What a difference to the rest of the local establishments. This is a great friendly cafe. The drinks are lovely and the staff so nice. Would love to return.

Lovely place, a complete break from the rest of the high street. All the staff/volunteers are lovely, especially Harriett!

Always walked passed this cafe and today we decided to pop in for breakfast. Pancakes syrup and bacon with a mocha. Absolutely fantastic. Service is really good and staff really friendly. There are games and books out so you can take your time and entertain kids if they are with you. Much better than the Costa just down the road. The price is also really good and not being a chain it’s supporting a local church.

I've come in here for brunch a couple of times with friends when visiting the area. The food is good quality and the portion sizes are great for the price you pay; very good value.

Gave staff my coffee card with free coffee, they hole Punched the card then seems they forgot and asked me to pay which I had no problem with. They realised they made a mistake then said oh don’t worry. When they slid my coffee on the table and called me over they where in an off mood staring at me aggressively like I was to be rid of like a thief in a store. I still said nothing but sensed I was being belittled and gave then a stare back and they sarcastically said “thank you” Took this behaviour of theirs to management and he gaslit me saying “what is an aggressive stare anyway, what does that mean”. I explained it was uncomfortable and he still acted confused. either they are working on a commission for coffees which is slave labour or they lack any emotional maturity, both the young 20 year old staff and the manager. Never going back and taking all of level 5 of my building with me.

I decided to pop in to Oikos for a quick drink and had the chai latte. Utterly delicious and piping hot. I could easily become addicted. Service was quick and friendly and the café feels very Covid safe and has a lovely relaxed vibe.

I visited Oikos today on the recommendation of a fellow foodie and coffee addict. I loved everything about it. From the warm welcome the staff and owner Ben are passionate about what they do. The menu included panninis toasted sandwiches etc and specials during the week. We tried several dishes I can highly recommend the toasted mozzerarella sun dried tomato pesto fresh spinach with a salad garnish. The freshly ground coffee was sublime we tried flat white and latte. It has a lovely ambience and it has a community ethos. There is art work by local artists a room for hire for community groups, Everything about is special we are def going back I would recommend this place to anybody.

Been here a few times. The staff are so efficient and really helpful. Food has always arrived really fast and is reasonably priced. The Chorizo chicken pesto pizza is to die for! They also offer a range of gluten free cakes. They're also doing an awesome job of keeping stuff clean during covid. Highly recommended!

Have been in this cafe a few times. Its part of a community project but you would be forgiven thinking it was a professional outfit. The decor is the brick and mortar with exposed wiring beloved of the independent ‘we have just opened we havn’t finished decorating’ look of late noughties, but the truth of the matter they been here a number of years and its obvious why. Good coffee, wonderful cakes and relaxed family friendly atmosphere combine to make possibly the most interesting cafe on the Erdington high street. Recommended.

I went out today to find some excellent coffee, as I needed something to pick me up given how difficult it has been working from home all week. As a bonus I order a homemade, fresh toastie with tuna, cheese, onion, gherkins and sweet chilli sauce. It came served with fresh salad (in a balsamic dressing) and some salty crisps. OUTSTANDING value for money! The coffee I ordered also had the best latte art I've seen in a long time, it had a heart in the middle that was surrounded by a pattern like flames - very impressive. In conclusion - having lived in the area for 8 years now I can safely say there is no better place for coffee and/or a fresh, good value lunch... You'd have to go into the city centre to find competition with 5 miles! Also - I enjoyed that I was sitting on a pew rather than a regular bench, it feels rustic and hip which probably makes it the nicest spot on Erdington high street!

My first visit, it's very pleasant with very clean surroundings. Staff was plentiful. I requested one cup of tea and one cup of hot water. I was not impressed at having to pay the same price for a cup of hot water as a tea.

Located on the end of the high street this cafe offers very friendly service and reasonable prices. The selectin of food is not that wide but everything that is offered is fresh and very tasty. Love the little touches like putting a little short bread biscuit on the side of your coffee. There are a variety of table sizes to accommodate and very family friendly. It is open Mon - Sat and many of the staff are on an exchange programme from the USA.

Attended a party on Saturday night. We had a great time and the venue is nice. There’s an outdoor space so you can smoke/vape. We felt that the drinks were pricey, especially the soft drinks. Went there the next day for a lunch which was put on by the venue. It was nice but quite a few of us thought some of it was a bit spacey. All in all would go back.

WOW. Just a fantastic evening. Ate the best tasting food that we have ever eaten in Birmingham, how this restaurant is not higher up the list is beyond me. #70 for the tasting menu at it was just superb. Each dish presented by the chef that cooked it. Each dish just mouthwatering. Go again? Already booked
