost effective. We will be going back there anytime we feel like a great pizza.

What a lovely surprise. The food tasted great. We had steak, king prawns, pizza and risotto. Clear plates all round! I would describe the food as rustic as the presentation wasn't great. We would definitely recommend and will return. Oh and did I mention it was great value?

We booked a table last week and on arrival found that you can bring your own wine as they don’t offer alcohol so I went a couple of shops down and bought a bottle. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was very good and good portions and very reasonable. A very nice evening with family.

There were 17 of us at a celebration meal for my Husbands 80TH Birthday , the meal was excellent, the waiting staff were very friendly and the manager had also put up Happy 80TH Birthday banners . We all had a very enjoyable meal . I had already taken the alcohol , wine , lager etc to the restaurant a couple of days before our meal so there was no problem about the restaurant having no alcohol licence . The Manager and staff went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect . I apologise to the other customers if we were a bit noisy . Many thanks to the Manager and staff for such a nice evening .

I can say that this restaurant every time I go with my family or friends has not disappointed, the food is more than excellent and tasty, the waitresses are always kind and helpful, a very busy place but together with the owner they try to give the best service to satisfy all our requests. Our previous visit was not a good one but decided to give it another try in case it had improved no drinks licence so water was the order of the day. Our orders were taken and I told the waitress to ....please do not rush the second course and I was assured a suitable delay would be allowed. Starters were bland including my salmon pate which bore no resemblance to a salmon. I reconfirmed that we would not be rushed and was assured by the lovely waitress that it was being delayed. No sooner were our plates removed...guess what....the main courses arrived. Apparently the Owner had ordered the kitchen to get on with it. Tasteless and overcooked Escalope Milanese. Overall we were all disappointed with the meal but interestingly despite apologies from the waitresses, the Owner just ignored us and our complaints.

My teenage kids love the food here returning every Friday, however I also use for business meetings and in the evening with my partner. Awesome food, service and can’t keep away loving the pizza and sneaked out to have a solo. Highly recommended
