Oh My Cod! in North Hertfordshire

Sorry to have to say this but I received an absolutely minute portion of chips for £3.45 from here never again!!!

I got a bad stomach from the cod and chips I had here yesterday. That's a first. Something about the fish was off from the very first bite. This is a shame. I came here a few years back regularly and never had an issue. New owners, new methods...

Recently visited Oh My Cod, after visiting family. Has to be one of the tastiest fish and chips I've had for a while, the staff there are great! Will make sure to come back on my next visit to Letchworth!

This was the first time that we have ordered via just-eat and we will certainly be ordering again

Went to shop and ordered 3 meals. Got home and things missing. Called the shop and they said I had to go back to shop. On return there was no apology at all and the young dark haired girl just threw the rest of my order in a bag and threw it on the counter with a dirty look. Extremely poor service and attitude.

A fish and chip shop but don’t send out the chips

The driver left the food on the floor without waiting for an answer but returned for a “code” and was very rude. Must have been the last delivery as it was only Luke warm

I ordered battered burgers, It was disgusting dried, batter that hard even my dog struggled to eat it, the chips weren't very tasty very big let down.

OK as usual. despite late delivery owing to traffic,food was still edible,and not cold.I shall still be using this shop despite me saying otherwise in a phone call

Food was over an hour late, it was cold and hard, and the delivery driver left it on our doorstep, luckily my doorbell notified me of movement otherwise I wouldn’t of known it arrived

Food was nice as always but curry sauce I paid for was missing which kind of ruined the meal for me unfortunately.

Me and my family all got food poisoning from here !!! Today we have been so poorly throwing up and haven't been able to get of loo. My partner was up all night and my daughter and me today. I've called 111 for baby and he has to go in. I've called the restaurant and he said it's not his problem and hung up avoid this place at all costs

First time trying a burger. Was nice but needs onion etc instead of just lettuce and mayonnaise. Chips were perfect. Thanks

100% excellent chips were ok,so was the spam fritter.

Absolute joke, the driver stole our order and when we contacted the restaurant they could not care less.. been using these guys for over 8 years, wont anymore. Shocking customer service

Battered sausage was barely battered, chips were undercooked and tasted like the oil needs changing. COD was ok. Pretty disappointing.

Really bad. Pancaked wrapped fish. Will go in tomorrow to see if they need help in knowing how to make a batter as this should be basic 101. Oh my catastrophic!!

Had cod and chips to eat in halfway through eating it, I had to walk out all 3 members of staff chatting away in their own language, so disrespectful, I don’t know what they are saying about me or plotting against me. LEARN SOME MANNERS.Will never go in here again!!!

it came soggy and cold and 2 hours late. i better get a discount or a refund or something to make up for this because it’s way too late and unacceptable

Well it said it was delivered on time but it was never received! This order was for my disabled mother, I left directions on the delivery note when I ordered for the driver and it was never delivered to my mum s door, we later found it on a neighbours doorstep!! Not impressed

the chips and the corniche pastie was piping hot and I thoroughly enjoyed my tea

If I could put 0 stars I would. The food wasn't delivered late so much as it was never delivered. Ringing Oh My Cod who were no help at all, saying I had to contact Just Eat. . So, I have submitted a request for a refund and will simply avoid using them in future. I have previously had issues with late deliveries and cold food from Oh My Cod before so will avoid them now

Second time I’ve had a problem with oh my cod. Staff are rude and do not help when they have messed up the order. I have paid delivery but when it arrived I had missing items, they have said I have to collect the missing items or pay for them again. Food was cold and tasted awful. Will not be using again.

2 teenage kids running the front of house, poor service. Too busy talking about Facebook and their lives. Was accused of stealing before even paying. Asked to eat in, they then proceeded to wrap the food and looked at us to leave. Appauling service, will not return. 3 kids now have to go eat outside.

quality of of food is top,both chips and sausages were perfect. A big 10/10 to this chipshop.

I understand that they were waiting for just eat to sort out the delivery driver but the food was barely warm. Had it been made fresh? or just put to the side? Also not happy that just eat didn't state that they were busier then normal like they normally would.

Had a evening meal from Oh my cod.must say chips and a battered sausage brought back memories from years ago.will definitely be using them again.

Cheese was missing from the burger. Wasnt really hot but was still an edible heat. Other than that it was tasty

Fish was awful. It was full of so much grease that the batter was soggy. I could have literally wrung the grease out. The prices that they charge for a miniscule Fish they should be ashamed of what they churn out.

To have the delivery guy rant and rave as the address never stated ‘Flat 3’ and he could not find us was really disturbing. I’ll not be ordering from there again!

My food was cold, for the 2nd out of the last 3 times using you - this is so disappointing. I always give clear directions, and the delivery person then ignores them/gets delayed somehow. Last time they even went to the GP surgery in error!

5.50 for a large chessey chips not even a full tray waste of money

Despite writing a note, telling the delivery driver to come to the FRONT door, he still came around the back. It is dark, and there are steps, we do not use the back way after dark, it is dangerous, which is why I wrote the note.

Made a £54 order never delivered 3 battered sausages or some off our sauces kids had to wait another 25 minutes as ordered elsewhere due to lack off customer service when we called

Nice food only it took the driver ages and the shop is only in the town being disabled it's hard to get out and this is such a shame

Food was cold by the time it arrived to me, I waited over 25 minutes from the notification of out for delivery for it to arrive when I am only a 5 minute drive from the premises. Won't order again.

The cod was awful, very little fish and full of batter, rubbery texture. Chips seemed to have been around a while, shan’t be using Oh My Cod again!!

This is by far the worst fish and chips I have ever had. I live 2 minutes from this shop and when I got home everything was cold.

Will not be ordering again food was cold and disgusting was also very late delivery then claimed it was bad traffic but yet an order my partner had ordered from the delivery shop right next door to oh my cod managed to arrive 15 mins after he placed the order.

Food came 10 mins early, but seemed super fresh. Cos portion was big and good value, small chips was smaller than I expected but was still enough. It wasn’t overly greasy and I’d definitely order again

An absolute cracking meal, I have always been a bit wary of ordering fish and chips due to the price and the chance of getting a low quality meal for the amount of money spent but I was very pleasantly surprised by oh my cod, the portion sizes were good and the food was of a good quality, very pleased with the meal and definitely will be ordering from here again in the near future

Chips great, one fish good, other fish not up to usual excellent standard: batter a bit salty, thick and over cooked in places. Won’t stop us ordering from Oh My Cod next time - this is a very rare lapse.

Nice food apart from the pie which was cold

Twice been in there now and they've got the order totally wrong. Suppose I should have unwrapped it there and then but didn't think it was possible to get wrong given there were three people behind the counter and I was the only person there. Ordered a large cheesy chips and cod - somehow ended up with fewer chips than I've ever had from a chippy and a battered sausage. Didn't realise till I got home but had a similar mix up previously so I guess I'm going to give up on this spot now. ¯\_( ツ)_/¯
