Worst mcdonald's around. Not ordered from here for a long time due to bad experiences in the past. Decided to see if the place had got any better. Nothing has changed still employing people that can't read a order. Plain cheese burger, no sauce, no pickles. What I got: bacon cheese burger with sauce and pickles. People need sacking sorry but it's not that hard to read a order sent online. Never had a delivery come that's right.

They forgot part of my order, as usual. Which I only noticed once I got home and checked the bag. Constantly annoyed when I order from this Mcdonalds

I give this 5 star because of the staffs caring attitudes.

Never seem to get my order right. Today once again there was error and I didn't receive what I had paid for. Only noticed after I walked home

We regularly use the drive through and like the ease of booking through the app now. Service can be a bit hit or miss and we have learned the hard way to check the contents of our order before we leave. Other than that, you get what you expect to and it keeps the kids happy.

They forgot 4?meals on my order 🙃

Their app takes the order in Letchworth but then I get a receipt for a Hitchin order. Nobody wants to take ownership so I need to double pay so I get my family to eat without going through a huge scene. Nobody is owning my £24 refund.

driver just shoved the bags with food in them in my hands n walked off...No apologise of word what do ever.. Very rude.

Oasis was drinking weak juice was disgusting and they always leave out the added sauces

This place is an absolute joke! When the driver handed me the food, I thought to myself self the bag feels a bit lite! Once opened to realise no chips in the bag, no apple pie. On top of that the burger was a normal Big Mac, in stead of a double. To top it off no straw for drink. Now to deal with just eat is going to be fun!!! Only individual options for each situation.

3 of my burgers didn't come big mac, chicken mcsandwhich and one of my mcplant everything else was there very disappointed as had to order again for my kids

As usual there is always something missing. Last time the pancakes and sausage meal arrived without the sausage. The time before, without the muffin and today hash browns missing. How hard is it seriously to look at a list and then pick it. And as usual cannot be accepting their pop in next time and we will give it free. Free? I paid for it already you overpaid and underworked.

Ridiculous early closing hours, and the app that allows me to pre order well beforehand only to find the staff sitting on the floor outside at 5 past 11 on a Saturday night shouting abuse at us. McDonald’s sort this the hell out pronto!!!! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour

When ordering in store or on phone to collect the food is always hot and fresh! Fairly quick and staff are okay. When ordering via delivery you may as well give up. Food arrives freezing and horrible. Delivery drivers pick up multiple orders causing a huge delay and food left sitting behind the counter as seen in store.

half of our food didn’t get delivered, very disappointing as there wasn’t enough food and not everyone was able to eat. Still haven’t gotten a refund and there was no way to contact them.

Dreadful customer service. I had a voucher for a free coke zero and asked for this at the drive through. I then had to read a number out as the staff seemed to have no idea about voucher. I ordered a cheeseburger to be told "we've run out of meat" so I ordered 6 nuggets to be charged £7. I questioned this and the bloke said "I've put it through as a separate order". He then proceeded to shove the card reader in my face several times with no confirmation he had put through the original order of a coke zero. I eventually said forget it to the food. Totally dreadful customer service. Music blaring in the back with a guy on drive through that doesn't even listen to customers and can't communicate

consistently forget dips and straws. this time forgot the sauce for mozzarella bites, and forgot my nuggets but remembered that sauce. what is even going on at this restaurant😂

Useless. 28th of May got given the wrong burger on a takeaway order so thats probably on me for not checking although the concept of matching items to a list is pretty simple and on the 7th of June my colleague orders me a Hat Trick meal on Uber Eats and the burger doesn't arrive at all, just some cold and limp fries. When I was in the store, it did seem like the staff where more interested in having a chit chat so I suppose the work does tend to get in the way of these things. I'll go down the local cafe next time as although the burgers are rubbish, I'll get what I ask for and they at least smile when they take your money.

It would have helped if you knocked the door instead of leaving the food on the doorstep to get cold. I checked phone at 11.25pm to see what was going on as no one had knocked the door only to see message to say food was delivered at 10.58pm. Think I’ll stick with Uber eats at this rate. Not good service at all!

The delivery time kept changing the chips were cold and milkshake was melted- considering you charge a service fee and delivery charge - service is disgusting

Missing a drink and also the jam for the McMuffin with jam but apparently this isn’t good enough for a refund or compensation. Was also so late that the just eat driver had to apologise to me on behalf of the store.

Got into McDonald’s in Hitchin at 10.10am on Friday 24/5. The drive through had a few cars in so not overly busy but it took 20 minutes to receive my food. Spoke to the manager about the wait time, he was extremely rude and patronising and denied that I waited for 20 mins. Absolutely shocking customer service from the manager.

Customer service wasn't verry good and I was in a bad mood to begin with. They didn't have some of the stuff I wanted which would have been fine but I got my hopes up as it was on the board. I then looked in my bag after leaving and saw they forgot my chive sauce and I didn't have time to go back for it nor was I given a receipt. Could have been because I'm in a bad mood but it's just my opinion.

Was passing through and needed to stretch my legs while having a bit of breakfast. Worst service I've ever experienced at a mcdonald's. I was the only walk in customer and it took 22 mins to my dried out breakfast. Definitely don't recommend and won't be stopping there again.

I recently visited the McDonald's in Hitchin and had a particularly disappointing experience. The staff were noticeably rude and seemed uninterested in providing good customer service. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, I had to wait an unreasonable 10 minutes for a simple cheeseburger. The employees did not apologize for the delay, and their indifferent attitude made the wait even more frustrating. Overall, the service was slow and unprofessional, which significantly marred my visit. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the customer experience.

this branch of McDonald's consistently sends the wrong food. it's amazing how often important items are missing or just something else entirely. in this case they sent different burgers and were missing dips.

Food was cold due to cold drinks being put in the same bag as hot food.

The food was cold the just eat operative dumped the food as quick as he could and hurried away. His action made me think something was wrong.I checked straight away and found it was cold. This restaurant has a very good reputation. The justeat man was at fault.
