Amazing food, Amazing staff and brilliant customer service. Food was absolutely delicious and tasty. So many different mouth watering dishes to choose from ☺️

Food is very tasty, have tried lots of Indian places local and can say nothing competes Chicken tikka masala is to die for!

Food come partially cooked when called we was offered some new rice and money off our next order but won’t be going back

Have had enjoyable food from here before, but last night had such a disappointing meal. Other than the poppadoms everything was not nice. Curries lacked flavour, naan was cold, onion bhajis were stodgy and bland. Such a shame.

I have used this takeaway for along time since around the time they opened. I have in the passed always had good food delivered and have recommended the establishment to many of my friends. However, it would appear that their service has gone down hill and when speaking to the manager he was not interested in my complainant and flogged me off with totally untrue information. my recent delivery from them took just over an hour to arrive and when it did I was gobsmacked to find that all the food was totally cold and undercooked and what should have been fresh chicken was clearly frozen. I tried to receive a refund for my meal that cost over £27.00 and the manager blatantly refused to do this. I find that their service has gone down hill and will not use this establishment any more. I would not recommend using this establishment as their are others out their who provide better service and value for money.

Ordered from here many times over the years, it can be hit and miss. Sometimes the food is just mediocre but today it was so good . Hot, fresh and really tasty. Friendly driver and obviously a great chef!

How anyone could call this good food/ curry is beyond me. Quite frankly terrible curry genuinely question where the sauce in my pasanda was powder mixed with water and microwaved and the lamb was like burnt rubber 🤢 wife shared my thoughts. Waited 90 mins for delivery as well! never waited so long to be so disappointed this must be how spurs fans felt. Ps the picture is supposed to be pasanda

Ordered for the first time on Saturday not impressed main meal was bland and dry asked for madras hot. Might as well had a korma ordered Bombay potatoes they was absolutely disgusting just boiled spuds in a tub with a tomato not flavor or sauce what so ever I definitely wouldn’t recommend this India restaurant and definitely won’t be going back there first impressions last and this left a bad taste not for me as for star ratings I’d give a quarter of a star but they don’t have that option

People always say 'my local Indian is the best Indian I've ever had, you must try it!' but I've never wanted to because we have always had such great food at Indian Ocean in Theydon Bois, surely nothing could beat it?! HOWEVER! We were craving an Indian and could not be bothered to get in the car and drive to Theydon, so we ordered from Okra. Wow, I am so glad we did! Absolutely fantastic food, full of flavour and prime cuts of meat, great service and a really easy online ordering system. Best Indian in Epping!

Have used you on many occasions last night was Dissapointed!! The food arrived on time delivery guy was nice..we spent nearly £60 and didnt get no popadoms salad or sauce which weve had so many times and my lamb biryani was horrible the lamb was tough like old mutton boots and the rice was hard didnt eat it and it cost a tenner for my main meal dont think I'll order again the chef isnt good 👎

So glad that Okra Green, opened up after the shutdown for weeks😟 I ordered a birthday meal this week, it was AMAZING. As always, perfectly seasoned, NOT floating in oil, like other restaurants. Highly recommend. Lamb Tikka Biriani, Chicken Tikka Dansak, Chicken Chat starter. The food was delivered on time, very lovely staff as ever. I honestly believe this is the best Indian food in Epping, having tried all the others.

We order from Ochre Green a lot and can honestly say they never let us down. Best Indian Take away bar none.

This place surprised me when I first ordered. I was just expecting your standard Indian takeaway. What I received in return was a beautifully made curry and accompanying dishes made to perfection. I was amazed at house little oil was in the food yet it was still cooked really well. Anyone in the area should definitely order from here. The customer service as well is exceptional, I was remembered straight away on my second order, that impressed me.

Since moving to Epping, Okra Green is our new local takeaway. I myself am vegan and my mum is sugar free, Okra green is perfect for both of us as we are able to customise our curry’s to fit our dietary needs. The staff are so helpful and really do everything they can to make sure dietary needs are fully met! One of our favourites!

