Donna and Mark spared no effort to ensure it would be; from the moment we met them, they were professional, organised and attentive (and so flexible - they took lots of little changes from us in their stride!). Beyond their professionalism, they are such lovely, genuine people, and this is so clear in the passion and effort they put into making your day special. Our wedding felt so unique and sacred - Donna and Mark genuinely care and the value of that personal touch cannot be understated. Every single part of our day - from the big set pieces to the finer details - felt like it was just for us. A gorgeous, one of a kind venue, run by amazing people, located in the stunning Sunnyhurst woods - we never seriously considered anywhere else. Thank you for making our dream wedding possible! Donna and Mark were excellent, Our Wedding Day was Wonderful

We held a family party here recently which was a lovely successful afternoon/evening with family coming from far and wide. The venue was perfect for what we wanted, the buffet was plentiful and just what we ordered. Nothing was too much trouble for Donna and Mark who were very accommodating!

What an amazing place this is. We had a small function here the other month and we can’t fault the place. All I can say is OMG!! Donna and Mark are really professional in everything they do, believe me when I say they did everything for us. The next time we are back up north I’d love to pop in and say thank you again.

What a lovely venue for a wedding or any special occasion, set in sunny hurst woods it’s a ideal venue for that personal touch, Donna and Mark go above and beyond to make your day special for you. Fresh locally sourced ingredients are used in the kitchen, with a fully stocked bar to compliment your meal, there’s even an ice cream shop for the big and little kids.

Excellent staff with wonderful personalities! Really a pleasure to know them and work with them. Very satisfied!

Fabulous location But difficult to access.. Dont wear heels if your attempting to walk down to the venue.. wine very well priced.🤗

From the very first time we saw the Kiosk we knew that was our venue. Donna and Mark put us immediately at ease, we booked there and then. Any question, any query was dealt with swiftly and with courtesy. Popping in to look or discuss was welcomed and again the whole process was flawless. Yesterday 3rd July, we had our wedding in the beautifully laid out Kiosk. Donna and Mark along with their amazing staff did us proud, we couldn’t have had a better day. They even stopped the rain for us! I your looking for an intimate wedding location for your wedding, go here first, you’ll love it. Many thanks for an amazing fuss free day. Went to a wedding open day her and booked are future wedding the lady who ownes it is lovely and her husband to and very good value for money for what's on offer can't wait for big day but if you looking for nice woodland forest setting with character then look no further and don't have massive budget this place can suit many budgets :)

Donna & Mark Thank you so much for providing a service which was faultless and gave so much fun for our guests.The product and service recieved for our wedding ceremony and reception was excetional, All our wishes from colour scheme, exceptional quality food which all our guests commented on, to our evening with a Dj who entertained our guests and provided a evening of fun and all the music which made our evening special. When we organised this wedding we did so using individual services and the day turned out perfect. We are so glad we used your companies services which were attentive to detail and we would say to all prospective bride and grooms. The main stream hotel chains offering wedding packages will not come close to the attentive service Donna & Mark aspire to, the beautiful setting, quality food package and evening entertainment providing space and accomodating our photo booth. Beautiful venue and friendly atmosphere

Had a lovely afternoon for my Mum's 80th Birthday. Because of the Covid restrictions we could not have the party in the Kiosk so had it in the Marquee. This was really lovely as we decorated the Marquee and chose afternoon tea so the tables looked lovely with the china sets/cake stands etc. Donna & Mark were extremely helpful & worked extremely hard to keep us all happy throughout the afternoon. Thank you to them both for a lovely memorable day.

What can I say?! I wish I could give more stars! We booked this venue in 2018 for our wedding that should have taken place in July. Due to covid, we had no choice but to postpone the wedding and Donna made it so much easier for us. She was so flexible and kept us up to date with the latest guidance and was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions. I was so worried about how the day was going to play out with more restrictions in place, but even with them - it was still magical. A gorgeous venue with a really beautiful setting at amazing value. Everything was included - down to the photographer and the wedding car, both were also amazing! I would absolutely recommend the olde England kiosk. The staff on the day were all so friendly and they changed the room around after the ceremony so quickly! Our day could not have been more perfect and we're so grateful for having us! Thank you so much!

Donna, Mark and staff gave me a memorable day with their efficient but unobtrusive service. The food was excellent with very generous portions and everyone remarked how good it was. The setting in Sunnyhurst Woods is beautiful. Donna was so helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and she even turned photographer and took some photos for us. The weather was sunny after all the rain, how did you organise that Donna? I would definitely recommend the Kiosk as a venue.

Had my wedding day at the Olde England Koisk in July. It was magical. The decor was perfect. The staff were brilliant. The owner/planner of the Koisk was very attentive and answered any questions I had even if it was at 10 at night and she was very kind as well as gave me little pep talks when i really needed it. The food was absolutly brilliant my husband still raves about the bbq burgers. This was a perfect venue for our wedding couldn't have asked for a better one.

What can I say about this place. ! I held my twins 21st birthday party here at the kiosk . They wanted something different, for their birthday , It did not disappoint.. !! We had the venue from 3pm until late , I decided on the kiosk firstly for its beautiful setting, You can sit outside and enjoy being next to the river, there is a play area for the children, which meant parents where happy, The food was delicious, and was served in the marquee . The kiosk inside and outside is beautiful , It has a well stocked bar and gin bar . Donna and Mark are great hosts nothing seemed to much trouble. I can honestly say a great time was had by everyone. If you want something special , this is the place , I would highly recommended this little gem .

