This is a delightful coffee shop right in the centre of Preston's busiest shopping area. Lune Street Central Methodist Church is just around the corner from Fishergate. It has great coffee and the home baked cakes are delicious. I think they are the best prices in Preston. The staff are really friendly and people often who go fro the first time become regulars.

Great for a toasted teacake, slice of toast or a piece of cake with a hot drink. The best value in town. It is all so economical. It is all run by volunteers with the proceeds going to maintain the good works of the Church.

What a brilliant, friendly place. The cakes are delicious. They also sell toast and toasted teacakes. The tea comes with extra water and the coffee is made with milk. The prices are very competitive, as far as I know it's the cheapest in town, come and try for yourself.

We've never been to Preston before the cafe looked nice and inviting from the kerb, inside was nice, staff curtious.its a shame food was below standard. The pie was so hard and stale, the gravy was a thick tasteless gloom. The burger was one you would get in a Pizza shop. Not good at all.

Situated on a junction controlled by traffic lights made it difficult to enter the small and compact car park. Having eventually parked the car I was please that I’d stopped here. Inside, the premises have been tastefully designed and converted from what was probably a Bank. It has is a small room where you can sit which has a large safe/vault door. The rest of the premises have a variety of tables and chairs spread around the room. There is also outdoor seating with canopies covering them. Our coffees were very good along with some Biscotti biscuits. It was nice to relax on a Sunday afternoon reading a newspaper whilst it poured with rain outside.

Really great night and a special shout out for Max, who made my wife’s night with a special cocktail. Max was attentive through the night, engaging in our conversation and generally being a great host. Will definitely be returning!!!!

Bernadette & I called in for a "Light Lunch" after we had been performing on Preston Flag Market" Our first visit to The Larder. We were made very welcome - the food was marvellous - far outweighing our expectations. The place has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Well done I can honestly say - never, in my 68 years, have I had a baked potato, served to me, that looked so appetising.
