Complex flavours, and they know their tea as well as coffee! Had the baklava cheesecake and it was unparalleled and delicious.

Love the bright vibe with big windows. Dog friendly and the service was awesome. Great place for study as well, always be a go to coffee place before heading to university gym as the price is reasonable to me. Not many plugs but still good for your date with your book. The coffee and the pastries was so so, not bad. They also have several Indonesian food as well, which is rare in Glasgow. Feels clean as well.

Had a wonderful Americano in Offshore this morning. Great location and I do love the decor and vibe. Worth a visit if you are in Kelvingrove Park.

Nice space but took an hour for them to bring out my bagel. Had to ask 3 times where it was and then they finally brought it out, but at that point had to leave. Asked for a refund but they said it was only possible through an app. They handed the bagel over but forgot the side salad I asked for. Maybe it’s just new staff because I’ve heard good things about this place and the vibes seemed nice but an hour for a bagel is just not ok🤣. Also to top it off the bagel was not that nice

Place: amazing vibe with couches, overlooking Kelvingrove. Coffee: too basic and lacking taste and expensive for what you get. Plenty of amazing coffee shops around with cheaper and better coffee. Food & Bakery: nothing extraordinary, good taste and flavour, nice and simple bites for when you're working or studying. But again, pretty expensive for a product that lacks the quality it advertises. Staff: nice, helpful, welcoming.

it’s taken them over 20 minutes to toast a wrap, and the other reviews saying the sandwiches taste like cardboard weren’t kidding. i literally can’t cut through the wrap. just opened it up and ate the filling. this and a cannoli cost £7.30 - consider that money down the drain.

It's a bit shabby - that's part of the appeal. People come here to slump into an old sofa and relax.

Fantastic coffee and lovely brownie. The problem is that I didn't get my brownie until my coffee was almost done. Service was a little slow as I think they had trainee staff in. However, they were all very pleasant.

Relaxing atmosphere, staff are great and usually students at local university, very work friendly setup, great coffee and food, good choice of music.

Perfectly decent coffee shop, comfortable and cosy. Can be quite busy. If Ur planning to work on a laptop or similar there note that they charge for battery packs to be able to plug in devices.

Would not recommend. Cajun panini includes chicken you would get in a packet from Lidl. Very loud as kitchen is in cafe and staff forgot elements of our order

Often pop in here for coffee when in the area. Enjoyed a flat white and americano also had tasty falafel paninis. Not the fanciest of places but always a smile from staff, dog friendly and comfy couches. Noticed when in yesterday seemed to have been taken over by students on laptops. There were two young women sprawled over two rather large sofas, saw people coming in and leaving because no seating available. This was all before 10am. I know it’s in close proximity to the university, but for a popular place maybe some customers could be a bit more courteous.

Food when you get it is nice however they firstly forgot the syrup in my coffee then my husband’s bagel which we waited 40 minutes for when rest of family had finished, eventually gave up and asked for our money back. Staff attitude totally uncaring. Won’t be back. Better service in Greggs across the road!

Dependably great coffee served at perfect temperature and great chat from the staff - always a friendly smile and great music. Terrific ambience. Hypnotic aroma from pastries baking in the oven.

Food was very very bad and the service was poor. Don’t like that the app automatically gives a tip because the service was not good enough for a tip. Cakes are stale and staff refused to rectify a mistake on my friends sandwich. Would not go back.

The coffee was delicious and beautiful. The couch was super comfortable. I had a great time reading in the sun with a nice coffee and the music was very relaxing also.

Tasty Flat White and Cappuccino, quickly prepared by friendly staff

If you want a sandwich which taste like cardboard, here’s your place! It takes talent to make something so tasteless. To wash this cardboard sandwich down I tried one of their millkshakes - £3.90 for a glass of watery pi$$! Seriously avoid this place like the plague, the greggs opposite is a FAR better option.

I never normally write reviews but feel the need to here. I came here with my daughter two years ago and had a delicious soup. Returned yesterday and whilst the soup was great, the other two dishes - pitta bread with houmous and naan breadsandwich with chick pea, falafel and salsa were really disappointing - ridiculously tiny portions served on their own, no garnish or anything. Looked lost on the plate! Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed as the actual cafe surroundings are good. Won’t be back as there are too many other better options in the area.

Got some tea and food. Sat on the couches for a Sunday read. Really lovely place. Also had vegan and gluten free options which was great.

Happy to have found a place where i can consistently trust the matcha lattes. Service is always solid and the music is in good taste, not repetitive and not too loud. I dont really order food here so i cant speak to that but the drinks have always been solid for me. I do dislike that all of the milk alternatives are a little extra-- it would be nice if there was one option that isnt, but i can understand it.

Student friendly options with varieties. The London fog was the most superb for me.

Dirty place with dogs sitting on the sofas. They took 30 mins to bring us 2 coffees. Not coming back.

