Called in for the White crab meat sandwiches advertised outside. Ordered the WHITE crab sandwiches on menus. We got brown crab meat sandwiches which was not acceptable especially at £14 pound. We complained and they replaced with white meat which were very nice.no apologies from owner so be careful when you order white crab meat sandwiches not to be palmed of with the cheap brown meat.

Zero vegetarian options for breakfast. Actual quote from staff member “we just like a full English”. Couldn’t even offer eggs on toast or anything, just no vegetarians welcome

Doesn’t look much on the outside but pleasantly surprised by the interior - had the jacket potatoes for lunch with salad and crisps - very tasty and not a bad price. Worth popping in for a bite to eat.

Great spot for breakfast. Friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was large and great value. The toffee apple muffin was devine. We stopped on route to seal cove resort, highly recommend. Thank you.

This place is a hidden treasure, its hands down the best cream tea, the scones are truly amazing. We had crab sandwiches and took our cream tea home with us. The service is fabulous, the choices are great and the cafe is so well thought out. The shop has some really lovely items for sale, I really like this place. Although we don’t own a dog, they are very welcome in there. It looks like nothing much from the outside which makes it even more special inside. Only comment, would be nice to have some music playing in the background but truly lovely place

We often visit this Greggs whilst shopping in Chichester as their sausage rolls are the best. As I don’t drink dairy milk, in the past I’ve always had soya in little cartons. My husband asked for oat milk (my favourite) and to my pleasant surprise Greggs now offer oat milk as an alternative. So my order was for an Americano with oat milk on the side. My husband also mentioned “on the side”. This is because I don’t take much so need to add it myself. So when the lady served an Americano with oat included (frothed up, yuk) (Since when does an Americano have warm frother milk in it?) I said, no I ordered oat milk on the side. Stroppy cow said she didn’t hear that (we said it twice) and that anyway they don’t serve oat milk on the side. So I’ve paid for a coffee that I can’t drink as it’s too milky. I really expected her to say “sorry madam, let me do another one for you”. I mean, for the sake of customer satisfaction, just pour it away and serve me what I’ve asked for! Is it too much to ask to have oat milk on the side? This is a first for us. Every other coffee establishment we visit serves it cold, and on the side when asked. She has no customer skills at all. A right stroppy cow. We were disgusted.

Although they’ve faced a few days of closure it doesn’t take away from the brilliance of the food they serve, food was done beautifully and the burgers cooked very well. Generous portion sizes and very very thick and tasty milkshakes I will definitely be returning. Also to note the tables and kitchen are kept quite clean and there was wasn’t much mess on the floor round the crowded tables which is a good sign the place is being looked after well.
