Lovely view, average price (nothing outrageous), lovely staff

What a fabulous, friendly pub. Lovely atmosphere. I didn't have food, but it looked good.

*UPDATE* Back for more sizzlers. Even better than the first time. So spicy, so creamy. SIZZLING! 💋 I came here with my baby boy Harry, and he absolutely loved the Chicken Sizzlers. Extra hot and spicy, just how he likes it. 🥵 Coming back soon for more Sizzlers! Thank you!!

Gorgeous little pub with a good array of local beers and plenty of 'foreign' options. Well kept beer and very jolly atmosphere. Cosy fire and friendly staff.

We've been here a few times now as its our local having recently moved to the area. All I can say is its perfect, the food is lovely, the staff are very tentative, welcoming and polite which is key for any establishment. They do John smiths so I am very excited about that. Superb views. If you want to eat, the food is lovely too. The lovely owner Carol will look after you. 😀

My partner and often pop in for a pint after a walk, but the little landlord was so vile about our dog, we didn't feel we wanted to stop. Or ever go back

Miserable and rude landlord. Made to feel extremely unwelcome. Won't be returning.

Lovely local that we stopped at for burgers and ciders on our walk through. Sit in the beer garden on a sunny day to soak in gorgeous views.

Nice views good pub garden. But bit dark and dingy inside. Good for a sunny day at a beer garden but food menu and the inside of pub could do with some attention.

Kicked out for singing in a pub when England are 4-0 up. This place should be avoided at all costs if you want to have fun and want to smile. Spent over £500 but apparently they didn’t want our money.

Loved this place goof food beautiful scenery. not the easiest to find if not using a sat nav. Will definitely be going back

Great food at reasonable prices

Popped in for beer and snacks whilst on a walk. We are not local but made to feel very welcome by the staff. Fantastic local beer, and hot tasty food. We will return.

Lovely country pub. Very friendly local people. Friendly staff. Food very good simple food. Hard going to get there through narrow roads. Owned by a local taxi man, where his wife cooks all the food.

The most amazing views, good pub grub, lots of gin choice and friendly staff. Perfect in the summer sitting in the garden and perfect in the winter sitting by the cosy fire.

Lovely Sunday roast. Wide choice for vegetarians and vegans. Family-friendly and a large play area for kids. Recommended!

Nestled in the valley the undercover outside balcony offers amazing views across the valley, including woodlands and fields. There are some great paths that can be taken along the valley from right outside out the pub. The staff are all very friendly.

Good food, good beer and one of the best pub views in the five valleys. Car park is a bit of a pain, but easy to park down the road and walk in.