Have been here a handful of times. The energy is great here but the coffee has become absolutely revolting recently. Prices are okay and the food is decent.

pace of the service - simply apalling, 20 mins of wait time for a simple latte is inexcusable

The coffee was absolutely tasteless. Not sure if it's due to quality or the strength, but i couldn't even finish it. I may be spoiled, but when I go to a coffee shop, I expect quality brew. Also, the stools were very rickety, felt like was going to land on the floor any minute.

Sun shines into through the windows this Friday afternoon and the place lights up. Very bright and colorful, full of energy. First visit to Offshore ever. Everything is nice, but service seems a little slow. Could be a off day today. Will be back again to try again. Thank you.

If you have allergies or intolerances don't come here. They don't follow the law in regards to keeping and providing the ingredients in their premade drinks and foods. Watch out!

Just not great. Having to order online with a clunky process makes the whole thing take much longer than just asking. Scone was squidgy and small and felt like it had been microwaved hot. No cream, just butter. And the most insipid orange coloured strawberry jam that was barely enough for one side. The hot chocolate was ok but a bit gritty towards the end. All in all not worth the money being demanded.

Overpriced, staff were very rude to my partner, both had a coffee and were there for an hour but the female manager was confrontational and insistent to leave now as needed table back after two hours. Go to the Gregg's across the road, not worth the hassle.

It's just ok. Nothing special. Coffee was just ok. The food was just ok... Wifi wasn't working in the beginning, so I struggled to work with my laptop, but the friendly staff fixed it immediately! The place is freezing cold, though, as there's only one tiny heater that barely works. I wouldn't go again to this place but as I said, it's just ok.

Excellent place to study, chill or chat. There is this atmosphere of thrumming calm and I have last minute speed written many essays here. Often hard to find a seat though, always seems full. Really excellent place for people watching too with the characters (& dogs) that come in and the huge pane windows onto Great Western.

Friendly staff, but paid £3.40 for a coffee with a drop of oat milk. A rip-off in student area. Oat milk price does not need to be such an expensive add on. A carton is £1 in lidl.

We had breakfast there and we were very comfortable. A place with lots of light, very pleasant and spacious. With sofas to sit comfortably. Friendly staff and very delicious food.

Saw this coffee shop on T. A. so popped in when in area early. Pleasant bright cafe, looking out onto busy west end. Had lovely coffee and breakfast rolls were full of bacon or fried egg. Think there is a good menu. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately, I will have to make a very negative review. I liked the place and I went a few times there to study. But the last time I went there, I had also to make an important call which I had also to prepare for it in prior. I went outside to take the call and I was right outside the place for 20 minutes. When I got back the owner had a very rude tone in her voice and kept telling that I cannot disappear but she was focusing all the time in the fact that I took only one cup of coffee and I was there more than 2 hours and that the tables are only for two hours or else you have to order something else. Nobody ever came to ask me if I want to order anything else so I can understand that I have to order something. Also, I was entirely focused on my call to think something like that. I wanted to stay more and study and of course I would take something to eat after the call but owner's rudeness made me to leave. Definitely, I will not go there again!!!

Nice scenery and home-y environment. Staffs are nice. Wifi doesn't work today. Coffee is not bad but I'd go somewhere else for coffees. Almond croissant has nice filling.

Always disappointing. I understand offshore gets mostly good reviews, and I have tried going multiple times and I am always left disappointed but yearning to understand why it’s reviews are 4+. Here is my take why: It’s one of very few independent coffee shops in Glasgow that has comfortable, relaxing seating. That alone means that people will automatically feel a sense of homeliness and relaxation. For me, that’s where it ends. The coffee is okay. To put it into perspective, Artisan Roast (now closed) was 3 doors down and Perch & Rest (open) is a 2 minute walk from Offshore and both serve(d) better coffee. The staff aren’t entire friendly and in my last visit I was informed I would have have to give up my seat after 1hr. It’s ALWAYS cold inside, so bring your jacket if you do choose to go. I’d hazard a guess that the reason this place is still going is because it’s near the University of Glasgow and students will spend some time here between classes or to do some studying. Finally, with respect to the team, the inside feels grubby, grimy and in need of some restoration. I don’t think it’s bad enough to warrant a 1 star but with the coffee scene in Glasgow booming and the standard increasing, even a 3 star seems too much.

It’s a really cozy place. You can order and pay with a QR code. The hot chocolate is really good and you can add syrups/marshmallows/cream, a bit pricey but it was delicious.

Nice place to have coffee & also breakfast or lunch. Prices are quite reasonable and also staff is very friendly. Actually, i was travelling from manchester to scotland & then when i had visited in this cafe my phone battary was just 9% & they allow me to keep my phone on charge in their staff cabin. If you will ever go to glasgow, it is one of my recommended places to have a coffee with someone special or alone.

Excellent place to read or work. It doesn't have much variety of food, but the coffee is very good. Something against? I didn't see a bathroom (maybe I didn't find it, but it wasn't visible). For a reading or a moment without too much noise I recommend
