Old Crow in Brighton and Hove

I use the Old Crow a lot I’ve used since it changed from the 3 Graces to today I reckon it’s the best pub in the area for value never had a problem with the staff they’re always happy to serve or help great atmosphere ways sport on tv and music if you want food bring it in they don’t mind at all

Old Crow is the place you want to spend your Friday and Saturday nights. The staff are attentive, friendly and they instantly make you feel welcome. There are a range of drinks to choose from and they cater for customers who are vegan and with dietary requirements. The prices are reasonable compared to other establishments nearby and it is easy to access by public transport.

Top gaff loved it. Al was unreal.

Used to be my go to pub, since the new owners have left I’ve had nothing but disrespect and felt un welcomed upon entry. A place I use to call home has now become hell. I’m rather outraged.

Where do I begin, the Old crow, home sweet home. At least it was. Since the old owners have left I’ve felt unwelcome and treated with little regard. I used to look forward to the football at this beloved pub along with their good prices and friendly staff - but sadly not anymore, but I’m afraid I will now be looking elsewhere.

Used come here all the time with my friends but just recently got taken over under new ownership , everyone seems grumpy and unwelcoming , why get rid of the old owners !

Used to be the best pub about under the old management team, such a good atmosphere with friendly staff who cared about there customers. Shame it’s so different now.

The old crow… I used to come here every weekend and even weekdays to watch the football and have a great evening, was incredible with great staff and amazing prices. However, ever since the management has changed it has been quite the opposite… I have witnessed first hand rudeness and lack of respect for regular customers. I’ve had acquaintances refused to come back due to the staff being unbearable and to be honest ruining the unmatched atmosphere it used to have. Is a real shame as used to see this as my local and would look forward to my frequent evenings spent here. All I can say is I am disappointed and wish it were the place it used to be.

This pub is a place of refuge and entertainment for those who are into sports and love to have a great time. However, I’m gutted to say this is a description of a time frozen in the past, lost to greed and corruption. The new owners have me feel like a stranger in a place I once called home, this has not only hurt me very deeply but also has effected my family and the local community. It can’t go on like this!

We didn't eat here but the atmosphere is amazing and both bar staff and customers really friendly. Live music is also great and also live sport on tv. Drinks are also very reasonably priced compared to other local pubs.

This is a fabulous pub. Very small, but packed with lovely people, football on demand...karaoke nights, live bands, and very cheap beer. What more can I say - well done

Popped in to meet friend. Ignored at the bar while 3 new arrivers got served first. Wanted coke, back turned before do you have bottles could be asked, came back draught diet coke, glass full up with ice. I left lol. If your after a old fashioned mens drinking hole this place would suit you.

I was invited to a Party I'm really ill I was made welcome by all concerned people I never knew,the staff are sweet this place doesn't have all this stupid burocatic nonsense I don't know who runs this place,if you like old school pubs,friendliness & not being lodged out for one to many,providing your respectful you'll like it here,brilliant night I had good laugh for once!!!!

Lovely atmosphere, music at just the right level. Spacious even when crowded, as well as great pricing! I’d also like to note the immaculate service from the red-haired lady behind the bar who was witty, efficient and overall lovely to deal with!

If angels made toasties, they'd do it here, poifect!

You may notice there isn't any one star comments because it's a five star pub. Really sweet staff great pub food and a super nice atmosphere what more do you need.

The pub with no beer, bad management, bad ownership, or just don't care ?

Lovely clean place ,lovely lattee ,nice lemon muffin,staff nice friendly .Even have games for the kids to play ..excellent choice for family's with children .Worth going .

Hello , I have made this my local as it's a really nice place, to sit outside in the sun. However there are normally ladies working there, and they make the best hot chocolate. today Friday 2nd June around 4pm . A guy made me a hot chocolate, it was so warm I drank it in seconds. The girls are great hot chocolate makers but the guys, pretty awful, need some more training on how to make a HOT chocolate.

Great little pub/cafe, I went in to collect a to good to go bag, the guy who served me was absolutely fantastic, his manager seemed to be a little bit offish with him in front of customers though.

Atmospheric pub with cosy decor and lovely vibe. Head there also for breakfast and lunch - an unusual selection of gourmet sandwiches that are yummy and well presented. Have the kimcheese sandwich special deal with a pint for a tenner!

Nice looking pub with tasty vegan options. Has a small outdoor area which would be perfect in the summer. Food came quickly and has a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic options

Highly highly recommend the Old Crow if you want a coffee or a drink (or both)! It’s a great place to work from if you work remotely with good internet connection and lots of tasty food. The toasties are amazing and the staff is always the nicest 😊

Kitty cat is the most amazing human being! She helped me so much as never been to brighton before! She kindly informed me where to go in this big city and i cant recommend her enough for her help!

No.1 in Poets' Corner. In fact, the best toasted sandwiches this side of Towcester! And the toastie and pint meal deal is a total winner. Superb selection of beers and IPAs, and great for somewhere to plug the laptop in to work for a few hours. Staff are great, atmosphere is chilled. 👍

We had an excellent beer and toastie at the old crow! Warm sunny day, shading under the canopy. The toastie.....was amazing! So much cheese and really good chutney, I had the chilli chutney which had a lovely tang and warmth, this was accompanied with a good pint. Would really recommend The Old Crow!

Loved the outdoor seated area which was tastefully designed for such a small area. Enjoyed the delicious brownie and coffee. Highly recommended, and will be back again.

Great new coffee house and public bar in what used to be a bank, they have barista type coffee with also New York style toasties and a good selection of ales, this place is far better than one of the chain coffee shops as like all independent coffee houses it has a unique character of its own, with friendly helpful staff.

Just had a lovely coffee and absolutely banging Ruben toasted sandwich with a huge pile of pastrami - I’ve got a big appetite and it filled me to the brim! Service was brilliant and the sun was shining 😎 Thank you

Really great cheese toastie today with a selection of chutneys. Outside area is very comfortable and the staff were friendly. We will be back for a craft beer next time!

Awesome new local pub. Always excellent tunes, lovely bunch of people behind the bar, mouthwatering toasties. Exactly what the area needed. Also really handy for when you get to the bus stop over the road and realise the next bus is in 18 minutes!

Popped in for a lunchtime beer and snack on my day off, the owners said they just opened last week! Lovely friendly people, great craft beer selection, great music choices (Talking Heads, The Doors, The Kinks, etc). There are plug sockets throughout, great for anyone wanting a new spot to work. Heated outdoor seating. Good veggie and vegan options. Solid new spot, thanks guys!

Wonderful customer service. Some of the best lattes I’ve had in the UK and we had a couple yummy breakfast pastries. Jealous that this isn’t local to us!!