Okra Green is by far the best curry takeaway within the vicinity, the food is well worth the money and the garlic chilli chicken tikka is a must try. The fresh ingredients could be tasted in every bite. I highly recommend this place.

We have used you on many occasions and really liked the food but tonight my order took 1 hour and 40mins to arrive tonight. The restaurant's called which was a lovely lady telling me what was happening but still after half hour it wasnt here, so called the restaurant and very rude man answered and his customer service was very bad , speaking over me and I told them I didn't want it and he just said okay cool. Then they turn up with the food and try and take 6pound of the order which was also cold. Will never been ordering from these again. Will be going else where

Speechless - Ordered from this place so many times but NEVER again. Waited over 2 & 1/2 hours for delivery and called to find out where our order was. The young girl with NO MANNERS kept talking over me and would not let me get a word-in, she put the phone down on me 3 times, even though I was trying to get her to advise the driver to call me as drivers are not always the same and the fact my property doesn’t show up on their Sat Nav and we have 3 entrances I was just trying to be helpful. I asked when the driver left and to get him on the phone to find out where he was and she became so aggressive that I asked who she thought she was talking to. She said you MATE (OMG) and I replied I am not your MATE and do you think this is how you talk to repeat customers. She then said we have cancelled your order I have spoken with manager and he doesn’t like the way you are speaking to me talk about "The pot calling the kettle black" she stated we have just cancelled your order with Just Eat. Obviously I said what are you talking about, maybe I should come down to the store to get my money back and requested to speak with the manager she said I am the manager, I said how can you be if you just said he has cancelled my order. I requested to speak with him as I have met him before when he has delivered to my property on numerous occasions and he has always been friendly. The manager then comes on the phone all aggressive provoking me to attend the store calls me a PUSSYO and uses ghetto slang words and says I know where you live blah, blah, blah. I advise anyone ordering from this unprofessional place to go elsewhere as they have certainly shown their true colours tonight and going by recent reviews they are going out of business. Shocking customer service!

Ordered a meal to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. It was, as always amazing! Good delivery timing... All dishes well cooked and hot. Complimentary poppadoms as always. And very sweetly, they put some desert in for my daughter on her 21st. We LOVE the food, and even when trying new curries, have not been disappointed.

I have used you on many occasions and really liked the food but recently standards have nosedived. My order took 1 hour and 20 mins to arrive tonight. I called the restaurant and they were very rude, speaking over me and quite arrogant. I hung up. When the food arrived it was cold and driver said the gas had gone off in the kitchen??? Bizarre. I will spend my money elsewhere going forward. Plenty of other Indian restaurants with better customer service.

We've used you on numerous occasions before hand and always been pleased but when you give a delivery time that is when we as customers expect it to be delivered, NOT some halfhour after your given time. Food this time was nowhere near as good as it has been. Guessing there's a different cook. Fortunately there is plenty of choice when it comes to an Indian meal. Needless to say our money will be spent elsewhere in future.

I dont think words can describe just how good Okra Green is, but I'll try to put into words just how good this restaurant is. The food is amazing. Everytime I've ordered, the food has always been hot, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. I've not had food so delicious delivered to me in all my years. Order from Okra Green and you will not be disappointed. The delivery man is always so polite, and I've not a negative thing to say about the food or service in my year of ordering from them.

We've had quite a few takeaways from here and can't knock the food at all, the prices though are just to expensive. Charging for pupadoms, pickle etc when we are spending over £50 is just to cheeky in my opinion . Shame as we'll miss the staff and food.

