Islington public house the white Bear.great pub and good pizzas and really nice Dj music on a Friday evening. This is a lovely little pub and a sort walk from Farringdon underground.

Scrolling back I see remarkably few reviews written - averaging one every two to three months. This in itself is interesting for a Hampstead pub and may reflect the indifference we felt after ordering Sunday lunch last month. Sparse portions and overcooked vegetables. As a local there are plenty of other places in North London we would go next time in preference unfortunately.

Myself and 3 friends had the best Sunday lunch here. We all chose different meats and all were perfectly cooked and came with crispy roast potatoes (very rare to find !) Perfectly cooked vegetables and plenty of gravy. The service was friendly and attentive . This is now my no 1 pub for Sunday lunch in Hampstead. Only 'negative' was that were no traditional desserts such as fruit crumble and sticky toffee pudding ! Probably just as well as we were all full !

Really excellent pub food (superb quality fish and chips) and other tapas small dishes and a great beer selection. Super friendly and helpful service too. Impressed :-)

Thank you so much Abby and Will. The 10 cases never disappoint and that’s why we keep coming back after all those years. The food is delicious, the wine list is a treasure hunt and the service is the very best in London. There is no other restaurant I’d rather be on a Friday evening.

30 Well WalkThis glorious pub is in the heart of Hampstead neighbourhood, surrounded by greenery and on a very narrow street that discourages cars to go fast (and even to enter!). Great for people watching, with the sun hitting your face until sunset - believe it’s set towards the South, which makes the evenings enjoyable outside on the terrace and sometimes on the curbside if it’s super busy. A bit of a wait for the bar, but really it’s so packed, give the staff some grace if you’re coming for a pint only - they work super hard!

King's Cross StationGreat pub - find your vibe in one of the many different seating areas. Railway paraphernalia abounds and they really set the scene for a decent pint of Fullers. I didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Some staff were attentive, providing table service. Bar staff were a bit stand-offish and preferred to chat with an ex-employee bout how they were planning to leave the job. I don't really like that when I'm trying to enjoy a pub and a pint, but perhaps it's not really that great for them.
