Great family pub and a proper local 'boozer'.

Meet here with friends every Boxing Day. Makes our Christmas special. Lovely old pub, great atmosphere friendly locals and welcomed by lovely staff.

Why is it that if the bar is open until 00.00, it is closed at 23.00?

Amazing place they were not expecting my visit was looking for darts. the top players for the county play here looking at our competition. The Mens darts had just finished. Met the landlady who was busy with food for the team as I arrived. Found out news from some other teams. they were playing Stroud rugby club. so a big thank you for that free hot milk as I had stirred in chocolate always looks strange. and that I had walked out and went back in after realising that I had not paid for it. Will be back to see the mixed dart teams on Mondays until it swaps over to the ladies in the winter

We had a wake here and it was in a marquee in the garden. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff were thoughtful and the whole experience was good.

Always so friendly. Highly recommended.

This is a good pub with a friendly atmosphere,with a nice pub garden and friendly hosts too.

Very welcoming, great selection of wines, spirits, lagers & real ale. Children welcome & beer garden.

Very nice landlord always very helpful and provided first class food and plenty of it.

Great pub and great landlord and landlady.

Not a pub you would spot easily due to its position but extremely easy to get to. Perfect for sport viewing.. With main bar and small snug. It's best feature is the beer garden which has plenty of seating under gazebos. Don't do food unfortunately other wise I'd give it a five star.

My local. Ann and Brian run a fantastic family pub. Enter as a stranger and leave as a friend.

Friendly staff and customers. Great pint of real ale. Lounge bar for over 25s and back bar allowing children. Close to Go Bananas and easy access to lovely canal walks.

Newly refurbished on the outside. Came for a quick pint after working on the canal. Good pint of Wainwright, nicely kept.

First time l myself have visited this pub, my partner has visited many times...its set in the lovely cotswold stone village of Ebley...a down to earth and no thrills pub, well worth a visit..a pub with a good atmosphere.........

Lovely down-to-earth local pub.

Been to this pub once, didn't have the drink i wanted, relentlessly suggesting alternatives even though i had already said an alternative soft drink. bar staff did nothing as other customers sweared at young girls unprovoked. terrible.

Excellent old fashioned pub, superb beers and no meals so no diners getting in the way. Ann is a superb landlady. Highly recommended.

This is simply just a great pub. Ann and Brian are really welcoming and you won't find a better public in the area. If your a beer drinker like me then there are always 2 ales on tap both kept to the highest standards. I've tried some ales in other pubs and not liked them then tried the same ale from Ann's cellar and loved them. This is how a pub should be. A real centre of the community. Long live the Old crown inn 10/10.