Place an order today 6th May 2019 picked it up for 17.30pm. Brought it home missing part of the order had to wait hour and half for delivery despite ringing up twice to be told it was on its way the person on the other end of phone was rude . Eventually got the item and was stone cold. Bad service

Just ordered our first delivery from okra online. Easy to do, which is a plus. Great extensive menu to choose from. Well priced as well. The food was to arrive one hour later, which is exactly what happened...you get a countdown. Portions were very generous, plenty of meat and sauce with the curries, and the rice, vegetable and Nan breads were delicious and plentiful. The Biriani was amazing. Korma and passanda..so tasty. None of the curries were oily. Cannot speak more highly of this Indian takeaway, and the service we received. Look fwd to our next meal. Staff were so friendly as well 😊👍

Ordered online. Said it would take an hour. Finally arrived after nearly 1.5hrs and 2 phone calls to them. Whilst the food was hot and pretty tasty, there was hardly any meat or prawns in the dishes and one dish was extremely watery. Doubt if we will order again. Such a shame x

Tried green ocra for the first time tonight. Ordered via just eat. Food was nice and the delivery driver was so helpful giving information about adjusting food to suit the customers if ringing direct. So if extra kick is your thing or toning down a favourite dish they are happy to oblige. We live in a hard to find house and driver rang to find us and was really friendly and welcoming on our first delivery . Will definitely use again.

This was the second time we had ordered a take away from Okra Green.The first time we ordered was very tasty and thought we would try them again. This time, the food was disappointing, extremely bland and all the dishes tasted the same. I don't think we will be ordering from them again. A pity.

Ordered takeway following rave reviews on Just Eat. Hour delivery, which I is about average. Food cartons nicely labelled. However, the food itself didn’t have a lot of flavour. Not enough spice. Very bland. Wouldn’t order from there again.

Have just eaten our very first takeaway meal from here...... OMG I will never use another Indian again if the standards stay as good as tonight’s!!!! We are huge Indian food lovers and We have eaten in so many restaurants around Loughton and Epping, this is by FAR the tastiest meal we’ve had EVER! I applaud you okra green,we will be visiting you this Tuesday to eat in restaurant. Bravo!!!

I don’t review anything but even phoned them to say how much I enjoyed the food, it came recommend to me and I just want to do the same, nice guys too and genuinely grateful I called to tell them how nice it was. Had preverlige of meeting staff which i felt welcome and easy to talk to the food was sublime 10 out of 10 and the service was second to none will be going back or having delivery in future and most defnatley recermending to friends and family thank you for a great meal jamie

Ordered a takeaway and was told it was busy and the wait would be 1hr 10mins. Which we said was fine. Called up after time had lapsed to be told its on its was. Waited a further 20mins to be told they had mixed orders up and would have to wait. 2hrs gone past then they call and offer a refund as or wait for food. Told the to bring my money round. Shocking!

Terrible service first if they forgot my drinks then I realise they have sent be the wrong food so I ring them the Awnser the phone I ask for the dish to be changed and then they say there shut there nothing they can do I was a regular the food is normally nice but after this experience and the rudeness of the member of staff I will never return

This is my second visit to Okra Green and I suspect there may be many more. Firstly it has a 5-star hygiene rating which they are justifiably proud of. The staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful. Sitting in the waiting area is like being in the family lounge with various members of staff young and old.

Epping has a new king of curry!

First order this evening and so impressed with everything.i orderd over the phone and was spoken to properly and quikly made a friend...i never had to shout over a loud kitchen or background noise or worry about if my order was taken wrong. Arrived on time and delicious.

Honestly, the food is amazing and the guys who own & work there really care about not only the food but also the service they offer. They go the extra mile and nothing is to much trouble. Thanks guys

We ordered our meal from Okra Green through JustEat for the first time since they’ve opened. The food was delivered well before the time stated but due to a JustEat error one of the dishes were wrong. After ringing to complain they delivered the correct dish within 15 minutes as well as a can of coke and Thornton’s chocolate. They rang me to apologise for the error and were very apologetic. Overall the food was faultless and flavoursome and the service was excellent. Will 100% be ordering from them again.

Been using this Indian for years but they have gone downhill, like delivering the wrong dishes, not great quality or flavours. They used to be the best in Epping for Indian takeaway but not anymore.