The kiosk holds a very special place in my heart. 13 years ago I got married there and in July of this year we had my brothers wake there. As my brother was only 30, we wanted a wake that he would have loved so we requested a bbq. The hosting and food were fantastic and they made what was a very difficult day perfect and just as we requested. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend the olde England kiosk.

Held my daughter's wedding here and was very impressed. Donna was very professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we were very comfortable in the very lovely surroundings.

I did a photoshoot here! And it was a very pleasing place to be. A nice and small building but great. The outside is beautiful.

Visited for a friends 60th Birthday. Lovely building in Sunnyhurst woods. Lovely setting amongst the woods by the river. The room we was in was ideal for a small function with good size dance floor and well stocked bar at reasonable prices. It was a BBQ supper which was very nice. Lovely for a wedding as well.

A beautiful setting. Lovely building but it was freezing in there. Was there for a christening and was in there for 2 hours before they put the heating on. You could see your own breath in the toilets.

My son had his wedding here on Saturday. Donna could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she is so friendly and approachable. The food was excellent and was highly commented on. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was served quickly and very little waiting between courses, The DJ and evening buffet, that were also included in the package were again brilliant. I cannot praise Donna and her staff enough for an excellent day.

Visiting the woods yesterday we stopped at the Olde England Kiosk. This beautiful building set in the middle of the woods is just stunning even on a cold damp autumn day. At the side of the building there is a small section that has seating and is undercover, selling refreshments. There is a bell you ring to alert the staff that you are there. A wonderfully friendly lady served us and took the time to even have a chat. Not only a stunning function venue, but a great wood walk break as well. A squirrel stopped by making it an even more special experience 🐿

What can I say about this place, absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding here in June 2017, amazing. Lindsey was brilliant and made our day run smoothly. Lindsey couldn't do enough for us and we think she went above and beyond for us. The staff were very professional and efficient. The venue was decorated beautifully.Food - The wedding food was lovely, the buffet we got with the package we can not fault it all high quality foods really surprised as the package we got for the full day was so cheap. The beef and potato pie absolutely amazing again high quality.Cake - The cake was tasty and very nicely decorated. DJ - was brilliant played all types of music for the young and old.Bar - The bar stocked a lot of different alcohol and great prices to.Photographer and Car - Although Andrew was a lovely guy, we wish we had got a back up photographer after receiving proofs of the photographs we are beyond not happy with them upset actually. We got sent 171 proofs out of them there was around 120 decent and even them we need editing because of stuff in the background that is clearly visible, we felt it was rushed. Sunnyhurst woods is a beautiful venue with a lot of features and non of which were captured, not to mention missed a picture of the bridal party and wife arriving in their cars. Just glad guests had brought their camera as their pictures were a lot better. We got offered a free upgrade deal, this was before we saw the proofs we was told that we could have more pictures but in a photobook rather than a photo album, thought yes why not as they seem to be the in thing now. After seeing the proofs we now know why we got the free upgrade, cause they were terrible. Anyways we was told 2 weeks for this to arrive 3 weeks went by and rang up and got told they not even been sent off yet. Wasn't impressed. After a discussion with myself and wife we decided to cut our losses and just ask Andrew for the usb stick and that way I can sent it off to be edited and make our own photo album and can mix the few from Andrew with the ones we got from family and friends.Car - the car was beautiful only thing is not right professional I believe the chauffer should be all suited and booted not just in their own clothes.The car and photography was the only thing to let this package down.

Went there for a wedding doo first time I had been was lovely staff were brilliant and beer wasn't too expensive cost £7 for 2 pints of lager

we had a wonderful night at the kiosk celebrating our friends wedding the food was excellent the drinks were reasonable prices staff very helpful only downside was lack of phone signal to get a taxi home

Cozy little venue situated in picturesque Forrest surroundings. Daytime cafe open most days and function room with Tudor styled decor with futureistic entertainment available.

He estado aquí en unas cuantas ocasiones principalmente para bodas y bautizos y la comida y el servicio han sido excelentes, han comenzado una vez al mes para tener una noche mic abierta , son muy bueno cada cantante recibe. Bebida gratuita y cada mesa se pone un gran plato de bocadillos, una pareja que lo dirige nada es demasiada molestia

Nice place to stop and have a drink or ice cream whilst out walking in the woods, they could do a lot more, (better opening hours would make a big difference). They do food, and sometimes have good family days with stalls and bbq etc.

Siento decir (y estoy) que mi clasificación es un 2 por este lugar. Estoy en un buen humor, ya que de lo contrario me estoy escribiendo esto probablemente tendría clasificado 1 ... Bien, visitamos hoy aquí y lo único que quería era un café ... Así que pedí un café Americano y nos dieron una expresión en blanco, Umm está bien, entonces dijo: un café de filtro lo volvería a hacer en su lugar. Después de cinco minutos o así, el café de filtro llega. Pero no filtro es café instantáneo - en un filtro "desatascador". Pensé que iba loco pero el olor dio lejos instante (sin juego de palabras). Me iba a quejarse, pero fue pacificada por mi bella esposa que decía que irse y no estropeó nuestro día increíble en esta zona (estupendos paseos por aquí que conducen a los páramos). si miráis lo habéis adivinado derecho, yo no vamos a este lugar de nuevo. Lo que es una gran pena, porque nos sentamos pensando en nuestra próxima visita que buscan a través de sus folletos de información y menú! Pero una vez que terminó la chica trajo mi café. Gracias pero no, gracias. Nunca más! (Todo una humilde jajaja)

Lovely venue in a beautiful setting. I attended a wedding reception here last night and it was fabulous. Really enjoyed the food, bar prices were reasonable and the staff were fantastic and hard working.
