Oh My Cod! in North Hertfordshire

My daughter was sick twice after eating the chips I tried a few and you could taste the old oil they’d been fried in. Disgusting. Really disappointing

Great traditional fish and chip shop. Good service, had to wait for about 10 minutes whilst my food was cooked to order which was fine as it was nice and fresh. Good size portions and nicely cooked fish. There are also a couple of tables and chairs you can sit and wait at, or eat in at. Reasonably priced, will definitely visit again.

This is a brilliant place very clean, great customer service and really good food wouldn’t go anywhere else

Go away from here it’s not qualty we had eat all day we were sick council should check the food , the fish was smelled and mold.

Staff was lovely, and the food was delicious

Just had our first visit to Oh My Cod! The chips were perfectly cooked and a good consistency, not soggy or too crispy. My husband had a vegetable spring roll, which was very nice. Will visit again!

Service is always friendly and the atmosphere always clean. The food has never been a disappointment in all the 15 years of living in Letchworth Garden City.

Sorry to have to say this but I received an absolutely minute portion of chips for £3.45 from here never again!!!

I got a bad stomach from the cod and chips I had here yesterday. That's a first. Something about the fish was off from the very first bite. This is a shame. I came here a few years back regularly and never had an issue. New owners, new methods...

Recently visited Oh My Cod, after visiting family. Has to be one of the tastiest fish and chips I've had for a while, the staff there are great! Will make sure to come back on my next visit to Letchworth!

Arrived within half an hour, delicious chips, great piece of fish, and kids really enjoyed their burger and chicken nuggets. All arrived hot and looking great.

This was the first time that we have ordered via just-eat and we will certainly be ordering again

Went to shop and ordered 3 meals. Got home and things missing. Called the shop and they said I had to go back to shop. On return there was no apology at all and the young dark haired girl just threw the rest of my order in a bag and threw it on the counter with a dirty look. Extremely poor service and attitude.

The driver left the food on the floor without waiting for an answer but returned for a “code” and was very rude. Must have been the last delivery as it was only Luke warm

I ordered battered burgers, It was disgusting dried, batter that hard even my dog struggled to eat it, the chips weren't very tasty very big let down.

Food was over an hour late, it was cold and hard, and the delivery driver left it on our doorstep, luckily my doorbell notified me of movement otherwise I wouldn’t of known it arrived

Me and my family all got food poisoning from here !!! Today we have been so poorly throwing up and haven't been able to get of loo. My partner was up all night and my daughter and me today. I've called 111 for baby and he has to go in. I've called the restaurant and he said it's not his problem and hung up avoid this place at all costs

Absolute joke, the driver stole our order and when we contacted the restaurant they could not care less.. been using these guys for over 8 years, wont anymore. Shocking customer service

Battered sausage was barely battered, chips were undercooked and tasted like the oil needs changing. COD was ok. Pretty disappointing.

it came soggy and cold and 2 hours late. i better get a discount or a refund or something to make up for this because it’s way too late and unacceptable

Well it said it was delivered on time but it was never received! This order was for my disabled mother, I left directions on the delivery note when I ordered for the driver and it was never delivered to my mum s door, we later found it on a neighbours doorstep!! Not impressed

If I could put 0 stars I would. The food wasn't delivered late so much as it was never delivered. Ringing Oh My Cod who were no help at all, saying I had to contact Just Eat. . So, I have submitted a request for a refund and will simply avoid using them in future. I have previously had issues with late deliveries and cold food from Oh My Cod before so will avoid them now

Second time I’ve had a problem with oh my cod. Staff are rude and do not help when they have messed up the order. I have paid delivery but when it arrived I had missing items, they have said I have to collect the missing items or pay for them again. Food was cold and tasted awful. Will not be using again.

2 teenage kids running the front of house, poor service. Too busy talking about Facebook and their lives. Was accused of stealing before even paying. Asked to eat in, they then proceeded to wrap the food and looked at us to leave. Appauling service, will not return. 3 kids now have to go eat outside.

I understand that they were waiting for just eat to sort out the delivery driver but the food was barely warm. Had it been made fresh? or just put to the side? Also not happy that just eat didn't state that they were busier then normal like they normally would.

Cheese was missing from the burger. Wasnt really hot but was still an edible heat. Other than that it was tasty

Fish was awful. It was full of so much grease that the batter was soggy. I could have literally wrung the grease out. The prices that they charge for a miniscule Fish they should be ashamed of what they churn out.

Chips and sausage plus curry sauce bit no drink I ordered with the meal

My food was cold, for the 2nd out of the last 3 times using you - this is so disappointing. I always give clear directions, and the delivery person then ignores them/gets delayed somehow. Last time they even went to the GP surgery in error!

To have the delivery guy rant and rave as the address never stated ‘Flat 3’ and he could not find us was really disturbing. I’ll not be ordering from there again!

5.50 for a large chessey chips not even a full tray waste of money

Despite writing a note, telling the delivery driver to come to the FRONT door, he still came around the back. It is dark, and there are steps, we do not use the back way after dark, it is dangerous, which is why I wrote the note.

Made a £54 order never delivered 3 battered sausages or some off our sauces kids had to wait another 25 minutes as ordered elsewhere due to lack off customer service when we called

Nice food only it took the driver ages and the shop is only in the town being disabled it's hard to get out and this is such a shame

Food was cold by the time it arrived to me, I waited over 25 minutes from the notification of out for delivery for it to arrive when I am only a 5 minute drive from the premises. Won't order again.

The cod was awful, very little fish and full of batter, rubbery texture. Chips seemed to have been around a while, shan’t be using Oh My Cod again!!
