Really enjoy coming here on Sundays. Food is always good.

The food was nice and fresh, but….not enough taste. I have been to White Chapel a few time, and the food was different. I could feel more taste. This one feel like they haven’t put enough spices. But it’s okey when you’re hungry. I have some friends from Bangladesh and when they cook the food is tasty. From this restaurant it’s just not enough taste. This is the only issue I have. Still recommended.

Warm and friendly service of fantastic Indian cuisine.

The food was cold and horrible. The chicken was chewy, the sauce is a weird colour and the bread was dry, and smelt weird.

Had a takeaway Friday night for 7 first time useing chilli pickle and sorry to say the last time very disappointed

Got my tikka order wrong when I ordered a lamb I received a chicken, everything else was perfectly fine, all was edible so no issues there, just annoying I got the wrong item

Great food. Thursday special is an absolute bargain. Staff efficient although could be a little more friendly did sometimes feel like we were putting them out when serving us.

We visit here fairly regularly, the food is always bang on, served by a friendly team. One, very small criticism, is that the food comes up quite quickly - we have never experienced an over lap. It is a fine line - this may suit some people, but we like it a little slower. Go there, check it out, food is excellent, make your own mind up. Either way you will not be disappointed

Lamb was tough and hard to cut and over spiced nan bread and popadoms tasted stale The korma was extremely salty and really thick sauce The tikka and rice was nice but won’t be ordering from there again really dissatisfied and the majority of the meal went in the bin

Food is decent, although quality can slip depending on the day that you go (different chef?). However, a couple of the waiters are rude and have exhibited a level of disrespect towards me more than once, which I think is very unprofessional. For that reason, I won't be returning.

Was disappointed with the two curries. The chicken in both curries was inedible and chewy and we had to throw it in the bin!

The chicken was tough, the naan was disgusting and the poppadoms were soggy

Went with my son Saturday evening food fantastic i always give a tip where ever i go we went to pay my son paid by card while the transaction was going through a waiter behind the bar asked for a tip by asking i said i only have a card if he hadn't of asked i was going to give one anyways for that i will not be going there again

We ordered 1st time from this restaurant and will definitely order again! The food was really tasty, big portions, well seasoned and an authentic taste. Pregnancy cravings have been fully satisfied:). Only downside was that, after you ordered the food you don't receive real time updates with your order, so initial ETA was 7.40-8pm but food was delivered at 6.57pm, which was super quick! And the food was pipping hot! Very impressed with this little gem of a restaurant in Waltham Abbey. Thank you for your hard work and excellent food quality!

Always good service. Food is great value and good sized portions. We have been several times and are always welcomed warmly.

We have been going to this restaurant for nearly 10 years. About a year ago when we saw they had a poor food hygiene rating we stopped going. Then late last summer I was so happy to see they had been inspected and received a good rating. Unfortunately our last dining experience was one I wouldn’t like to repeat. The two servers appeared miserable and really didn’t want to be there. One of the waiters repeatedly made a lip smacking noise throughout our meal. Unfortunately he chose to stand right behind our table as he was doing this. I wondered if it was a tic but he managed to pause when actually serving us. I’m trying not to judge but it was a bit strange. The food was tasty so regardless off the poor service I asked to add a tip onto the bill. The waiter then repeatedly told me he would rather I paid the tip with cash and he wouldn’t receive the tip if I paid by card. I told him I wouldn’t pay the tip then and would be sure to bring cash next time. Then he asked me to put the tip on card anyway but reminded me I must take cash next time. It felt a bit rude. Unfortunately he won’t be getting his cash tip next time because I was violently sick for two days after. I can’t be sure it was this meal that caused it but as a generally healthy person it isn’t usual for me to suffer the kind of symptoms associated with food poisoning. This experience has definitely put me off. Don’t waste your time, money or put your health at risk.

I ordered food 2/9/22 but 20min later the order got cancelled, I called to ask what happened, the guy on the phone tells me that it's more then 3 Miles and they cannot deliver, I told the guy that I have ordered from you 28 Aug 2022 and food was delivered, but he argued and said that they did not, so the review I am giving is for the 1st order and only for the food quality, service was very bad on the phone conversation

Ordered online waited 1.5hrs but no food. Called the restaurant and they admitted they had forgotten the order. And tried to palm me off with a bottle of wine! Cancelled order and had Domino's instead.

I used to order from here and loved it as the Rag was told it wasn’t great but thought I’d try for myself! So tough and dry! Lamb really chewy and naan. I’ll order from Cinnamon Lounge as usual now 👊🏻 never again 😏

Chicken in the curry was inedible, hard and crunchy as if it had been cooked from frozen. Order from here regularly and normally the quality is good. A little bit of a disappointment on this occasion.

wonderful quality with excellent choices. Friendly staff willing to adapt menu to suit the client, nothing is too much trouble. Never let us down and we go weekly now , addicted ---- vegetarian and meat eater both happy with the menu.

Food quality only got 4 stars because the onion bhajis were small, hard, dry and definitely not freshly made. Basically inedible.

Excellent and friendly service.

The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. The complex blend of spices in the Naga Lamb curry, with the peshwari nan and pilau, met all my expectations.

Onion Bhajis were soggy and not cooked properly. The Naan was tiny and not the usual size. They forgot the drink we ordered with it and had to go back to get it. And it was ten minutes late. Been going here for six years but really disappointed this time

Ambience was the first thing we noticed , real tablecloths and napkin. Next was the neat smart appearance of the staff in black and white uniform. Food ------- well what can I say ? The flavours were amazing, the food came alive bursting with quality and taste. Staff knowledgeable about all the dishes, service was impeccable. 10/10 Chilli Pickle.

First time ordering from Chilli Pickle and it certainly won’t be the last! Fantastic quality and great value, the food arrived early and piping hot.
